Great view from our indoor table

Went here on a Wednesday afternoon, it was quiet and peaceful. By the time we left we were the only customers in there. Views were awesome. We both had the Kiliwa Tasting (5 young wines) - See menu photos for wine descriptions. I don't usually love rosè, but this one was so awesome I even bought two bottles to bring home. Also had the fried squid (awesome) and bought a bottle of the Kumeey.

Affordable price for this area. The cheese board was well presented and delicious. The service was excellent. The decor and outside landscape was inviting. Definitely recommend this winery.

Truly enchanting! Love this spot, it feels personable and they got a GREAT menu. Great selection of wines, and there was not one I did not think was exceptional! All the food we ordered as a group was so tasty. I highly recommend the topas and the aguachiles.

Vinos Xecue - enchanting & unforgettable We were looking for a new vineyard to try along the Wine Route at Valle de Guadalupe and found Vino Xucue was highly rated and looked lovely with a fully 360 degree experience we were looking for: and we were not disappointed. Martin was our sommelier and he took incredible care of us, speaking English so that most of our group could follow along. We ordered small bites that were simply indulgent: each bite was hand crafted onsite and tasted phenomenal. We weren't rushed and took our time enjoying the 5-lable tasting. We wandered the grounds and soaked in the incredible scenery along the valley, the rolling hills filled with vineyards and punctuated with lavender to make the whole experience something out of a storybook. Martin took the time to help some in our party who had never before done a tasting, which was really helpful for me (not a novice but nowhere close to a pro). The wines were delicious, made all the more flavorful as learned the notes beforehand so our palates could get the cheat code. Even though there are so many wineries left to discover on The Wine Route in Ensenada, we would definitely return to Vino Xecue because the experience was simply unforgettable.

Truly a delightful winery! Every wine was incredible! Cheese plate was delish! Service was excellent! Night recommend.

Meh, a bit of vinegar in the finish.

Stop #2, so we don't have alot to compare... Queso fundito was good...chorizo was flavorful and the jalapeños added a nice crunch and slight heat. Corn and flour tortillas were good! Ordered the brownie and waited 40 minutes for it...in that amount of time we imagined a fresh warm brownie, but received a tough cold one...wouldn't recommend it. Keloid and Enia were the only wines we would recommend.

Here in August to 2024 places that amazing view overlooking the valley and the service is really really good. We had Chardonnay wine that was made at this winery and both types were really good and reasonable prices. Server was super knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this for a one hour stop. We came on Thursday so it was a little slow, but I've heard on Friday Saturday. Sunday is super busy.

We had a relaxing time at Xecue! My husband ordered the Xecue tasting and I got the basic one. Wines were good and so was our cheese board! The service was great, Delfín was our waiter and was very friendly and helpful! Such chill vibes here. Def would go again!

Depends on what you're looking for. We were 2 of 4 ppl at the winery and we're waiting 15 minutes between tastings. A long time in the heat of the day. The wines were not good for my pallet except the Grenache. Food was good View fantastic but there are so many fantastic wineries don't think I'll be back.

A well enjoyed spot during our recent day in the Valle! Spacious, airy interior and exterior seating options. Comfortable and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. Service was friendly. The reserve wines were excellent quality. They generously provided us with other samples as we waited for our bottle to decant. Beautiful views. The queso and chorizo accompanied by tortilla were a great touch.

Favorite winery!!!! this spot has the views, amazing wines, and the best doggo (pancho) who I had fun playing with! my humans have been here before and had to come back to enjoy a few glasses of cabernet and buy a few bottles to go. Everyone here is extremely friendly and love dogs that I felt right at home! what a wonderful experience and we will sure be back! Hasta La Proxima Pancho!

    Beautiful red blend!

What a wonderful place to just relax in a comfy chair and listen to the breeze while having a wine tasting experience. They do not have other alcoholic drinks but sodas and waters. The staff is absolutely above and beyond. I was able to just sit and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend stopping in for a tasting! So good, had to take some home.

So glad we unexpectedly came across this place. It's absolutely beautiful with so much history behind it! We walked in & unfortunately couldn't get seated due to not having reservations, however, they had open outdoor seating (first come first serve). I really wish they had heat lamps because it got pretty chilly but luckily, they ended up seating us inside due to "cancelled reservations" & my grandma's continuous nagging & bugging for a table lol. We tried a little bit of everything. My favorite was the sangria, absolutely AMAZING! Service was a little slow but they were kind & we definitely weren't in a rush. If you're looking for a winery, I definitely recommend giving this place a shot :)

The charcuterie board stood out with its excellent variety of artisanal cheeses and meats, all beautifully presented. Some of the cheeses were from the goats on the property, pretty cool--and other fresh ingredients came from the region. The "Torre de Uchepo" (Uchepo Tower) was the best. Uchepo is a soft tamale made from white corn, traditional to Michoacán, and here it is taken to another level. It's served with pork rib and a green tomato and puya pepper sauce, topped with fresh farm cream and Cotija cheese. An absolute must! The wines, all produced from the on-site winery, paired perfectly with both the charcuterie board and the tamale dish. The peaceful views of ducks in a small pond and a nearby pasture with sheep and horses. They have dogs too, which are all so friendly and, in my opinion, added to the experience as a dog lover. It's a serene experience that perfectly complements the quality of the food and wine. And the service, the service is like no other. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Valle de Guadalupe's culinary and wine scene. I look forward to returning for an actual meal, we had dinner reservations, but wanted to stop by. The restaurant is off the beaten path. At the gate, you'll enter and continue driving around the property to the top, where the restaurant sits with gorgeous views. You'll see a small pond and a set of stairs--follow them up to the top. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

The roof is literally made of old fishing boats flipped upside down over the cellar. The owner is a retired ship captain, so once you walk inside it all clicks. It's funky and a little weird, and I loved it. Our host was a gem. Knowledgeable, attentive, generous, and so into what he was pouring that he kept slipping us extras to try beyond our tasting. We tried some of their natural wines, and I LOVED them. The orange wine, especially. They reminded me of a good sour beer, kind of funky and tart, and I was very into it. Heads up, though: the rest of my group of four hated them. Natural wines are a love them or leave them situation. After our tasting, we hung out on the grounds and grabbed food from the Troika food truck out front, and honestly, we could have stayed all afternoon. The whole place is so unhurried, and after two more buttoned-up tastings, it was exactly what I needed. Different from the others, not better or worse. Finding out our sommelier was from the 805!
