Been here about 3 times to bring my Lexus in for an oil change as I was tired of going to dealer and wasting a lot of time. Everytime has been quick and easy. This most recent time, I had suspected I had a coolant leak of some kind and noticed this right before I brought it in. I didn't say anything about it and they brought it to my attention, which confirmed what I had thought. I immediately brought it to my mechanic to fix this issue, which happened to be that my radiator was cracked and I got a new one that day. read more

I've been a longtime customer of Corona Lube & Tune and have always appreciated their quick service, which is why this experience was disappointing. I went in for my usual Mobil 1 oil change that has normally cost me $89.95, only to suddenly be charged $130 -- over a $40 increase. I was told the price jump was due to the war and increased oil costs. Wanting to verify that, I called three local auto parts stores afterward, and all confirmed that oil prices had gone up only about $1 per quart. For a 6-quart oil change, that's nowhere near the extra $40 I was charged. To be fair, the service itself was still quick and efficient as usual. But using current world events as justification for what feels like excessive up charging doesn't sit right with me. Loyal customers deserve honesty and fair pricing. read more

RIP OFF!! New to the area and needed an oil change. I saw they had good reviews so decided to swing by. Lady tried to charge me $120.00 for an oil change on my Toyota Camry. Mind you the DEALERSHIP charges me $75. Cant even justify charging so much when they aren't even using name brand oil they are using their "house oil". When I asked why it so expensive she said "if thats too much for you we haven't started yet" so I said yeah that is too much and left. The service ladies are very nice and helpful. The guys underneath removing the oil and filter are very commutative with the folks on the ground floor. Real cool you can just sit in the car while they do their thing. They check the tires, air filter, and brakes. Cost is about the same around the area but much cheaper and faster than the dealership. Repairing anything mechanical is not a perfect science...These guys do a great job of explaining what the process is and being upfront. I have seen some reviews about prices and discounts...This is southern California people, nothing is cheap including running a business. I took not only my car but my son went with me with his car. As a new driver he needs to learn where to go to get his oil changed or tires rotated as well as what to expect when taking his car in for service.. We got a fast response not only on the yelp app from the owner but once we got there they were very nice, up front and instead of pushing an up sale (hate that) they simply gave us options of oil type or using generic vs name brand items. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. I am a person who will always support local business and stay loyal when treated properly. I have gone here before but I have now experienced COVID greediness from this business. The owner charged so much this time for the MOBIL high mileage oil he used, my oil change was $75!!! Last time I got my oil changed there it was under $50. My Ford Taurus station wagon is a 1998, I did ask for high mileage "regular" oil. The oil in his tanks is synthetic blend which after 20 + years of "regular" oil I don't think I should switch my 1998 Taurus station wagon to a synthetic blend. Not sure why I love station wagons so much but I do and with this vehicle I can put more stuff in it than my RAV-4 and the engine doesn't drag. I had a Passat station wagon and loved that car too.
