We had our indicated it was time for a check up. We called and made an appointment fairly quickly. Dropping the car off was an easy process. It took them about an hour to call us to let us know our car was ready to be picked up. They even sent an email that attached a video of the check up underneath the car. WARNING Called to test drive a used car. They agreed I could take car to my mechanic for inspection. Was transferred to MIKE in SALES. Mike said they require insurance and license. I sent both. Mike in sales called back saying they will not allow inspection by my mechanic... Seems fishy. I checked with friends and they said Corwin Toyota is on their list of places to avoid. This is a nice Toyota dealership. It has a huge garage with climate control door . It would be very nice for the winter when it has snow storm outside . We come her for oil change and general maintenance. The guest lounger is very nice . It is roomy and have all the features like TV , charming station , sofa , coffee machine that has Coofee beans inside . It is freshly grounded when you order the coffee . A snack bar with cookies , granola bars , etc and all different types of coffee you like , the machine can make it as you place the orders . Most impressive is their children playhouse area . It is decorated with a tiny farm house , with a little hill and creek and many of the wild animals displays ( fox , turkey , raccoon, wolf , Canadian goose & beaver , etc ) ! I really appreciate the convenience that is offered by the Service Department of Corwin Toyota. They are almost always able to get vehicles scheduled for same day service especially for oil and filter. Service area is spacious and clean, staff is friendly. Waiting area has tables and chairs, televisions, free snacks and a small kids play area. Very nice. Corwin is also very good at sending you updates via text message as to the status of your vehicle. This includes a video from your service technician detailing other things that they have found during their multi-point inspection that may require attention. The quality of service has been good overall. The one thing that I will say is a drawback is that for major items, the location trends towards the high side when it comes to pricing. If you are having major work done to your car, you should price it out with other mechanics as well. I have found that I can get certain services for 25-35% cheaper at other locations. One caveat - I have access to.the auto hobby shop at Offutt AFB which has certified mechanics and I can get the work done more much inexpensively there. If you don't have that option, you should still get a second estimate. Otherwise, I have been pleased with my experience at Corwin over multiple occasions. read more

Took only about a hour , tire rotation, oil/filter ,changed both air filters! Service rep was very pleasant and kept me up to date on where the mechanic was with my car. Sent a video to my phone to show mechanic working on my car and I received a personal message from mechanic with suggestions of a oil additive! Needed Alignment, but will get later since filters were so costly! Great place to sit and wait! Tea,coffee, water and cracker snacks! Big TVs and lots of plug in. Clean Bathroom! I rated it four stars because they are nice, especially compared to the La Vista location, and have a relaxed big area with comfy chairs, an assortment of drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice for kids (or adults), water), and snacks. They took a video and explained a few things, along with an email of the work they recommended. It's a dealership and you have to assume they will cost more than a mechanic elsewhere. They didn't try to convince me what needed to be done but did ask if I had any questions with the recommendations. They also washed my car after completing my free 25,000 mile service. read more

This is my first time here and have to say the the location is impressive. Visually it is a next level experience. From a customer service standpoint, I believe there is an opportunity for improvement hence the 3 star rating. We dropped off our van for a scheduled Saturday morning oil change. When we left still blown away by the facility we called to ask if they would clean the car. Reception transferred my wife to see the service department and no one picked up. We figured it would be done as it was one of the announcements on their flyer "on site carwash" however when we arrived it was not done. We also walked into the service department and the two reps right at the door seemed completely unconcerned with a family walking in. About 2 min later a rep sitting at another table greeted us. Turns out the car was not cleaned because this was only done at the customers request. The rep we spoke with explained that there were customers that didn't want their cars cleaned. I gave some feedback re making it an intake question and asked to have it cleaned which they did. He even gave us an extra wash voucher. Though there are some kinks to work out Toyota of Bellevue has lots of potential. We will be back and I will update my review. Greet your customers when the walk in the door it makes us feel welcome. I am surprised to see so many 2 star ratings. My visit was pleasant. The waiting area was spacious with plenty of space to spread out. There were many outlets, which was great for me to get work done during my wait. The WIFI connection was strong. I did have to wait over an hour for basic car work despite coming early to my appointment, but I did receive multiple updates on my car service. My customer experience was satisfactory. I only had basic work done on the car. I admit that it was more pricey than typical, but not outrageous. The comfort of the waiting area did make up for the price and wait in my opinion. I would come back, but I don't fault others for seeking a second opinion if they need more extensive work done on their cars. read more

