We ranked 11 different photographers and found Laura's ability to adapt to different wedding ambiances and themes top notch. We wanted a lot of 'pop' since our wedding was really colorful, and Laura was perfect. Before the wedding, Laura called us before talking about pricing and logistics just to get to know us personally and our story. She was the only one that did that among photographers on our list and one of the few among all wedding vendors we booked. I think it really helped her get the right shots matching our personalities to the photos. Her pricing is excellent especially for the amount of work she puts in. Our engagement shoot was great. She planned it out perfectly to get the right scenery with the natural light. It was a long day, but she made sure we were energized with enough breaks and coffee. The day of the ceremonies, she and her team were extremely well coordinated with all of the vendors. They were super-efficient getting portraits in before and after without feeling rushed. I think most important of all is she and her team were a blast to work with! The concept is cool: you are placed into a private room with a professional camera where you can taken an unlimited amount of pictures! You are free to move the camera around or move it up or down to get the best picture. I thought that 15 minutes was gonna be enough time, but I really did not take a good picture AT ALL I could not really position the camera that will or move it as much as I wanted to, and I felt stuck to one position. Maybe I should've booked a little bit more time and really planned out what I wanted to do but I guess it was a learning experience for next time. I also did not think the prices were that competitive, since you are pretty much taking your own pictures. At the end of the picture, you do get a digital copy of all the images you took, which is cool! Overall, I would say definitely book a little bit more time and make sure you understand how to maneuver the camera so you can switch positions and take the best pictures. Maybe even take some extra clothes to switch out of.
