Car key fab.. thought it would be easier though already went to Oreilly and another key place. 9:57pm Man, these guys are live savers! I bought a new toolbox for the back of my truck and of course those things comes with standard cheapo, as in crap, locks. I keep valuable items in my toolbox and can't leave it unattended with all of those valuable items inside. I stopped by Coronado Lock & Key today and within 3-hrs I had a new, durable lock installed where my el cheapo lock used to be! ALL for $50! You can't beat that! Coronado Lock and Key sold me two of Medeco's highest security lock cylinders that they knew were easily bypassed because Coronado Lock and Key modified the lock cylinders and deadbolt system.. Due to the modifications, the Medeco locks did not provide any security above and beyond that provided by Kwikset or other low security lock cylinders. read more

And the locksmith was available to come out the same day so I went ahead and took a chance. Very glad I did! He worked very carefully for about 45 minutes or so and got a brand new key fob and spare door key cut that work perfectly in my vehicle. No more worrying about losing the original key fob! This company just doesn't change in it's customer service. There is no other locksmit h that I know of that has the old time customer service attitude that John and Robert have at this store. That is why I take the time to go visit them when I have key work to do. I chose to go to them even though I live downtown.
