Phenomenal. Took the wife and kids. Wife loved her ravioli. I had a salmon dish that was great, and kids had a pizza they loved. Hard to find good food in the area and this place knocks it out of the park. I'm happy they added healthier entrees such as Salmon and Pork Chop. Previously I only saw pizza and pasta on the menu, and due to my diet I eat neither. But definitely lower carb selections now. Definitely fresh. I can not and will not recommend Ash and Oak. I read good reviews prior to ordering take out. I'm a senior on a fixed income but I treated my son and I to take out (1 classic pizza $17 and 1 crab and spaghetti $27, total $48.24). The pizza was medium sized but good. It was the $27 crab and spaghetti dish that was so disappointing. The dish was tasty but the quantity of food was insulting. The take out dish was 1/2 full for $27. I know things are very expensive these days but as an Italian American I would be mortified to serve such a small amount of food and charge $27. Cut to the chase, save your time and money. Too many Italian restaurants around this area to pay so much for so little food. read more

This place came heavily recommended to us on Instagram we are constantly looking for places to go for our date nights. Place is inviting staff was friendly. Our waiter was attentive and pleasent. Got seated right away got to sit outside with no issues. *This place is BYOB we didn't know that before hand but we took some time after dinner to go across the street and enjoy some beers at the brewery. We ordered the Balboa pizza, corn & crab arancini, Caesar salad, the spicy rig and the tiramisu to end the evening. We happily shared everything between the two of us it was more the. Enough food we even took left overs home. Everything was amazing the sauce under the arancini was delicious. The pizza was so soft and delicious and flavorful. Honest Review!! We came on a Thursday ~6pm and snagged the last two-seater. Quick service and nice but small atmosphere. We ordered the wings and Balboa pizza, and we brought a bottle of wine but were not given a chiller like some other tables. The complimentary bread was so rock-solid it was inedible. The wings, which we heard so much about on social media and specifically came for, just tasted like sweet bbq - nothing special. Very small and little meat, but it came with 10 wings to make up for it. The ranch was also very dill-forward for any pickle haters. The pizza had a nice crust but very sparse with the short rib - sesame crust was the only memorable part. Lastly, we were sat next to a server stand and heard servers/bussers shit talking specific tables outside and people waiting for tables. I worked in a restaurant for 3+ years and of course did the same, but never in earshot of diners - quite uncomfortable. I don't typically write negative reviews, but this place did not live up to the Tiktok hype. Fine pizza and may just have been our selection, but not worth returning in our opinion! read more

