My to go pizzeria...I never had a problem with them and pizza and wings are delicious.

This review is for their new location on Tuckahoe Rd in Turnersville NJ. Ordered a Margarita pie today.The pie was cooked well. The dough /crust was decent.. Overall the pie had absolutely ZERO FLAVOR- NONE whatsoever !! The "red sauce" tasted like plain, unseasoned tomatoes, the mozzarella had no flavor as well. The chunks of chopped tomatoes were bland. The ONLY flavor was from the fresh chopped basil added after baking. Adding seasoning after the fact was uneventful. There were no sneeze guards covering the sliced pies, the seasonings on the side were unlabeled and the holes in the shaker were too small for the red pepper flakes and what I assume was oregano. FIRST TIME = LAST TIME - Do NOT recommend the pizza. read more

We had ordered many pies over the years, but something went bad recently. First the Pizza is tasteless, crust is just flour and water, no flavor at all and the sauce and cheese tasteless as well. Besides this, the large pie is small as far as the inner circle of very skimpy thin sauce and cheese. The crust was about 2-1/2 wide all around the outer edge. We order from here all the time, so it's really disappointing to have had such a bad experience this time. We ordered our usual--two cheesesteaks--and the order was made incorrectly. We called, and they said they would fix it, but instead of making new sandwiches, they just removed the items that weren't supposed to be there. You could still taste the ingredients, and it was obvious the food hadn't been remade. My cheese wasn't even melted, which made it clear they didn't re-cook anything. This was very frustrating, especially since we're regular customers. i have been going to Corrados since Bruno and his family owned it. It was bought and for a while was good. We ordered pasta meals for mothers day. I ordered my meal without meat sauce just red sauce. I picked it up at 8:00. Got home and saw It came with meat sauce and was so overcooked that the gnocchi were mush. No problem. Called and they said they could either put a credit on my account or reorder. I reordered. This was now 8:30. Called at 9. It was cooking. Called at 9:30. Really angry now. They told me on the way. No manager. No owner. Supposedly owner brother.. Never came until 9:45. I had taken my insulin for meal prep at 8. Called the next. No owner. This guy said I could talk to him. Explained I wanted refund. Very rude. As if I was scamming. I had even returned the meal so they could see . Said he would refund but not to order there again. Let me see. Not gonna lie to you. This is some of the best pizza I've had in years, everything was fresh and delicious. We tried like six different things. We had the hot spicy wings which were, a plus, had a large pizza with sausage, which was amazing, had a cheesesteak which ranked right up there with any cheesesteak. Had a special Italian, which was excellent as well. I tried everybody's food, and everything was legit. So don't let these bogus review stop you from coming here and having some really good food.!!! This place is delivery or takeout only. The wings are among the best in south Jersey and the pizza is very good. Be prepared to wait on Friday nights to wait for your order. When they get real busy they don't answer the phone, frustrating! I was there once when a customer let the owner about the phone service. Overall a nice business with good food. This was the sandwich that was delivered to me on Saturday! I actually ate a bite of it not knowing what was on the bottom and when it tasted strange I looked at the bread and saw this!!! Owner was extremely rude and could care less about what happened! He said it was a bread company issue NOT his issue! Been ordering from Corrados for like forever. Always good pizza but tonight the pizza was NOT Corrados. Middle of the crust was too thin, soaking wet, when picking the slice up to eat, everything slid off (including cheese, sausage and black olives). The crust itself did not have the usual taste. This is NOT the quality we are used to. Saw you were looking for a counter person and pizza maker a few weeks ago. Did you change your recipe or did you find your pizza maker? Best of the pizza places in the area, however, don't expect your food to be ready for about 30-45mins (pizza and French fries) and another 15mins for delivery. Still VERY overpriced, but that has been the main complaint about this place for YEARS, and they still seem to do well business-wise, so I don't expect that to change. If you're a WINGS person and prefer all drums or all flats, they will not accommodate your preference since the force you to split it 50/50, unlike Buffalo Wild Wings down the street. Lastly, they've lost something about their customer service. The workers, delivery people, and management never seem happy. This may just be my perspective and in all honesty, I've never had a personal issue with any staff member. It's just that I've been ordering from them for 2 decades and they just don't seem to be the same friendly family owned establishment they used to be. Ordered from here for the first time last night. Ordered a pepperoni Stromboli with an extra side of sauce. The food tasted very good but I was disappointed with the amount of pepperoni there was. I cut the Stromboli into 2 inch wide slices and There was maybe 1 piece of pepperoni per slice. I guess next time I will have to ask for extra pepperoni. Also, they charged me for 2 sides of sauce... every Stromboli I've ever had has always automatically came with 1 side of sauce so the extra sauce I asked for should have just been one charge in my opinion. I used to love this place when I first came here a few years back. The food was mediocre, but the staff was very friendly and efficient. I am saddened to have to write this review as all of those things have changed for the worse. The food is terrible (pizza is soggy and thin), the wait was incredibly long and the manager was extremely unprofessional, aggressive and rude towards me and my dad. NEW OWNER! If you thought it was bad before, it's even worse now!! Horrible service. I places an order and they tell me 45 minutes and an hour and half later they show up with an incomplete order! I tell the driver and he tells me what do you want from me- call them , we have new owners and it's a mess! I tried calling like 20 times, always busy! this is a "cheesesteak" stromboli i was on the phone for almost 20 minutes placing a very simple order for pickup. the kid might have been new so that's understanding. i ordered 2 cheese pizza slices, & 1 steak stromboli w extra black olives. usually a steak stromboli comes w steak cheese green peppers black olives and onions. i have ordered from here on several occasions and my food was always great no complaints and i tip. It does the trick if you are starving and too lazy to venture out any further, but before I lived here, I was used to delicious city pizza places, so I'm not entirely impressed. As far as pizza, thier standard, plain old run of the mill pizza is pretty good. You know, as long as you order something safe, like plain cheese or pepperoni, you're gonna be ok. It's when you start ordering specialty pizzas, sandwiches and more adventurous stuff that you need to watch out. A good deal of their strombolis and calzones have American cheese in them (yes, American... in addition to like mozzarella and ricotta), and way too much of it. I love cheese just as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but there's something not right about the cheese factor at Corrado's. read more

Veal parmesan was great .Good balance of bread sauce,cheese n veal. Jalapeno poppers were standard. Served with marinara sauce. Available in cream n cheddar cheese. They also don't have good prices if you're looking to get large order of wings. I have been going to this restaurant for years and today is the last time they will EVER get my business! The new front staff is so rude and have no customer service. They charged me more for something I have been getting from them for years and then when I went in to ask them to fill up the parmesan cheese container that I ALWAYS put on my pizza, she decided to just fill it up a little bit since it was nearly empty and when I asked her for more she told me there enough in there and I told no there wasn't and so she gave me a little bit more but then proceeded to say she would have to charge me if I wanted anymore. I have NEVER in all the years been treated that way and so the owner was there I told him I would never go back! His wife is nice but she wasn't there and he didn't do anything or say anything so I just walked out! Never will I ever give them my hard earned money again. I love to support small businesses but it's a shame that you treat a customer that has been coming there for years this way! I'm absolutely disgusted. read more
