It's so colorful and cheerful inside. You can feel the creativity flowing and gelling. Inspo is everywhere. The staff were so welcoming and supportive-especially to someone who still paints like an elementary school kid (that would be me). We paid $10 for the special ghouls night out session... but I've heard you can do walk ins, too. There are shelves full of all sorts of figures and plates and other pottery to choose from. The prices are on the bottom-and that covers the paint and the firing. My friend and I had a table to ourselves-and could spread out our snacks and drinks (they had cupcakes, cookies and small cans of soda available but you can also byob and foods. We brought charcuterie items, champagne and pumpkin doughnuts). It was such a relaxing and happy experience-painting, snacking and chatting. The staff checks on you. You can also go ask for more paint at any time. My spider won't win any awards-but he sure was fun to decorate! I can't wait to see how he'll look after firing. I'm told the colors will darken. It should be ready for pickup in about a week. I'm told they have art classes, day camps and summer camps and that you can hold parties here. It's fun for all ages and I may bring my mom, sister and niece here for some three generation bonding. It's a comfortable space with lots of easy parking available. There is such an eclectic array of items offered here from jewelry to antique furnishings. The sales associate working today was very polite and helpful, especially since I was being high maintenance and wanted the item off the mannequin. I purchased a beautiful sarong that I plan to use during my upcoming trip to Cuba. White Owl Market's slogan is: "Never the same store twice." I ended up getting some Christmas gifts here. I stopped by the Sarasota Honey Company and the customer service was great and they let me try some of the honeys. I ended up buying a few jars because they were really good! They have a good selection of honeys, I just wish there was more plastic packaging instead of glass because glass can break more easily. The market also had live music and a food truck in the back and a raffle going on. There was a lot of cool things to see at this market and I'll definitely stop by again.

Came here cute my nephew's birthday. They rented the facility to hold a workshop to decorate a…read morewooden box. They put monogrammed letters on the box, sanded, primed and painted. The staff were attentive and friendly, walking around to each table to check on each person and guide them along the process. The work areas were large and it was nice sound with others to guide and help each other also. There really wasn't an overall explanation on how to do the monogram on the box so we struggled with this until a staff member came by and guided us on the process but by then all but 1 monogram was on a box. Wish there would have been just a bit more overall instructions on this is how we put on and take off the monogram. Overall the experience was lovely and I think everyone really enjoyed it. Great place to have a party or come take part in a workshop.

They had ewctangular tables lined up through the shop that accommodated like 8 people a piece. They walked everyone through the process at the same time and took the time to check on everyone during the process. They allowed us to bring in food and drinks for the party so their was a mixture of home made and store bought stuff. As far as I could tell, the kids all enjoyed it and so did the parents who also participated. It was definitely a neat experience and something thatwould be fun for younger families and maybe even a corporate outing or something similar. It was clear our pieces touched when I mentioned to the person at the front when dropping them off that both were still wet and where (I made sure to carry them very carefully to the front). And mine has a color stain from another piece that I'm guessing was next to it. I'd love to come back, but not sure if that will be the case if this is how the pieces that we worked so hard on are treated.

Keith was a recent customer of mine. When his item was lost in transit, I responded promptly, apologized, and arranged for a replacement to be made. Since my products are made to order, the new item followed the normal production timeline. While the replacement was already en route, Keith requested to cancel the order. I explained that this wasn't possible at that stage and again apologized. He responded by leaving a harsh and untrue review, calling the experience a "nightmare" and claiming I was unresponsive--neither of which reflect reality. His review undoubtedly impacted my small business, and it's disheartening that someone who also owns a small business would act in such a way. Things don't always go perfectly, but we all do our best. I would never treat another business the way he treated mine, and I certainly won't support his.