Always enjoy coming here and it never disappoints. This evening we sat on the adorable patio. Started with soft, delicious focaccia. We split a chicken Caesar salad huge portion, perfectly seasoned grilled chicken with the right amount of dressing, croutons and shaved parm cheese. We split the special chicken parm pizza. Ash and Oak recently partnered with 13th Child Brewery and we went to see the updated space of the brewery. They really added a nicer updated feel and the place was fully packed. The beer was very good just like it had been before. Once we got seated at Ash and Oak, we started with the Crab Bisque , smoked peaches and ricotta, and arancini. The crab bisque was possibly the best I ever had! The arancini was excellent and the smoked peaches with ricotta was sooo good, it was a lot better than I had expected. For our entrees, we had the shrimp with corn risotto and she had the Pork belly carbonara. Everything was excellent. We shared a small Afagato for desert and that really hit the spot. We had plenty of food to take home for leftovers , so that was a huge plus. The owner Vinny was very welcoming and friendly , and if you hadn't been there yet, you must try it! It was all great! Great little gem in Williamstown, NJ. Open 4pm-9pm Wednesday-Saturday only. It gets packed really quick. Come early or at least an hour wait. The menu is small but everything you order will be fresh and very tasty. The pizza is Neapolitan style pizza and it was very good and tasty. We also tried the creamy crab linguine and it was delicious. Service was very good and owner very friendly. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. I love this place! It's easily the best Italian food and pizza in the area. The pasta is cooked to perfection--true al dente--and every flavor hits just right. The wood-fired pizzas are outstanding. No need to travel to the city for great pizza when you've got this gem nearby. The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly. Ash & Oak is making me miss Nicoletta's a little less... the menus are remarkably similar as are the service and ambiance. Yes, I am endorsing the restaurant - you should patronize it as soon as possible! Four of us went there last Friday night (March 14, 2025) and all in our party were very pleased with the food and service. I am assuming the Italian foods are homemade, but either way, it all tasted delicious - served hot. Thankfully, the menu is not overwhelming: you can select from 9 appetizers, 6 dinners, and a nice selection of wood-fired pizza. We shared arancini and the gnocchi trio. For dinner we had pork belly carbonara, crab & linguine, and short rib Bolognese. Mouth-watering, delicious, and fresh! We also ordered a Main St. Margherita pizza, well... just because we wanted to try their pizza. I am not usually a big fan of wood-fired pizza, but I was pleased with it and want to try the other varieties. The dinners are on the smaller side so I was glad we got appetizers. We did not try any of the desserts or coffee, so I can't comment on them. The seating area is small but not cramped. You may have to wait for a table depending on what time you get there. They make reservations only for parties of 6 or more. It was not loud, but wow, it was busy. I was glad to see many customers coming in for pickup/takeout while we were there. Being able to see the pizza oven and kitchen is a plus - I find it entertaining and don't mind the additional "noise" of a business running at max capacity. Shannon, our server, is a holdover from Nicoletta's that I recognized and her service and attitude have not suffered under new ownership. Deeply knowledgeable, attentive, and polite. Thank you, Ash & Oak, for a memorable evening and some great eats! I am always rooting for a Williamstown business that is so close to home. My husband and I tried out Ash and Oak last night for our date night! The food was delicious. The pasta tasted homemade and the sauce was just like my great grandmom makes yum! The menu is small but everything on it sounds amazing. It is BYOB and we brought a bottle of wine with us. The crab arancini balls were so good!! We got a fig ricotta special and it was so good and came out almost like a pizza which I've never had before. All the flavors went so well together and now I want to try some of their pizzas. For dinner my husband had the pork belly carbonara and I had the Bolognese and they were mouth watering and really yummy! The dinner portions are on the small side so we were glad we got appetizers. It is very small there so you will probably have a wait. We sat outside because it was a beautiful night so we had no wait but the chairs outside are very uncomfortable which is the only reason they lost a star. Our waitress was great! What a TREAT!!! I have known Vinny & co. since their food truck days and knew the pizzas would be out of this world! Our server Shannon was so kind and helpful and made the experience in this beautiful space so memorable. Galentines dinner was huge success with BYOB mason jar chocolate martinis, the ash and oak pie, and rigatoni vodka with sausage.... Definitely add the sausage!! Sadly they were out of cannolis ): but the chocolate chip skillet cookie that Shannon recommended was straight from my dreams. First and foremost, this restaurant is an absolute vibe. A hidden gem on Main Street that we are so glad to have stumbled upon. The establishment itself is very cozy, rustic and the wood fired oven smells absolutely amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and tentative. From our server, the manager and the rest in between, they treat all of their customers like family. The food was fantastic, salad was crispy and fresh, the ricotta dip was an absolute dream and the pizza, job well done. I've been searching for some good pizza down south and started to become skeptical as the dozens of places I've been to haven't hit the mark. Ash and Oak completely changed that, so thank you! We finished our meal off with a cookie skillet, which is a must when you visit. Glad we had a chance to stop by when we did since they were closing the following day for a menu revision. Recommend the jerk wings with lime ranch, the arancini, and the pork belly carbonara. Definitely be back for those. Small business BYOB that competes with the more well known spots in Collingswood. Loved eating at Ash and Oak! We went as a group of 5 on a Friday night & waited about 45 minutes for a table. I'd recommend making a reservation if possible. However, the service was great and quick. Our server, Logan (I think) was attentive and read the specials to us. I got the braised short rib special and the table shared the fried gnocchi appetizer special. Everything was AMAZING!!! I do think they'd benefit from a better system for taking down parties who are waiting. A server was writing it all down on a writing pad. Nonetheless, we sat and ate in what I see as an acceptable wait time for a busy establishment! read more

My husband and I mainly came here to try their wood fire pizza. We opted for the margarita pizza and was not disappointed. We also ordered some wings and fries. The sauce on the wings was really good. The Margarita pizza was excellent and the fries were more like a garlic Parm with cheese on the side. Yum! The service was great and we did not have to wait long for our food. We enjoyed this hidden gem and definitely will be back. This restaurant is almost like a mini Cinder bar. This was a huge disappointment, first the pecorino fries didn't even have a trace of salt in it and the margarita pizza tasted like Dominos pizza. Don't go here for pizza, go to Cinder Bar which is a lot cheaper than this crap and a lot better. read more
