After a long day in Miami that wrapped up with dinner downtown, I needed to use a hotel credit before turning in. Knowing my flight out in the morning was way too early for breakfast, popping up to ADRIFT Mare on the 25th floor of the AKA Brickell for a late dessert was the perfect call. The restaurant itself is beautiful and features wonderful vistas right over the bay. Just note that balcony seating is very limited if you are hoping to sit outside. I ordered two scoops of the "fruity tootie" sorbet, and it was phenomenal--packed with bright, clean fruit flavor. The portion size is elegant, so you could easily go for a double order if you really want to indulge. To top it off, the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. We stopped by late at night just for drinks and an appetizer, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful, elevated, luxurious, and with stunning balcony views. Since it was quiet outside, we were able to sit at the high tables and really enjoy the scenery. I had the Cloverleaf cocktail and it was delicious, truly one of those drinks you'd gladly reorder. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but that's expected for the location and overall experience. We also tried the chorizo croquetas, only three per order ($12) but they were very flavorful and well made. The service was outstanding, our server was extremely attentive, friendly, and genuinely social, which made the visit even better. What a pleasant surprise! Ya'll I used chatgpt and it led me here! Me and Hubs were meeting our cousins for dinner & were tasked with making a reservation for 4th of July. We did not want to be in a crowd to watch fireworks but wanted to see them if possible. I put all the details in Chatgpt and it led us to Adrift, on the 25th floor of the Brickell Arch building. The space itself is beautiful. You get off the elevator and walk into a lounge area with several conversational seating arrangements but what caught our eye were the views of Biscayne Bay. I was even more hopeful the firework viewing was going to work out! Once we walked around the small bend to get to the hostess stand, we were promptly greeted and led to our table. The dining space has incredibly high ceilings with gorgeous lighting and again the views of the Bay were amazing. The bar was at the back of the space so it doesn't face the view. But the dining space has a variety of seating options. The balcony had high table seating that's perfect for a romantic dinner or girl dinner setting. Our server took our drink orders while we waited on our cousins. Our cousins walked up and we could tell they loved the location. It's a grown and sexy vibe. There were obviously families dining here but it is a spot for having actual conversation with your table with no loud background music that eventually feels like you're in a club by the end of the night. All of us enjoyed our food and each other! We got the crispy eggplant and mixed olives- very tasty and sparked our appetites for dinner. The guys had the snapper - cooked to perfection I got the chicken shish kebab which was tender chicken with veggies and hummus - flavorful! And sure enough at 9 pm, we could see the fireworks from Bayfront Park from the balcony. Tragically my most recent experience here was closer to 3 stars. Averaging it to 4 based on a prior 5 star experience. The ambiance remains lovely and I still love that happy hour goes til 8. The happy hour menu has changed a little and it looks like some items got cheaper, so that's nice. Server was sweet but inattentive and forgetful. Everything was slow and it took about 3 asks and 30 min for the check. Instead of apologizing or offering to make it right, server just cracked jokes about how he took so long because he didn't want me to leave. He was a sweet guy so whatever but it makes me mad when there's a mandatory 20% service charge in situations like this. And, when you pay they try to trick you into tipping and additional 20 percent. This is one of my favorite secret spots in Brickell when I want to have lunch with a wonderful view. The city view from the 25th floor is gorgeous and they have lunch specials. This day I went for the calamari app and snapper dish. Service was incredible. The young man that was my server was so attentive. Chef knows what they are doing here. Michelin star rated. We were staying at the residence side of AKA and wanted to get something without leaving after check-in. It was a great choice! The outside city view is stunning. The atmosphere is a vibe. We happen to be there on a special meet up happy hour for a large group. It didn't impact our food quality or the service. The person who has lamb chops said it was the best they ever had. The house pickled onions, pickles, and cabbage were chefs kiss. Everything was so well seasoned and fresh. I recommend for sure. read more

Was very disappointed compared to other places in Brickell as I had expected more at a place curated by a Michelin starred chef. The bartender was surly and refused to do any simple variation on their offered HH drink menu and prices were same as on a regular priced drink menu in other places in Brickell. Although we were there for their vinyl inspired Taco Happy Hour which they have every two weeks it was disappointing to only offer one vegan taco ,which being used to good Mediterranean food, I could not imagine having hummus and tabbouleh on a taco. Sad as one normally finds a tremendous selection of vegan or vegetarian tacos in Mexican restaurants. The views were nice off the sliver of the balcony where you could sit outside. Inside seating area was large and open but felt cold and sterile. Prices were high for portions offered expect to pay 30% or more at least for every item listed with tip and tax. The tacos my friends ordered they said were good so im giving points for that Their snack menu only had one vegan option out of 6. Altogether it was a disappointing experience from such a high placed establishment,why go there when there are other places in brickell offering better deals for food, drinks and Happy Hour with better atmosphere and service .We were the only ones there the first hour and by the time I left only 2 more couples had showed up. They'd need to change bartenders or price or food selection to attract more people in to this restaurant, which in addition is hard to find as its on the 25th floor of the Hotel read more