Less then stellar service visit. Horrible un-empathetic assistant service manager. Had my 2017 Tacoma timing chain cover resealed under power train warranty. $3500 out of pocket job. got truck back next day i noticed all the pictures wrong not but back together to broken on my truck. Took it back they did fix everything and i asked the faulty techs team lead or shop foreman to look it over with him was there for 2 hours for this. service manger did apologize 1-2 times nothing from service writer or technician. service manager offered my nothing was just going to send me on my way i ask him for something for my time, he said "oh yeah oil change" i declined since they just did one and i had oil at home. Next day he gives me $50 parts credit after "thinking about it" 2-3 days after this i get further under truck monitor to make sure timing cover or anything else is leaking stuff happens. i notice a broken bolt on my oil pan which is part of that job. Bring it in at 315pm one day after they said over phone yeah bring it in we'll look at it. get there they don't have time that day. reschedule bring back another day for drop off and loaner. Pick up next day and same thing no apologies and no offer of anything i ask again for something for my lost time and gas and lying about the bolt. He says "yeah we just filled your tank" i said i filled it day before coming here so thats like $4-7 dollars. He walked away will smirking and said "i think we've done enough for you already" Biggest slime ball I've ever dealt with. Don't not have your car served here do not by a vehicle from here. if you have had your car here recently look it over or have another dealer or ToyoTechs here in Omaha for Piece of mind. We were on a family vacation from Chicago to Yellowstone in early June. Nearing Omaha in our 2009 Sienna, the check engine light, along with a couple other lights came on. We chose to continue the 40 miles to the nearest Toyota dealership to have it serviced. As it was Sunday, we elected to leave it at the dealership with a written explanation of the problem and continue the trip in a rental car. We were in a pickle! The next day, I was notified by text from the dealership that the problem was severe (The timing belt and associated parts potentially needed replacement) and was estimated to cost $6800 to have it fixed. I was shocked for two reason: Number one, the price, and two, the fact that no one reached out to me in person to discuss this huge financial decision. I decided to decline their recommended service and had the vehicle towed to Omaha Car Care to get a second opinion. Within hours of receiving the car, Jeremy at OCC called me and explained that they had checked the car out and found that it was low on oil. They serviced the oil and all of the codes cleared. It was FIXED and I paid $120, which saved me $6680! We returned from our trip, picked up our minivan and drove 450 miles to Chicago. It ran like new with no problems! I am not sure if they were trying to use my situation to force me into buying a new car, but I was the terribly disheartened to have a company that I have always been such a huge fan of, seemingly turn their back on me. Whether this was gross technical incompetence or out-of-control greed, in my opinion it was dishonest and unprofessional business practice. I recently took my car to Corwin in Bellevue to have the airbags fixed. Toyota had issued a recall because the airbags had a problem. Someone from Corwin called me and I was able to get an appointment the next day. Corwin is always very organized and wait time is spent in a spacious, nicely appointed waiting area with complimentary drinks and snacks. The work was done efficiently and my washed car was waiting in a reasonable amount of time. So why the 2 stars you are wondering. All the customers i saw in the waiting area were protecting each other and employees by wearing face coverings. Not so the employees. Corwin is a huge space with lots of employees. Most of the employees I saw wandering around the waiting area were not protecting themselves and customers by wearing masks. They were strolling in twos and threes chatting with each other. One maskless employee coughed repeated as he cruised the waiting area. People sitting at desks in the service area quickly put on masks when customers approached, but then took them off. For a place that supposedly has good service, being careful of everyone's health should be important. Not cool, Corwin. read more

