Not one to give bad reviews, but if Yelp has anything going for them, it's the ability for customers to recommend or deter future customers for investing time and money. This place is DEFINITELY not 4 1/2 stars. Don't be fooled. I found them on the internet for facility that offers PEMF therapy, after calling and speaking to the receptionist about beginning PEMF therapy, I was persuaded to buy a group on and speak to the staff about this. Turns out, they don't do PEMF therapy and admitted that it was "incorrect info on website". Bummer So I try to at least get a massage (group on) out of the whole process and the scheduling was weeks out. So far, not impressed with this place. Weeks go by, my massage date finally arrives and it gets canceled a little over an hour before the appointment! I show up for the appointment to be told by the receptionist that "are sorry but it was canceled because the therapist was sick". And they called 2 to 3 hrs to inform me. I tell the receptionist that this is not correct, it was a little over 1 hr. She gets an attitude, (normal for anyone if being called on their unsatisfactory service) and she has no plan of action for a solution! 1) I understand someone gets sick but wouldn't there be a replacement? 2) why lie about 2 to 3 hrs notice of cancellation when my voicemail clearly shows 1 hr 12 mins?! 3) false advertisement with PEMF If you have free time to waste, give this place a shot. I went into corona physical medicine after meeting staff at 24 hour fitness. I purchased a gift certificate for a consultation and 30 minute massage. When I went in for my consultation the staff immediately greeted me and made me feel welcome. The office is very clean and beautiful clinic. I am now a patient with the office and loving how they got me out of pain so quickly. The whole staff is very helpful and walks you through every step of the way. Not to mention the massages are great! The therapist really work to get you out of pain as well. I give this office 5 stars for their passion to help all patients. I am 50 years old. When I found Corona Physical medicine it was by accident and I couldn't be more grateful. I was experiencing back, shoulder, neck and joint pain in my elbows and wrists as well as sciatica pain. The first thing they did was an x-ray. I wish u could show you. My neck looked like a giraffe and was just beginning to fuse. In not too much longer they wouldn't have been able to help me I would have ended up forced to have surgery. I know 2 people who have had surgery on their neck and the result is that they are worse than before. With 40 adjustments (3 x's per week), traction, massage, and some other minimal exercises my neck has been restored to 100% perfect! My posture is back, my energy level is up and I couldn't be happier. I am on bi monthly maintenance. I LOVE coming to the office for my massage and adjustment. Before I was finished with my treatment plan I sent my husband in and his neck looked similar to mine (which I suspected). I pay attention to necks and posture now, he just had his 2nd x-ray with 6 adjustments to go and he has made a huge improvement although is still of slightly. My review of this place is based on two visits neither of which were actually with the doctor. During my first visit I saw the person who was consulting with me about future visits. She was very knowledgeable and helpful when we were talking aboutpossible treatment here. I definitely would have started here if my insurance covered it. There are not many chiropractor offices that include medical doctors, massage therapists, nutritionists, and other wellness professionals. I went back today for a massage from the massage therapist I met on my first visit. During my first visit, I had a complimentary 30 minute massage and it was amazing. I met Renée, the massage therapist, and she was easily one of the best therapists I'd ever seen. I get massage often. It's my vice. I've been to many massage therapists and I have several who have made a positive impact on me. But, none who tailored the therapy to my active lifestyle. I told Renee that I am very active in CrossFit. She knew exactly the torture I put my body through. She tailored the therapy to my exercise. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that I already like to very for massage. Renee went beyond that. She hit all of the pressure points and released so much tightness I had been feeling, as well as tightness I didn't even know I had. If you are looking for relaxing, i'm sure she can accommodate you, however, if you're looking for actual therapy and relief, Renée is the therapist for you. Truly Amazing!! I am a painter and work long hours, I also train mma and do strength training. I have been having tightness and muscle pain in my body for a while. Pass Therapy Office staff are awesome they are quite knowledgeable about there profession, as well as patience, kind, friendly and very sociable. When I visit for my session I have more so