My boyfriend had an issue with his truck and this dealership had it for a week, he came to pick it up and not even 24hrs in, his truck broke down again. Took it back and had them look at it for a week again and when they called him to pick it up Amy said his truck might be low in battery.. it would be common decency or common SENSE to at least charge it if you know its low in battery. How is it supposed to drive? So he left and had them charge it and had to pick it up the next day. Either they don't know what they're doing or they just don't care about customers needs! read more

Be aware and document any problems your car has before bringing it in, especially if it's relating to a recall notice. Recently had them fix some software issues relating to the knock detector regarding a recall notice for the Ford Escape 2022. Had the knock detector erroneously go off after going over some train tracks leaving me in limp mode for 3 weeks. Got it coded at both O'Reilly's and AutoZone (AutoZone didn't print off the results of the code, just the part issue, while O'Reilly's was able to tell me that the camshaft had skipped a tooth and I would need to bring it to the dealership since it should have still been under warranty). Brought it in to have them clear the codes and replace the knock detector or camshaft if it was needed and they had me sign a diagnostics fee waiver before they would even look at it. Took them about a week to look at it and tried to tell me with a straight face that it was fine and that it wasn't coding when I brought it in, but after bringing up that I still had the paperwork from O'Reilly's and AutoZone and would subpoena both of the workers who coded my car the first time they decided to waive the fee rather than risk going to court. read more

We bought a new King Ranch F-150 August 2025. In October 2026 it was traded in and since then we've been trying to get our GAP insurance refunded. Many phone calls and promises with no results. Today November 11, 2026 I called to talk to the manager, the person taking the call asked what it was about and I explained and he said he'd pass the message on. Had a Quicklane oil change done. The "technician " showed me the cabin air filter but I declined because of their ridiculous price. Stopped at Pep Boys on the way home and bought one. I started to change it when I noticed all the damage the "technician " did. He broke off the locking tab on the right filter door clip, didn't replace the filter door screws so they are missing, and removed then just left loose two screws under the filter assembly that had nothing to do with the filter replacement. As we were on a test drive, that's when he started to bad mouth the Chevy and the Honda, saying that they are both junk vehicles. When we got back to the dealer that's when he stated that it's MSRP, plus a $5000 "market adjustment" so it was a Lariat, at $39k plus $5k plus taxes looking at almost a $48k Maverick. When we told the sales person that we would consider at MSRP, and he stated no deal, and walked away. Recently bought a new car from Corwin! Buying a car from a dealer is never a great experience! My experience this time was as good as one would hope for. Both the salesman at the contracts guys were great, easy to work with and absolutely a no pressure experience. My only negative issue would be the time it takes to complete the deal once we made the decision to buy. One other thing of note is about all the paperwork. On all the purchases I've made over the years I left with not only a new vehicle but a stack of copies of all the paperwork. Went to the bank and had multiple phone calls with them and papers in hand asking to see my loan and they said they didn't have anything. Called Corwin afterwards to then hear that they changed the bank to Wells Fargo out of no where and my new payment was due the 5th. I've been calling Wells Fargo looking for my loan and went to the bank today 11/03 for them to tell me they couldn't find anything under my name. Called Corwin again just for them to tell me they haven't sent any paperwork through and my new first payment is due the 15th and that the paper work for the loan would now be ready to be seen the 4th or 5th. This has been a very stressful experience and their sales team isn't any help with them being a bunch of nitwits that change what they say each time I call. Corwin was great. Love the truck and purchasing was easy. However, by far, the difference-maker was Rob Sherman. He was a walking YouTube of knowledge about the trucks I was interested in. He knew their complete history, their engines, drivetrains, steering, and could even talk me through all the design iterations along the way that Ford went through to get to each. He seemed more than happy to geek out on the specifics of towing and off-road capabilities, as well as the interior UX experience and comforts. When sales is done right it's about information begets confidence. Rob did this superbly and as he further understood our needs and interests he was able to double click on those particular subjects. It never felt rushed, nor sales-y. Just super friendly. Furthermore, he took me on atypical test drives. It wasn't just 4 right turns. We did back roads, hills, highways, etc. So much better than standard. TLDR: If quality service matters, don't leave it to chance, ask for Rob. read more