When I moved to Omaha, I came to Corwin because they currently had the specific used vehicle I was looking for. I came in, as a lone female, which I believe caused me to be exploited and taken advantage of from the get go. The vehicle I was looking at was used and currently having some replacements made to it before being sold (such as new brakes, new tires, and a windshield replacement). I was told that the vehicle had a 12 point inspection, and was given a packet explaining everything verified on the vehicle. I also bought an extended warranty, through Corwin, at this time. Within 60 days of owning the vehicle I left to visit family for Thanksgiving and upon taking the vehicle over 60mph for the first time, the engine malfunctioned and stalled. Since it was a weekend, I had to pay out of pocket for the tow to Corwin and arrange my own transportation to my family Thanksgiving. Corwin then informed me that they could not replace the engine but would rebuild it. **I did not know at this time that Hyundai offered a manufactures replacement of the engine due to a factory recall. Corwin "rebuilding" my engine billed my extended warranty boughten through them, and prevented me from being able to claim reimbursement for the rebuild from Hyundai, while also exceeding my insurance policy and voiding any future work done by Corwin.*** Corwin then had my vehicle for over three months for the rebuild. When I came to pick it up, they again gave me the packet saying they've checked everything and vehicle is in perfect condition. Without leaving the parking lot my check engine light was on, again. They immediately check it out and determine my turbo needed replaced. **Weird how such a major issue needs replaced after having been worked and inspected by them for over three months*** It takes approximately another 1.5 months for the turbo replacement. I pick up vehicle, get another packet of car being in "perfect" shape and leave. Next day check engine light comes on again. A vacuum line was not secured. Picked it up again. Check engine light again. A sensor wasn't properly replaced. Picked it up again. Check engine light again. Boost pressure sensor was not replaced. This was the real kicker. This part connects to the engine for the turbo. Both aspects of work they did on my car and was under warranty. They tried to bill me for this issue. Almost $400. I advocated the issue for two weeks before I was able to speak to a service manager and had the issue fixed. I have dealt with, tried to be patient with, and tried to find grace for Corwin. Yet after a year of dealing with a dishonest sale (selling me a car with a current recall, without my knowing) billing their insurance for work that was free from Hyundai, trying to charge me for faulty work on their part, then continually having issues from the work they did. OK, my in-laws gave us a 1994 Toyota Camry, that don't use anymore, for my daughter who just received her driver's license. A great first car! Oddly enough, the passenger seatbelt clasp wouldn't buckle. Unless everyone were to ride in the back seat, this seatbelt issue wasn't acceptable plus quite annoying. Since we don't have any Toyotas in our family, I did some research and found Corwin. I contacted the parts department and they asked for the VIN number of the vehicle so they are accurate with the seat belt part (makes sense). The part price came to about $35. It could be worse. I had to pay for the part over the phone with a credit card which was fine with me. I was then transferred to the Service Department. I asked how long it would take to install it. Estimated time was 1-2 hours depending on the difficulty of getting the car seat out. After scheduling my appointment for two days later (they called as a reminder the day before), I showed up for the seat belt clasp swap out! I was greeted immediately by the staff in the garage area and was offered a ride to work. I decided to wait. In the customer lounge, I was welcomed with a clean waiting area and free Wi-Fi with gourmet coffee selections, juice and snacks for no charge. This was a pleasant surprise as some places are mediocre at best with half eaten donuts and a soft drink machine. I logged in to my laptop and was doing some work when my name was called saying my car was ready. Total elapsed time: 41 mins! That's right not even an hour which translates to a lower bill! This is refreshing because I thought my wait would be every bit of 2 hours as previously estimated. Not the case!! The next day, they called to see if I was satisfied with the recent service at Corwin. I would say a resounding "Yes!" I will definitely be back, Corwin. Thank you!! read more