dealt with JB and he seems to enjoy putting a HURT on people all in the name of 'therapy ' But jokes aside he does an awesome job and makes it hurt good . I am incredibly pleased with my experience at Corona Superior Medicine! I am traveling from Alaska and I was desperately in need of an adjustment. I am also 34 weeks pregnant. I called to explain my situation and they were able to see my the next day. The front desk staff was very helpful and spoke to the doctor in order to best assist me. I was seen by Dr. Brian Gonzalez and he was fantastic! He gave me an adjustment and helped relieved the pain I had been suffering while traveling. I was having a lot of pain and cramps in my neck. I knew of another chiropractor but I didn't feel great after his treatments when I would see him. I tried one other chiropractor too, sucked. I did an internet search and found this place. I am so happy I did! They took an X-ray right off the bat and actually showed me what was going on. I had lost the curve in my neck and they fixed me right up. I went 2-3x a week for a couple months. Best decision in wellness I've made. I go every month for maintenance now and sometimes more (I go in to supplement my worker comp treatments for my lower back because those WC doctors suck balls!). Dr Gonzales is awesome for those strong adjustments you need and Dr Lee is magical for when you need pressure points worked before she adjusts you. Where to begin with how bad this place is, the only good thing about that place is Renee who is amazing at massages, along with Jocelynn but other than that everything about this place is cash cow business. They charge you for a lot shit you dont need (for example they gave my friend who was a patient shots in his ankle for shin splints). Worst place ever. Beware they take advantage of cash patients- they will charge you more what they get from the insurance companies. Shop around other Chiropractic in the area. Their billing procedure is not only unethical, but may also be considered illegal. I spoke to the billing manager (Laura) she was rude and did not want to help me resolve my issue. In fact, she was very fast to say my account would be handed over to the legal department. I asked to speak to a supervisor, her response was "I make the decision" ..."the owner of yhe clinic doesn't handle any issues" I was surprised she said that because if I had asked to speak to someone before my treatment I am sure they would never denied. It's always after treatment that they don't want to help you. I will not be coming back to this place. I don't recommend this place- they take advantage of the billing practice. No one needs a spinal adjustment 3 times a week for weeks on end - I actually got better and stronger once I quit going. I do believe chiropractic adjustments are very helpful, but not to this extreme. The blood test they do to check you for food allergies (called ALCAT) is useless and costs thousands of dollars. They also do a lower and upper body nerve test that is thousands of dollars. They have a medical doctor who comes in once a week, so they can bill accordingly, so they take your blood pressure each visit and charge your insurance for an office visit. They push the pinpoint injection shots "to relax your muscles in the painful areas." The vibration table, wobble chair, compression table, traction all costs loads of money to use each and every time. They bill your insurance for all this, but they want you to pay a fee for all this on top of the thousands and thousands of dollars they bill your insurance. They also have a chiropractor who does acupuncture, which is part of the package you purchase for the fee you pay for a few sessions. You also get a few massages from the package, and you are encouraged to recommend a friend, to where you'll get more free massages. If you are going to miss an appointment, they will berate you unless it is a "valid" reason for missing the appointment. They push that you need to stay "on schedule" to get better. I was not improving at all after the first 2 weeks. The staff is friendly, welcoming, but as I said, they really pressure you to come to your 3 times a week visits (I think because they make thousands off your insurance, not because you need that many spinal adjustments) - they can be downright nasty to you if you don't have what they consider a valid reason not to make your visit(s). Also part of the package is getting 2 jugs to fill up with their Kangen water, but after your initial package is used up, they charge you for coming back and getting this water. In my opinion, this facility squeezes everything they can from your insurance company (thousands of dollars) and you are their way of getting it. I have had back issues all my life and have seen chiropractors off and on for help - they can help you, but this facility takes advantage of you and your insurance. My recommendation is to find a good chiropractor who truly helps you, not look at you as a cash cow! read more
