I met a friend to try lunch, and it was fresh and delicious. I ordered the green chili chicken salad on a bed of greens and the blueberry lavender ice tea. The chicken salad was delicious, and the amount of greens was generous. I got a bleu cheese dressing on the side along with potato salad and a couple small decorative slices of tomato. The potato salad was also really delicious. I wouldn't say the green chili was overpowering by any means. The tea was fantastic, and I got a free refill! While there, my friend and I tried the oxygen bar. We had never done that before. You can get a 15-min. session for $15 or two people can try for 15 mins. for $20 total. You can keep the nasal cannula and use it next time which qualifies you for a $5 discount. Rosy is super friendly and helpful. She shared big news that the store with quilt supplies moved out. The teas and chocolates store will expand into that space, and the kitchen will be larger. This won't happen for a while since they will take over the property in Sept. and start the remodel. Met some dear friends at Corrales Teas & Chocolate. One of us was gluten free and they did have comparable menu items for her special diet. First, the tea variety was extensive. We chose an orange cranberry tea which was wonderful! And a coconut tea that I didn't try because I'm not a coconut lover but the other three ladies at the tea really enjoyed it. The food was ok. First, the scones were not scones they were doughy little blueberry breads. Not good at all. I took a bite and that was it. We only got a few and most were left. And the tiny tablespoon of jam and clotted cream to split with 3 of us was the same as the gluten free diner got. The food was pretty good. The chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, cucumber and cream cheese, spanakopita, and small savory pastry were good. We had a beef Wellington bite that was ok but not very warm. The dessert was unimpressive. Pre packaged small cheesecake with canned cherries on top. And a horrible beignet with cookie butter inside that was hard and cold. I guess I expected for $50 that we would have had fresh baked food. The staff were wonderful and friendly and the shop is really cute. Fun place to be. Not sure I'll return. so met some friends for afternoon tea. I know this is a relatively new venture for them so will provide some constructive feedback. Great location and a fun vibe. the sandwiches were awesome, the savouries not bad but not to my personal taste. the desserts were lack lustre. So on to thoughts and suggestions. I am english and have had afternoon tea A LOt! In no universe do scones get served first and those are not scones they were blueberry muffins. The amount of cream offered was not enough for 1 person let alone 3! Yes they bought more when asked but then we hadn't seen that it was a muffin not a scone so we really didn't eat much of the cream. The teas, need to be steeped for 3-5 minutes not poured as soon as bought to the table. A pot of tea left to steep needs to be kept warm.... a tea cozy is needed. luke warm tea is not good. Get some tea cozy's and learn what scones are and I will be back for another try read more

This was my first time visiting this store. A family owned tea shop, located in the historic village of Corrales. Right off Corrales Road. Easy to find if you know your way around that area. But definitely, have to make sure you don't miss the road to turn on to get to the shop. When I visited they looked to be renovating the place. But they did have their outdoor dining tables set up. Decided to try a little of what they had to offer, purchased some peppermint and earl gray tea, iced coffee and some delicious truffles. Very happy to say that the iced coffee and truffles were delicious. When I got home, I brewed some peppermint tea. So flavorful and aromatic. I'll definitely be visiting this tea shop again. Been coming by this business and always wanted to come in and see their chocolates and fudge and glad I did. They have some estate sale things in here, but it's also a restaurant and they make their own fudge and truffles and muffins among other local foods. Peaches, our server was very friendly and very quick with everything that we ordered and I was very happy with the service. The lady in the front by the truffles and fudge is very and just a very nice person and that's always a big thing for me when I walk into a place after working in retail for so many years that sadly is lacking down here. We enjoyed our trio sampler we did get to each got a black tea, which is very nice and fresh and I like the fact that you can actually come for a tea sampler for $39 per person and did say with reservations for that. My daughter took me here for Mother's Day. It's an amazing place. Well worth it. The staff is great. We had a lovely time.

The food and tea were delicious. The service was fast and attentive. I really enjoy the outdoor seating. It's one of the few places that has a great outdoor seating set up. It's really a hidden gem! So many fun things to look at! They have estate sale items, chocolates, teas, and I believe an oxygen bar. The decor and atmosphere are very comfortable. I believe the owner may have checked me out. The tea was delicious and the shop is so cute. There is indoor and outdoor seating available and everyone who works there is especially welcoming. Absolutely worthy of a stop, super friendly and helpful folks here. Mind boggling amount of teas to purchase, loose and bagged tea. Let them give you a chocolate elixer sample....wow...flavor bomb from Santa Fe. I would recommend an Espresso machine since only brewed coffee is served. This a cute, quaint, clean and cozy place to enjoy tea and food. Both trips I enjoyed the Green Chile Stew which comes with a croissant. Both are tasty. And the ginger peach iced tea was good, too. Our server, Peaches, was delightful. My only con is that the chicken salad sandwich my husband order barely had any chicken salad. It was a sliver of a serving for what you pay. What he could taste was good though. But I would say it would be nice to add more chicken salad to their sandwiches. Other than that, I'll definitely be back and, hopefully, they'll have filled their chicken sandwiches more. Also, they have a darling tea shop with goodies to purchase and enjoy. I won a prize from Corrales Teas and Chocolates thanks to Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce for their shop local initiative. I got a few different items from this local business, some truffles to try which were amazing, tea, honey, a tool used for honey, and the cutest little bee pendant with the package. Each item was so wonderful and flavorful. I had seen this little shop before, but had never stopped in. I now know where I'll be stopping for some Valentine's day gifts for myself and son, along with Mother's day gifts when this holiday comes along! read more

Oh how I love tea! This was a Christmas gift from my husband and it was my fav! The cinnamon roll tea was absolutely scrumptious, the honey was yummy and today I plan on mixing the honey and peach apricot....can't wait! I kept passing their sign but didn't see where they were located. Did a little investigating, because of the word Chocolate and found them on the side of the building. They have nice chocolates, teas, oxygen bar and many other items from local people. Love the concept of this little gem. People that work there are super nice and helpful. Tried this place for the first time since they started serving lunch, and my wife and I were super impressed! We both got the chicken salad sandwiches (I got mine with green chile, because duh), and it was the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. We also got an amazing chocolate drizzled croissant for dessert. They have a really nice spot to sit outside and enjoy when the weather is nice, so we're really looking forward to coming back and trying all the tea they offer when the weather cools down.