I can see this Toyota service center is already reviewed very low and I can see why!! I'd give this place zero stars but it doesn't see to be an option. Story? 25 year old school teacher with her first new car goes in for a service check. Suddenly she gets a text reading URGENT- you need nitrogen in your tires. No one comes to talk with her to explain the service and she being a young girl and new car owner, takes the technicians at their word. She gets a $25 bill at the end which should be a free service. She questions it - knowing her service is still under warranty- and they say - well you authorized it! Then have the gall to tell her to give them 5 stars when emailed with a service survey to fill out! And why yes she did authorize it, she was trusting and was taken advantage of. They prey on young, woman, and those who they can hoodwink into getting unnecessary services. Not a lot of $ to many people but it is on her budget and salary!!! And it's the pint of them taking advantage of peoples lack of knowledge in this area! Coincidentally, their fellow Toyota dealership in Omaha doesn't even carry the nitrogen that this dealership said she urgently needed because they say it's unnecessary!! They said they stand by their charge and don't care if they get low feedback!! How horrible!! That the $25 is worth the bad press to them! DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS HERE!! I have been going to Corwin for service on my vehicles for about 2 years and never had any issues until I went in earlier this month. I was misquoted a price on a service and then I was told that the service that I had paid for 2 weeks prior on my wife's truck had gone up by $80 in two weeks because a new service manager decided to jack the prices up on certain services which is absolutely ridiculous. I called another Toyota dealership in Omaha and was quoted a price $230 cheaper than what Corwin quoted me for the same service. I will not be going back to Corwin until they come back to earth on their pricing for services. read more

These guys are a CRIMINAL organization. They say they do a 40-point inspection. I went to the Baxter dealership across town to have a used car I was thinking of buying checked. They found that the timing belt and spark plugs were dangerously overdue. Additionally, the rack and pinion that Corwin newly installed was poorly done. The shop even told me, if the car was mine they wouldn't let me leave the shop, because the timing belt was in such bad condition. When I got back and asked them what they found during their inspection, they lied to my face stating that the car was in excellent condition. Took my 2011 (40K miles) Avalon in for oil change a few months back. The service rep said the mechanic recommended flushing out the brakes and cleaning the fuel injectors for a total of $400. First in my 65 years never had some said you need to flush brakes unless master cylinder leaked or performed a total break overhaul. For the injectors car running like a champ and getting 24 mpg mostly in town mileage. I have been using Performance and Bellevue Toyota since it first opened in Bellevue and always trusted them not to push services not needed. This is also after I took my 2000 Tundra in for a check engine light and was charged $245 for gas cap replacement - that was my fault in for forgetting the last time the light came on it was to replace the gas cap. I will be taking my business else where and recommend anyone requiring service go elsewhere. read more

The power window went out, and the man in service that runs the place was rude and wouldn't repair because it wouldn't duplicate, needless to say I got stuck in a thunder rain storm and my car was soaked and ruined with dirty rain etc. etc... could not get it dried out right and it had a bad smell after that... Every time I went to that service they were rude rude rude.. I even involved the general manager (who never returned my calls) and still BAD BAD BAD service.. DON'T, I repeat, DO NOT take your vehicle to this service department. It is one of the most DISHONEST and unfairly priced mechanics I have ever came across. They claimed I needed a $300 "fit kit" (parts and two hours of supposed labor, an "hour for each axle") to stop my brakes from squealing every time I braked in reverse. First of all, THEY put the new brakes on days before my purchase of the vehicle. It was actually a selling point for us. The car started squeaking about a week after. I called, and they assured me it was because "they were new brakes." After two months of squealing I had enough and made an appointment. Even though they were the ones who put the ill fitting brakes on my vehicle, they would NOT admit any wrongdoing or offer any type of discount. After leaving the initial appt, my husband and I looked at each other in disgust. We took the car to two other mechanics that assured us that the "fit kit" only cost $17 at a neighborhood auto parts store and only takes approximately 15-20 minutes per axle. Needless to say- we did the job ourselves and WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with Corwin again. read more