I went to Corwin Ford to purchase a used Tesla Long Range (330 mile range) for my daily commute (138 miles). It had just sold before I arrived. They turned me to a 2022 Ford Mach E. They said it had a similar range and would work just fine. They told my wife it had a better range than the Tesla. Well, it wasn't the case. I wasn't able to test drive it for 138 miles, and it had a low battery, so I trusted them. They delivered it to me with it on empty, so I charged it myself and saw it was nowhere near the range of the Tesla. I drove it the next day, and was unable to make it my entire distance needed without having to charge...something I wanted to avoid in the first place. I called the finance manager, Chad Cindell the next day, and he told me to just charge it beyond 80% which isn't recommended. I tried it and was able to make the drive at 2am without any traffic which is unrealistic. It left me with a few miles. Zero room for any winter temperatures. I told him the next day that it was not going to work, and had it been the extended range battery, it would be better. He left the room and said he would cancel the deal unless it had funded. He got on his computer and told me that it had in fact funded and he couldn't do anything about it. The next day I spoke with ICCU, and they informed me the deal had not funded. I went back to Chad Cindell and discussed my issue, and he showed me his computer where it said ICCU had received the documents. That does not mean the deal had funded. Then he said, "well in Idaho there's no cooling off period so, yeah." This was some of the worst business I have ever dealt with. They could have cancelled the deal. I'm a repeat customer there, well, was. I work with about 1,200 employees, and I am making sure that everybody hears the story. If you want to buy a Ford, go to another Ford dealership in the Treasure Valley. The salesman was alright, nice kid. He didn't know better. I understand contracts fully, but I also understand doing the right thing and I took Corwin's word on the quality. Huge mistake. Never happening again. I have been looking for a Toyota Rav4. I found one I was interested in and it said to call for pricing. I talked to Victor and he said I should come in and take a look at it made arrangements to come in. in the meantime, Victor sent me a text asking me to bring the title to my current vehicle. I did not plan on trading that car in. So I ignored it the next day I got a reminder text about coming in and he set my appointment for 2 o'clock when I arrived he was busy with another customer so we looked at what was available and it was not the car that I had planned on looking at. We test drove a similar car. and then looked at the car that I wanted to see. Victor was super pushy went with us on the test drive never gave us alone time to talk and at the end of the test drive basically tried to sell us a 2021 RAV4 for the original purchase price. Victor also tried to get me to sign a document And then I asked if this document was he said oh you're purchasing your Roth for this price. I had told him several times that I wanted the background information on this vehicle, as well as to have my mechanic check it out. I almost bought a vehicle I did not intend to. When I called to complain about the shady practice, the sales manager quoted me a price That supposedly I had been given for out the door. I take my Bronco into the Service department for all its maintenance and any recalls. I've also worked with after market accessories team. Every experience has been great! Their Finance team is the only car dealership I know that tries to be competitive with USAA - they couldn't beat the rate once but another time they did. I always try to work with John or Luis if they're available! Disclaimer: I've had two family members work at Corwin some point or another. I was due for a service on my F150 and also had a wheel noise that seemed to be getting louder. Initially I thought it was tire noise from the new tires I had just had installed. I called Corwin and scheduled an appointment. The first opening was on Monday, three days out and was fine for me. They gave me a drop off time and it was quick and easy, taking less than 10 minutes. On Tuesday I received a call that all the work was complete and the truck was ready for pickup. I was out of town and told them I would pick it up on Friday and they said that was no problem. I arrived on Friday afternoon and pickup was very quick and easy. I was a little shocked at the price. I haven't had more than the standard service done in a number of years and I'm sure that "Bidenflation" is to blame for the shocking increase in cost. BUYER BEWARE!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! The salesman tried to bilk me for an anti-theft locating device and a flashing 3rd brake light accessory for $600 on my 2024 F250 purchase. This was not included in the advertised price but was already installed!!! I initially agreed because I wanted to have the deal done that evening. Since that didn't happen, I cancelled the $600 expense the next morning. I later found out that the vehicle comes standard with FORD PASS which includes a free anti-theft locating system in case the vehicle is stolen. I also found out that I could buy the 3rd brake light accessory unit on Amazon for $15. I asked the salesman what the interest rate was with FORD MOTOR CREDIT. He told me he didn't know (Serious???). I asked the finance guy what the interest rate was and was told that he couldn't tell me until I had signed all the paperwork. I later found out that they had run 3 separate credit reports on me! The finance guy rushed me through signing a ton of documents on a tablet that had very small fine print. After I signed them, I asked to see a breakdown of what I was financing. The printed finance sheet showed me paying $15,000 more than the advertised price of the vehicle! When I complained he apologized for the mistake and fixed the problem. It was only then that I learned that I was paying 8.19% interest. FORD MOTOR CREDIT offers 6.0%. His explanation was that it was higher because it was a business loan. If I had been told that upfront, I would have put the vehicle in my personal name as I am the sole owner of my business. If I hadn't looked carefully at the contract, I would have been paying $15k more for the vehicle and there would have been nothing I could have done about it since I had signed the contract. I was a licensed used car dealer for over 20 years, so I know how things should work. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

I received a text from one of the sales associates to come down so they can see the car. I went there, they test drove it for about 20 minutes, which was a little long in my opinion. They came back with a offer that was $3600 lower than the original offer. I said no way so the guy goes back and comes back with another offer barely above their first. DO NOT GET A VEHICLE HERE!!! they gave me 10k for my trade in and put me into a less used truck but here's the catch. My salesman Robert told me the truck had been mechanically gone through and there were no issues he also told me I could take it back if I found any issues and they'd take care of it. I got the truck and immediately had brake problems and tail light issues and the transmission shifts hard. They told me there was no way they'd sell a vehicle in that condition so they told me to bring it in so I did and guess what everything I told them was wrong was indeed wrong and they fought me tooth and nail about fixing warped front rotors and 6mm of brake pad left which is below legal standards of a safe vehicle to sell. I ended up paying them 150 bucks anyways to fix their issues. The service advisor told me my truck doesn't shift rough and they reset the computer and it shifts good now. No it does not. Still shifts hard and was told there was no issue. They then fought me tooth and nail to give me a detail that they owed me since it hadn't been detailed before they sold me the truck. The salesman are liars and the service department are crooks. I wouldn't never recommend this place to any friends or family or stranger ever again. They sell you a 24 thousand dollar vehicle just so you can spend thousands more fixing their broken vehicles they sell you. read more
