This place is awesomeee!!! I will say that I think that it's on the cheaper side of activities which involve pottery, but I love the freedom to pick a set of pottery. I enjoy roaming around the paint and sponge area, and the staff never rushes you. They patiently give you the paint, and they're never frustrated. I love the cafe as well and the unique drinks that they serve here. I will say that tables do fill up sometimes so I would call ahead to see if there are tables open. It takes a while for a table to open up.

We went with a large group of friends and you will just love this place ..from the Coffee Bar and pastries to try while you are having fun...they have an extensive selection of things to make and are super helpful with everything...what a nice thing to do outside the box!

The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with me and my two small girls as we made a gift for their mother's birthday. Would highly encourage for any family to have a fun afternoon with something unique.

This is a great little spot of you want to have a nice little chill Saturday. Painting ceramics and drinking coffee. This was my first time visiting YDTD but I was intrigued because my daughter loves to paint. Once you enter you pick out your ceramic, your paint, your paint brush then proceed to paint just that easy. The customer service was good had no complaints. Everything went great! Once your done painting you have to come back at a later day and pick up your painted items

Love love love. I feel like there aren't many places in Tampa that when you walk through the door you can feel your worries melting off. There are so many bisques to chose from and the shop has very cleverly set examples by the pieces to get your creative juices flowing. Even the coffee bar serves their foods and drinks on hand painted pieces. Which brings me to the beverages... they're tastier than Starbucks or Dunkin. They have daily deals for discounts, be sure to check those out. I'm attaching some pictures from my Mom's bday when we surprised her by going here. She had never been and was like a kid in a toy store when she realized we were there for phase 2 of her bday celebration, it was such a great memory. After you paint your pieces they glaze and fire them for you and they do it really quickly! I've never waited for than 3ish days for a pickup call.

We came here for Valentine's Day. Had to make a reservation but usually they told us it's walk in. They had set up a little thing for us for valentines! It was a nice touch. we ordered some drinks while we painted. Only downside was that we didn't have enough time. That was our fault thought as we didn't think it would take us longer than an hour. We got there about an hour and half before closing so we had to rush. But the staff was very friendly! Hope to come back to make more items!

We had a great day for a family friendly bachelorette party to celebrate our cousin's upcoming wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were WOWED! This location is large, spacious and artsy. It has tons of pieces to choose from and I am pretty sure everyone will be pleased. I think they stand above their competition by having their expansive coffee bar and their fast and friendly service. In less than a week, our fired pieces were in our hands. I was deciding between a 4 and a 5 star review, because this is a pricey, but fun day. However, I went for the 5 because everyone had fun and I can't wait to visit again!

This is for use of the studio, equipment and instructions. Note that you will need to pay extra for consumable materials such as glass (that you select), homasote board, solder, solutions (ex., patina), zinc came, etc. Don't be surprised if you lay out about $175+ for these extra materials (depending on your chosen glass). You will spend a minimum of 5 weeks to complete your project. I work fast, even taking some activities to do at home, and it took me 8 weeks (I did a 61-piece project). Other attendees will take 12 weeks or more, based on their abilities. The good thing is that the studio will not charge you extra for additional weeks. They will support you as many weeks as needed until you finish. If you are not the crafty type, pick "easier" patterns that require less/bigger glass pieces. Cody and helper Steve were super instructors. They provided help at every step, demonstrating what to do and how, then allowing you to try and be proficient at it. They were patient, and always willing to answer questions or step in when needed. I loved the class so much, and learned enough that I have invested in my own equipment to do more as my new hobby. (Equipment can be purchase in the studio.) I am hooked! Thanks so much Cody and Steve!

I would recommend participating with a friend or family member, so that you can share purchased supplies. This did take me 12 classes to complete, so plan on it taking you 9 or more classes to complete your piece. The supplies required are purchased as needed each week. Tools are provided as part of the class. I would budget $300 to complete your piece, $250 if sharing supplies (glass, glue, solder, flux, frame etc..). I would recommend buying an extra piece of practice glass to work on glass cutting before trying to cut your project glass. I would also spend a little more money on your favorite glass colors and textures. My glass for my butterfly was more expensive, but it made my project and I love it! You will learn new skills each week and have fun!

I called the store earlier in the day but no one answered. I decided I'll just go to the store and talk to the person face to face. Today was drop off day at the art museum for my son's artwork. Susy at the framing department helped put my anxiety at ease. She guided me through selected a custom made to make me art standout. She also helped me select a frame. She told me she had 15 orders in her que and normally could not do same day requests at this time. But, she made an exception and helped me! I'm so happy that Susy gave my order priority and told me to come back at 6pm. Also, my total came to over $100 but she applied discounts that brought the total down to under $50!! This was the 2nd Michaels we went to, driving all the way across town to see if they had them. We found ONE! However the pencil was split all the way down the side and the tip was broken to where you'd have to sharpen to use at all. Since she needed the pencil for art, we opted to take it to the front and ask if we could get any sort of discount given the condition of the pencil or if they had any others in the store. There were no associates on the floor to assist, so our only option was to take to the register. We waited in line for quite some time since they only had 1 register open but a line of folks to check out. Another register finally opened and we were next -- when we got to the register, I showed the pencil to the associate and asked if we could get a discount. I mean it's a $3 pencil but being split all the way down the dang thing and the top all the way broken off, I mean something is better than nothing. She called on her mic and was told 10% off. I accepted it as that was the most that they could do. She apologized saying if it were her she'd just give me the dang thing given how it looked....but she has to do what management approves. I told her I understood and no worries. Store was quite empty as was the other Michaels we visited -- staff said it was due to the supply chain shortages.