The drinks were delicious, the food was great, steak was cooked perfectly and so was the tuna, but the star was the pita bread and dips appetizer, that is a must. We had a dinner reservation for 8:30pm but arrived an hour early and sat on the terrace for happy hour drinks. The ambiance on the terrace had an amazing city view of Brickell and was very relaxing with a sexy vibe. We waited a while for someone to take our order. The waitress arrived and took our drink order. We let her know we were also having dinner but ordered Parmesan trufffle fries off the happy hour menu while we drank our drinks. The drinks took a very long time to come out but we waited patiently. Our second rounds of drinks, we had to flag down or waitress to place another order. Again it took forever to get our drinks. As the drinks finally came out, it appeared to have been sitting on the bar for a while. The ice was melted and the drinks were watered down. The service was so bad that we decided to cancel our dinner reservation, paid our tab and went elsewhere to eat. Went here for the first time last night- I truthfully didn't have many expectations going into it but it was amazing!! The food was some of the best Mediterranean - we had a few small bites from the happy hour menu, the yellow fin tuna appetizer, beef kebabs and broccolini. My experience at Adrift Mare was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs, as all the negative reviews are absolutely true. My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner. We were both excited to try it, especially since it's just a block away from our home and is advertised as being helmed by Michelin-starred chef David Myers (though there is absolutely nothing Michelin-star about it). Our reservation, which cost approximately $400 for two, was set for 10 PM on December 31, 2024. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated promptly. About 10 minutes later, our waiter came to take our drink order and ask about our water preferences. We also placed our meal orders right away, as it was a "prix fixe" menu, meaning everyone was essentially ordering the same dishes. Since neither of us drink alcohol, my boyfriend ordered iced tea, and I opted for a mocktail. While I understand that making drinks can take time, how about water for the table? It took our waiter a good 15 minutes just to bring water, and even then, it wasn't until my we asked the host, 'can we have some water for the table, please?' Shortly after, our drinks and water arrived, followed by 'the snacks' for the table. These were finger-sized portions of three different small dishes, along with bread and truffle butter. While the bread and truffle butter were the highlight, the rest of the snacks were bland. Now, moving on to the courses: it took over 45 minutes for us to receive our second course, which consisted of grilled prawns and octopus carpaccio. I had to get up and find the waiter to ask why our food was taking so long. I noticed that everyone else around us had either finished their second course or was already waiting for their plates to be cleared. There was a woman and her son seated next to us. They had arrived after us, ordered after us, and yet received their food before us. Even though, they ordered the same dishes. At this point, if we hadn't already prepaid for our meal, we would have left and gone elsewhere. After an incredibly long wait, our second course finally arrived. However, the main course took even longer. It was past 1 AM by the time we received our final dish and the worst part was that my boyfriend's steak was overcooked. He had ordered it medium-rare but received a steak that was completely overdone. He immediately notified the waiter, who apologized and assured us they would prepare a new one. Another 15 minutes passed, and there was no sign of our waiter. Finally, the manager, Steve, came over and informed us that they had run out of steak. The overcooked steak they had sent out was the last one. At this point, we just wanted to eat and go home, so my boyfriend reluctantly ordered a hamburger instead. Unfortunately, even the hamburger was overcooked. Overall, this was the longest and worst dining experience my boyfriend and I have ever had. This wasn't even a true tasting menu. Our reservation was at 10 PM, we didn't receive our main course until after 1 AM, and we left the restaurant at 1:45 AM as one of the last guests to leave. To compensate, the manager refunded my boyfriend's portion of the bill, but it's still difficult to comprehend how this happened. I will definitely not be returning to Adrift Mare. read more

I was very disappointed with this restaurant as it has so much potential. We went on Valentine's Day and we are very understanding when it comes to expectations on holidays; however, the restaurant was not very crowded and we waited almost 45 minutes to get our food after placing our order. On top of that, we were almost serves the wrong dishes not once but three times until our plates finally arrived. The food was subpar considering the price. A cheeseburger with fries, filet mignon, calamari, and one drink set us back over $200 with tip which would have been justified if our wait wasn't delayed and the food was more tasteful. The server came to the table all of 4 times in the whole 4 hours we were there. when the kids food came out the chicken burgers were cold the fries were inedible from how cold they were. When the food finally came for the adults the "grilled octopus" was slimy and had a really bad smell. both paste orders were disgustingly cold and dry, had no flavor. when the server was called over to the table she was very nonchalant about the complaint. The manager never came to the table until we requested to speak to him and he was in a very "I don't care" mood. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
