    Just-In Time Moving & Storage

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

I've used Just-In Time Movers twice now and have had great experiences both times. They're…read morereliable, efficient, and clearly know what they're doing. I originally found them when I needed to move a piano and quickly realized that, based on the quotes I was getting, it was almost as expensive to move just the piano as it was to move the whole house. Thankfully they handled it with no problem. Both moves were smooth, the crew worked quickly, and everything was handled with care. Moving is stressful enough, so it's always a relief when the team you hire is organized and professional. Another reason I'm happy to keep giving them my business is that they volunteer their services for a food drive at a nonprofit I'm involved with. Seeing a company show up for the community like that really means a lot. Great service, dependable team, and a company that gives back. Hard to ask for more than that.

AZ Firemen Movers - An excellent crew getting another job done for a satisfied customer!

Professionalism, transparency of pricing, punctuality, clear communication- above all else,…read moreexcellent customer service - these are not just "goals" for how AZ Firemen Movers treats their customers. It's apparent these are their core values. We did not have the best move- ok, it was downright horrible! (Mostly due to the fact that we packed up a 2400 sq ft home in 2 days and moved about 2500 across the country without a place to stay- stress doesn't even begin to explain it) It was the Encyclopedia Brittanica explanation of Murphy's Law in that everything that could have gone wrong- did go wrong. The anticipation of opening that moving van (just about the ONLY control we had during our chaotic move was in that van) only to be reduced to a sobbing mess because quite a few of our items were damaged beyond repair (our dining table destroyed to splinters). I was told it would be pointless to contact AZ Firemen Movers, they could/would do nothing. Why would they do anything? The laws are strange- every quality moving company will tell you that, and if they try to sell you "insurance," RUN! I just wanted to let AZ Firemen Movers know, so maybe it wouldn't happen again to someone else. I was somewhat prepared for the "not my problem" response, or better yet- no reply at all. I was blown away when Marty emailed back and within minutes was talking to me on the phone. He really wanted to speak with me, it was obvious he was concerned. There was something different, he was actually empathetic to my situation. I was not a number to him, I was a person. My family was important. He never made excuses, he listened to my concerns, he was proactive and provided a quick resolution because in his words, "it's the right thing to do." He detailed his appreciation for customer feedback and assured me this was a fluke. His pure honesty is what makes this company stand above all the rest because I know he strives to continue to find improvements. I would never recommend any moving company more than AZ Firemen Movers. Competitively priced, highly qualified and reliable/consistent service- don't waste your time with any other company.

I think it's so important to do your research when you're looking for services and I kept coming back to Creative. Their prices are extremely reasonable and more competitive than other local companies in the valley. They also offer a law-enforcement discount, which is awesome. I spoke with the owner via Yelp messenger, and he was very responsive to everything that I asked! I got a call and an email a couple days before my scheduled move for confirmation, and everything went so smooth. I can't say enough praises about my entire experience!! Renée and her other two guys showed up right up about 720, when they gave me a window between 7 and 730 which was perfect. I had two stops before my final destination, and they did everything like real pros! They were so gentle with my things, and once we got to my new home, they went out of their way to assemble furniture for me. They even took all the trash before they left. All three of them were so friendly and personable, I loved getting to spend time with them while we were moving all of my belongings. I can't recommend another moving company enough, if you're looking for someone to take care of your goods and provide incredible customer service for reasonable pricing, this is absolutely your company. Don't hesitate!

If you enjoy being talked down to, this might be the company for you. Asking reasonable questions…read morewas met with sarcasm, "lol"s, and a condescending lecture about their 20 years of experience -- as if that excuses unprofessional communication. Instead of explaining policies clearly, they implied I was trying to "cut corners," suggested waivers for damage caused by their process, and generally spoke to me like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Experience in an industry doesn't give you a free pass to be rude. There are plenty of movers who can protect furniture and communicate respectfully. I'd recommend choosing one of them. I'm updating my review after the owner's public response, which contains several inaccuracies and omits important context. Unfortunately, that response further demonstrates the exact issue I experienced: dismissive, defensive, and unprofessional communication. For clarity, this was a potential move within the same apartment complex, from one building to another. I reached out with questions about logistics and whether a truck was required for such a short relocation. At no point did I ask the company to arrive "unprepared," skip protective equipment, or endanger my belongings. I asked clarifying questions -- that's it. I was repeatedly told "yes" regarding bringing a truck, but instead of a clear, professional explanation, the responses quickly became condescending and assumptive. My intent was repeatedly mischaracterized as trying to "cut corners," lower costs improperly, or force unsafe practices, none of which I stated or implied. Those assumptions were made about me, not based on anything I requested. The tone of the messages escalated unnecessarily. I was spoken to as though I was being unreasonable for asking questions, and the conversation included sarcasm and "lol" responses. Regardless of how common a business practice may be, professionalism still matters -- especially in customer-facing communication at the very beginning of an interaction. Because of that tone, I decided not to move forward with this company. The job never progressed beyond messaging because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. That decision was mine, based on how I was treated -- not because the company declined the job. After I left my one-star review reflecting that experience, the situation escalated further. The owner repeatedly contacted me through messages and then called me directly, despite no service ever being rendered and despite the matter already being over. I was then accused of trying to harm the company, questioned for having few prior reviews, and personally insulted by having my "ignorance" referenced. That continued contact and personal commentary was inappropriate and crossed a clear boundary. To be very clear: * This review is not retaliation for being refused service. * Reviews are not limited to completed jobs -- they also reflect customer interactions and professionalism. * I am not responsible for a business's "livelihood"; I am responsible for sharing an honest account of my experience. A company can have years of experience and prior positive reviews and still mishandle a situation. This review reflects my experience from start to finish, including the communication before any job was booked and the behavior afterward. Unfortunately, the owner's public response and continued contact only reinforced my original concerns. I stand by this review. I have also left documentation below.
