Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! When I got the car back he told me that he would not give me a new warranty! The car ran for another few months....then transmission went out again! Smh SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Oh, and he must know someone over here at YELP, because he had my 2 prior reviews taken down! Smh

I have been coming here for years . The last 3 or 4 times I've gone, my experience wasn't as great. Was pressured to buy other stuff every time I went in & was literally told "I don't know" when I asked why my check engine light was on. Shortly after that trip, my car started to make a weird noise so I took it into the dealership instead. After a $1,000+ estimate in damages, the gentleman asked if I take my car in for tune ups, oil changes, etc. I told him yes & he told me that this was something they should have caught there & that he couldn't tell if I had even gone in to get my car serviced. That being said, I probably will not be bringing my car back. Time to find a new place. read more

I had such a great experience getting my oil changed; sounds funny even saying that, but it is true. My experience in the past years with EVERY other shop I went to, to get my oil changed had me leaving these other places, annoyed, is the best word I can think of, trying to sell you things that are wrong with your car and that need repair down to the air conditioner. Not with Lucas Oil, they are very friendly, courteous and quick, I was in and out of there and my car runs better than ever. Great customer service, the second I pulled up I was greeted by a very polite man. They got me in and out in 15 min for an oil change. Very reasonable price. I usually do my own oil change which runs me about $30 for the oil and filter. I paid $42 for 6 qts of oil and filter for my Yukon. $12 to not have to jack up my vehicle, go to the store, and have to dispose of the used oil is definitely worth it! Plus they support law enforcement from their thin blue line flag out front which is a plus in my book. I'll definitely be back. read more

The manager, Aaron, explained that they didn't have the recommended oil for my truck but did have another oil he was willing to use. He also told me I would have to waive any liability if there was damage to my engine. I didn't agree with that position, but I told him it wasn't worth arguing about and that we could just move forward. Instead of letting the conversation end there, Aaron continued arguing. I repeatedly tried to de-escalate and simply asked to get the service started, but he kept pushing the issue and became increasingly defensive. It felt like he was more interested in winning an argument than helping a customer. I came in expecting a routine oil change. Instead, I left because of the unnecessary confrontation. Professionalism, communication, and customer service matter just as much as the work itself, and unfortunately this experience fell well short of that.

His shop and waiting area are basic ,don't expect much. But his savings in these areas are passed along to the customer. Based on the reviews I read, I took my car here last week for an alignment. Upon completion when I…read moredrove off the lot, the car still pulls to the right and there was zero improvement. The handling was the same. I told the guy over the phone, but he says to bring the car back in the morning time only. This makes it inconvenient as they are very limited on the time you can come in. I work during the days, so I find this hard to work around their schedule. Not worth the time and money wasted here. Frustrating to say the least.
