The most expensive started at $20K and without changing anything at all came down to $9,500 after I said no for about 30 minutes. That reminds me of another aspect of what I liked about Master Roofing. There was absolutely zero pressure. I was not made to feel if I didn't sign on the bottom line immediately, I'd lose out on special pricing. Master Roofing did not make me sit with them - Some companies required my wife to be there with me for the hours long intimidation sales pitch. Lastly, their employees are not subcontractors who worked very hard did a great job. I've been in general construction most of my life and nothing jumped out to me as being done incorrectly or half-assed. I also sent pictures and questions to my cousin in GA who literally builds entire houses. He said it looks great. I had a great experience with a small, family run business that's been in business for decades and wanted to share my opinion because of it. Since then, I have asked for their help one other time. They only fix the roof...they do not install new ones. There is a flat fee to do the work unless the estimate will be more than the flat fee of about $300. Bottom line...this guy answers the phone, does the work and sends a bill. We hired OCJ to install fire blocking material in our lower level due to a code violation. The…read morerequired cutting out the top of the walls, installing Rockwool and sheet rock in between the top plate and exterior walls, and sealing all gaps, etc. Oscar and his team were very meticulous in their approach to getting the job down. All cut lines were perfectly straight for ease of replacing the cutouts once the fireblock work was completed. The team worked very efficiently and paid full attention to detail. The finish work was equally impressive as they taped, spackled and sanded over two days, finishing and painting on the 3rd. The work was done so effectively and efficiently that you cannot tell that the walls were ever cut open including matching the existing paint perfectly. I plan to use Oscar for all projects in the future including some modifications needed in the master bedroom. While the workers replaced less than 15 sheets of plywood, I was charged for all 38 panels. After 2 months of trying to get this resolved, the Area Manager for CS1 was to come out for this and other issues. No one EVER showed up or called. I have texted CS1 numerous times, with zero resolution. They even scraped my brand new picture window and front railing. I had to have another company come out and do mold remediation in my attic as they did not even replace panels that should have been replaced. I also never received an itemized bill or warranty for the new roof. VERY DISAPPOINTING and would NEVER recommend this company for anything.
