Best breakfast sandwiches and smoothies! Staff is attentive and service is always good!

Ordered the thick cut bacon, egg and cheese wrap and it was delicious. Also ordered the special which comes with hot sausage. These were hefty sandwiches but I prefer the sandwich without the hot sausage. I also ordered an iced espresso shaken with white mocha - this was ok. I don't think I will order this particular drink again but will try other menu items. The service was fast and the place is clean and comfortable. read more

The traditional breakfast is about the only good thing I'm sure they maybe alot more that's good here just not for me or anyone I know would be interested in breakfast served this way just different, if u like that thing then u will probably enjoy this spot , but if your looking for a normal breakfast this isn't the place the restaurant in itself is very clean. You've probably been driving past this place and didn't know it existed, but you're missing out on a real treat and treasure. Located on Berlin Cross keys road, nestled in a small shopping mall, next to a nail salon and a nondescript market is the Breakfast Nook. (Heavens, that's a long sentence) What a lovely treat in the middle of nowhere. We went on a Saturday morning, and were able to find a seat, but after a little while the place kind of got crowded. This is understandable for a Saturday morning. The prices are reasonable. I included a menu in the photos. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese, on a jalapeno cheddar bagel ($6.50). My friend got a steak egg and cheese on a multigrain bagel. Steak is $4 extra. So their total came to $10.50. here's the big plus. They have Endgrain coffee from Pitman! They also have a variety of pastries that you can order with your coffee. I had an iced cold brew coffee. This had a decent enough kick to help me write this review. My suggestion is to bring a book here, have some coffee and a nice breakfast sandwich, with your significant other as a starter to your day of shopping or whatever. The folks are very pleasant. Pleasantly surprised by this place. I was in the area for an oil change, and just wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast. I hopped on Yelp, and saw The Breakfast Nook and saw it had good reviews. We were also specifically looking for a sit down place. (more on that in a sec.) So, we show up, and TBN is a VERY unassuming, strip mall breakfast shop. Trust me, the outside doesn't inspire confidence. But when you go inside!.....it ALSO doesn't inspire confidence. As the VERY nice man working the counter later told someone else who asked about it, they are a "take out restaurant," but you are certainly welcome to sit at the few tables they have. And sit we did. BUT, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The seating is tight and it was UNGODLY hot inside. Which is weird, because it was NOT hot that day. They just don't see the need for AC in the dining room since they are, again, a "take out restaurant." You wanna eat IN? Deal with the tightness and heat. BUT, all of that is balanced by 1) the very friendly counterperson, who referred to me by my name, even as we were walking about the door, and by the food, which was quite tasty for simple breakfast sandwiches. I got the Breakfast Nook croissandwich, which is a fried egg, hot italian sausage, bacon and cheddar cheese on a croissant. The Misses cobbled together a create your own monstrosity, as ordering off the menu is like catnip to her. I've literally seen this woman eat a PIZZA with SWEET POTATO on it......yeck. But, I digress...... My dear little one had an apple juice and a Fruity Pebbles breakfast bar (judge your mom), which they make in house. I was happily surprised that the cereal bar wasn't just an absolute sugar bomb, considering it's fruity pebbles and marshmallow, but they did a good job balancing. ALSO, their coffee was freaking amazing, and I'm nowhere near a coffee snob. We ate, we sweated, and then we left. I would have zero qualms about going back, as long as I can either take out or sit outside in the warmer months. They're a little too far to be our go to breakfast spot, but if they're closer to you, they should be yours. read more

Ambiance, charming. Service, friendly. Food, great. Ambiance - secret gem of a location tucked away in small strip mall. The Nook opens to a small dining area with hometown charm. Bagels, baked goods, and coffee on display. Full creamer and condiment bar in the back. Hallway to the restrooms filled with local artists pieces. Service - since opening I've noticed little, if any, turnover. The gentlemen running the show are quite friendly and are always eager to help you decide what ya want to eat/drink. As long as it's not busy they'll even chat ya up your whole stay (if that's your thing). I know I enjoy the company some days. Food - some of the best breakfast in the local area. Haven't had a bad thing on the menu yet. My go-to is putting the lil diablo in a wrap for a breakfast burrito. Gotta add home fries to give it some structural integrity. Decided to try this highly rated place for breakfast. As previous reviews have stated, it's in an unassuming strip mall and it's an unassuming storefront, I almost missed it. Inside is like any coffee shop with a few tables and a cake counter. Except don't expect a lot of coffee options. They have regular brew and cold brew. Then you can fix it yourself with their options of creamers. They were quite busy on a Sunday morning, so it was promising. Because of the great reviews I was willing to wait the 30 mins. We got two breakfast sandwiches. The girl behind the counter was patient as my child decided what he wanted behind his Nintendo Switch. The kid got a plain bagel bacon egg and cheese, I went for an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Simple enough. The eggs must be carton eggs because all I tasted was the abundance of salt they used. I was expecting breakfast sausage in my sandwich but they used what I can only describe as maybe Italian sausage. It was so greasy and tasted like freezer burn. The bagels were ok, similar to dunkin. The food was so good. My husband had the omelette which was very good. It was cheesy and had a lot of bacon. My son had the Morning after - egg, bacon, pork roll, hash brown on an everything bagel. He's not a big cheese person and when he said no cheese they remembered! 4 stars for that!!! I got the Avocado toast which was soooo yummy! Next time I'll get it on their bagel! This is a great spot to have breakfast or lunch! Stopped by for breakfast today as I passed through town with my family. A great local breakfast spot. I love supporting small businesses especially when they are this good. A great selection of breakfast sandwiches on a variety of bread choices. Different cream cheese selections with home made bagels. The only suggestion I would make is to have the daily specials listed in the store. The specials are listed on social media platforms. The food was fresh and flavorful. I will be returning as I think I found one of my new favorite local breakfast spots. The offer limited seating and take out. Unfortunately I have tried to give this place a shot several times but I will not be returning. The prices have gone up and now they charge a .50 cent surcharge per egg, which is fine, but that wasn't disclosed to me. Honestly I would pay a lot for good food so that wasn't even the worst part. When my husband and I started to eat the food it was unbearably salty. The omelette and breakfast nook bowl tasted of pure salt. We couldn't eat it. This isn't the first time the food has been overly salty. You have been warned. I would stick to bagels if anything. read more

Driving through heading to the Philly airport and found this place by accident. What a great find. Food is cooked to order, fresh, and damn good. Our group had bagel breakfast sandwiches, waffle with egg and sausage, and steak & eggs. Coffee was delicious with a big selection of high quality dairy creamers. Staff is all owner and/or friends. we pass the breakfast nook every once in a while and every time we say we need to try it, yesterday we finally did. it's very small inside with some limited seating but it's clean and looks pretty cool in there, i like the owl themed art. i ordered the brioche french toast and my fiancée had the chicken and waffles. my french toast was fantastic, i would go back just for that but i do plan on trying other menu items in the future. she said the chicken & waffles were pretty good as well. we also had a side order of home fries, which neither of us cared for. unfortunately some pieces weren't cooked all the way through. the service was very good, the staff was nice and even gave us a few bagels on the way out because they throw away the extras on sunday anyway so that was cool. i will definitely be back, likely several times and i'd recommend you go check it out yourself. read more

Loved this place to go and eat at! For new comers, it's designed like a Dunkin' Donuts. They have tables but it's more of call and order or go in and order and take the food to work or for home to eat. The food was delicious though and I enjoyed eating there.