I was negotiating to buy a brand new Toyota Highlander at several dealerships around town. Of all those I went to in the Omaha area, Corwin Toyota from Bellevue matched the best negotiated price with a knowledgeable sales guy (Rob Schimonitz). Rob took the time and walked through the various features with the different models and worked within our busy schedule without being too pushy. The facility was clean and well maintained. Another bonus, their website inventory actually matched their stock inventory. Let's be real as we are talking car sales, but compared to the other Toyota dealerships, this one was the best. I miss the old Bellevue Toyota. If I could give this Corwin location zero stars I would for their service department. Within the last year I took my vehicle in for service and they talked me into a front end alignment. I just bought the vehicle & hadn't driven it more than a year (and I don't go off-roading) but whatever, I didn't think I needed it but agreed to it. When it was time to check out I asked to see the read sheet so I could see how far the alignment was off. Big surprise, they couldn't find or generate a read sheet. They ended up not charging me the $100 for the alignment (how kind of them since I knew they hadn't done it!). Fast forward six months or so and I went in for an oil change & tire rotation. Prior to my appointment I had accidentally curbed both my passenger side tires (I noticed them when I washed my car & my son made fun of me)...so I knew my tires were marked. After my appointment I left & when I got home I noticed that the same tires on the same side were still marked the same way. They never rotated my tires!! They charged me $20 for it but surprisingly the service advisor had taken my $10 off coupon & doubled it so I could get $20 off. I thought it was nice of him but now it infuriates me....realizing what they had done. Plus they never topped off my fluids like they said was part of the oil change service. I know, I checked. My windshield washer fluid reservoir was half full. Don't go here for service, they will rip you off but if you do....please beware! I am going to another Toyota dealership from now on. I took my 06 Toyota Sienna in due to not being able to shift out of park and having several lights not working. Left it overnight, next day they called and said to diagnosis it would be $115, and would not be applied to any work done. they said it had a dead battery and I needed to buy a new one, about $90. It was starting Fine when I left it! So I would spend $200 and not have started on problem I brought it in for. I declined the work, left the shop and discovered that the throttle pedal sensor was not working properly, could only go about 3-5 mph. THIS WAS working when I brought in! I took it to another shop they said someone probably tried to jump start it, cross the wires and caused this problem. Also he said I needed an alternator NOT a battery. I still have the same battery in it and it starts just fine!. Toyota probably would have said I needed an alternator AND a battery. So the car came in with a few problems and left with MORE problems! The other shop fixed the "park problems", I needed a new brake pedal stop, that is a device when you step on the brake allows the car to start and he fixed the electrical problems. I called back to Toyota and said some of these problems came up when I left car at your shop, stated you have a choice provide some compensation, free oil change, or leave me with a bitter taste in my mouth, they made the choice to leave bitter taste in my mouth. read more

If I could give this dealership a lower rating, I would! I had faithfully taken my 4Runner to them for just over 2 years. In 2012 thru early 2013, the service department was awesome. This past year or so, that changed. My first incident was about an oil change/tire rotation. If waiting 2 & 1/2 hrs was not bad enough, there was the confusion on what I wanted accomplished. I requested "synthetic oil" both when I made the appointment, and when I turned my keys over to the service manager (my file, if they had looked at it, would show I always get synthetic). When it was all said and done, they had put in regular oil. Now the manager did re-accomplish the oil change, but at a cost of another 45 minute wait and a guilt trip about how I'm making them run behind. I got into my SUV and wow, greasy fingerprints, dust & dirt...and my change in the ashtray was gone lol...not at all the way it came in. I left it go that time. The second visit I had purchased new tires and brought it in for the shop to balance and install. The service manager talked me into an alignment. I had not done one in years, but there was no reason to...SUV drove like a champ in all weather & roads, no signs of uneven wearing on tires, no shimmy or shake, etc...but I'm not a Toyota expert, so I agreed to it. I left my vehicle for the day (they did provide me a ride to work, but the poor young man that took me had to use his own car! eeks!). When I picked up my SUV and drove off the lot, I knew there was something wrong with the steering. I called and left a message about it and the service manager acted "surprised" stating he had his best guy on the job. Really? I'd hate to see the worse! So I took it back 3 days later and they attempted to fix the issue, but made it worse! The tech said as we took a test drive that it must be the road or the wind making it drift to the right. Oh my, even I know that's a line of sh*t. I called to speak to the manager, and was put on with a sales man, Carlos, who promised to make it right...even offered to give me a 4WD vehicle to drive while they worked the situation...but first he needed to speak to the service manager and he'd call me back. It's been 3 days, no return call. Save your dollars and go somewhere trustworthy, some other place that takes pride in their work and cares about the customer. I ended up taking my 4Runner right down the road to the Midas shop...after I had read tons of raving reviews...and you know what, 45 minutes later they had fixed my alignment (which by the way was all screwed up!), and I left feeling like I had just made new friends.
