While I can't fault their plumbing work - it was efficient and professional - the bathroom remodeling aspect left a lot to be desired. **Plumbing Pros:** * **Fast and Skilled:** Superior Plumbing and Gas handled the plumbing aspects of the remodel quickly and competently. There were no leaks or issues after the job was completed. **Remodeling Cons:** * **Structural Oversights:** During the remodel, it became clear that the crew wasn't as knowledgeable about anticipating potential shower door options and leaving us, the customer options" to put in different kind of shower doors. They should have let us know that the wall was not strait and had a half inch off set between the bottom measurement openings and the top. Although that seems coming issue with bathrooms, we probably could have solve that issue with some minor backboard corrections. * **Waterproofing Concerns:** I had to be quite involved in ensuring proper waterproofing techniques were used for the shower, which will be tiled. While the final tilework looked great aesthetically, there were inconsistencies in the level of the tiles themselves. They did not use not enough self leveling in the right place. "Taking short cuts again" **Overall:** If you need a plumber for your bathroom project, Superior Plumbing and Gas is a good option. However, for a full-fledged bathroom remodel, I would recommend going with a company that specializes in renovations and can advise on best practices for shower construction and waterproofing. While the final product looked nice superficially, the potential for future problems due to shortcuts is concerning.

I put this call as a priority and was at the house and starting mitigation with 2 hours. We saved his relationship with his client and in turn he looked good and responsible. However, almost 2 months later he hasn't paid his bill for our services. The client is upset because he won't return his calls (the client wants his carpet/pad re-installed which I would do if I would of been paid for the mitigation) and I am upset because he also won't return my calls. I would give negative stars if I could.

Inept technician & customer Service. Called Anthony to help install a smart thermostat. I had…read moretried installing and it didn't want to power up with the normal wiring scheme, but would with the included power adapter that came with the thermostat. We had also called to have our A/C checked out as well and they told us that had to be 2 DIFFERENT technicians, EACH with a $150 service charge. Don't really understand how someone who is qualified to work on the electrical components of an A/C condensor is not qualified to connect a thermostat, but... The apparent "special" Technician for the thermostat arrived when I was not at home, but I spoke with him over the phone and described the issue where the thermostat would not power up with the standard 5-wire configuration, but would when using the 4-wire adapter. He looked into it and called me back a short time later that said that they Anthony PHCE charges $500 to install a smart thermostat. I just wanted it done so agreed. Once I arrived home I found out from my wife that they technician claimed the smart Thermostat was broken and that he couldn't install it and put the old thermostat back on. He said it shouldn't need the adapter and because it didn't work with the normal wiring it must be broken. Never mind that I told him exactly what he found over the phone before he began. Despite not completing the job we called them for, that didn't stop him from charging us the $500! Fast Forward a couple of months I decided to give it another shot myself and just to start from a clean slate I spend $15 to replace the wire from the furnace to the thermostat. AMAZING, that made it work. Turns out the "5th" wire must have been damaged so it wasn't getting power. Very sad that a special technician for performing this specific type of work didn't even know how to check for a broken wire. When I called them to request a refund for at least the Thermostat installation (I was fine with paying for the service call since they did come out), I explained the situation to 2 different people. They told me the Service Manager would review it and get back to me. Once I did receive the call, they told me that they would not refund any portion. I explained the whole situation again and the gentleman commented that is not what the people I had previously spoken too wrote down. They took it back to the Service Manager who again refused the refund on the basis that I did not let them come out again to fix it. Why in the world would I call back incompetent people who could not diagnose something as simple as a broken wire? Furthermore, I didn't know what the problem was myself until I fixed it, so there is nothing to call them back for. Based on Anthony PHCE's obsurdly high prices, duping people into paying multiple service calls and still charging people for work their "professionals" could not complete, I am amazed anyone uses their services.
