We were having trouble with our printer making a loud noise and issues printing, took it down to this nice family owned and operated business where they diagnosed the issue and let us know what was going on as well as fix it for us. I can't begin to describe how amazing this family owned organization is. I needed a new printer and IT person to come in and help me get set up after I had no response from my previous vendor. I started looking for a new company and I made an appointment with Cortron for them to come out and look at what my needs for a printer were. Devon came out, he was wonderful. Articulate, and focused only on what our needs were, within 1/2 hour of him being here I knew this was the company I wanted to have a relationship with. Today, my copier broke down, throwing toner all over me and running out of toner in the middle of a major project with an absolute deadline. We had a pretty complex issue with a Xerox machine. The tech was onsite with in a day to make the assessment. The tech and offsite staff updated us consistently, which is very important to us. They worked directly with xerox and always let us know what our options were. The owner was very kind in that since the problem was very complicated, they came and picked up the machine to do some testing on it at their office to try and swap parts etc with NO charge. It is not a small machine either. Overall the total fee was minimal, technician, staff and owner were very kind, efficient and went out of their way to save us time and money. read more

Over the the ten or more years our churches have been doing business with Cortron, we have never been left in crisis. I remember well one night before our annual meeting, when paper was flying all over the place, the service rep came from home to fix the copier. Carl and Lisa have come out to assist us on more than one occasion. The guys who do copier repair are knowledgeable and thorough. BEWARE of doing business with this company. I bought a Xerox machine with them and signed a one year contract one year ago. After I paid for the machine they set it up. When I inspected it I noticed that the paper tray for the legal sized paper did not close flush with the front of the machine as did the letter paper tray. It stuck out several inches. I contacted them and told them that there is something wrong with the machine and they replied that this is the way it is designed. I could believe that Xerox would design a machine this way and it certainly did not look this way on the brochure they gave to me. I told them that I wanted another machine and they replied "Too Bad, you own that machine". They did, however, offer to take it back and upgrade me to a machine that did not have that problem if I paid several hundred dollars more than the $2,500.00 that I already paid to them. CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH technique and I told them so. They told me that I was bound by the contract and that they would not be renewing it after the one year contract period expired. When the one year was up they arbitrarily hit a kill switch on my machine and told me that they would not re-activate it unless I returned a cartridge of toner (that they had sent to me unsolicited). I told them that it was unopened and they were welcome to come and get it anytime. The said that I had to pay to have it returned to them. They gave me no warning that they would do this and my office was in the middle of a very high dollar transaction. We had to go to an outside source to scan and copy some very important documents. This company threatens, takes unilateral actions, and generally act like spoiled children when you question anything. If I could give them a minus rating, I would do so. Deal with them at your own risk. read more

When our copier lease with a major manufacturer finally expired last year, I called on Cortron for a used machine that better fit the needs and finances of my office of 8 professionals and two support people. We wanted a local provider with a quick response time. Cortron cut our costs in half and responded promptly to service issues. We've saved around $2,500 in the last 12 months alone. What's weird is that someone at my office who does not benefit from the savings appears to have posted a bloated negative review of Cortron under a phony name. I guess the on-line review process isn't perfect. I would highly recommend Cortron and urge customers to compare their products and services to the major manufacturers before comitting to a long termlease or purchase. read more
