We got an estimate from them, and they were, by far, the most reasonably priced. We talked with Chaz, who understood my concern for the well-being and longevity of my "Mom's tree"...a gift to me from my sons. Chaz, Swayze and the red-haired arborist (I am so sorry, I forgot his name) didn't scoff at me or try to milk my bank account because of my sentimentality. These folks did an AMAZING job of carefully trimming down our apple tree, bringing it "up", cleaning up the suckers, AND, also trimming up some of our silver maple tree, including taking off a broken branch. These folks also cleaned up my entire yard: branches, sticks, twigs, and fallen apples. A FABULOUS crew, sooooo professional and trustworthy! I am sincerely appreciative and I absolutely recommend them for tree care, maintenance and upkeep. I will be calling them again. ps--they are ISA certified (International Society of Arboriculture)

I explained I had a leaking irrigation supply valve and wanted to get it fixed fast due to hot weather. Johnathan came by for estimate on Tuesday. He noticed the PVB was very old and valves rusted so that needed to be replaced also, but it could wait. I said I only want to cry once! So added that. I had an estimate later that evening and it was quite reasonable. I had mentioned I wanted an estimate for another little job and he said he would throw that in as a courtesy! Awesome! I accepted the quote and they came out that very Friday, dug a huge hole, replaced all the plumbing with commercial quality parts including the PVB, filled in and leveled, and had it all up and ready to go by 4PM! Glue needed to dry overnight, so next day fired it up and all good! Very pleased with the work and the quick response. They take Zelle and checks so none of this cash only thing so many contractors want to do. They handle lots of different services so I'm sure I'll be using them again soon!

Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. We hired Corys Landscaping to keep our front yard maintained. A very small area of grass to cut. we had some tall weeds growing in the rock area that would have taken about 1 minute to knock down with a weed whacker. i sent them photos of these weeds on aug 8th last year asking why they werent taken down. they reply with wanting us to sign up to aeration and re-seeding. no mention of the weeds. i stopped service because these weeds growing were part of the reason we needed service. they say they never received the email i sent on aug 8th with the photos. but they replied on aug 10th. she claims " im looking in my emails and dont see it." saying i never sent the email. even when she had replied on aug 10th. because i had stopped service they are claiming i owe $50. and that they are going to send it to collections. then she starts to say weeds cost extra. maintenance of a yard is cut, weed, edge, blow off. incase they are reading this and need to know how it works. she is now saying that it would have cost extra to deal with weeds. after she said she never received the email that i sent on aug 8th and she replied to on Aug 10th. i would just say dont expect a professional job on your lawn from these people. nicole was adamant about "im looking and dont see any email from you with photos. I am attaching the actual photos of the weeds i sent them last aug 8th. how can any landscape maintenance drive away from a yard with these huge weeds right in their faces and think, ok, we did a good job here, the yard looks great. they cut the grass multiple times and drove away with these weeds still standing. these weeds actually grew taller in the time they were "maintaining" our yard. even after the email they say they "never received" was sent to and replied by them. I actually kept paying them while the weeds got taller thinking that the email that i sent on aug 8th with photos and they replied to me on aug 10th would have had them take the extra 60-90 seconds to weed whack them, i thought as a former landscaper they would be embarrassed that a yard they "maintain" and "represent" looked like this and it would have been handled. But nope, corys landscape truck pulled up. cut the grass in about 5 minutes, put the mower in the truck and drove away. i watch them drive away, i look at the weeds still there. I cancel the service, and get non stop calls about $50 and sending me to collections. read more

I just moved to Reno from CA. I interviewed a couple other yard services but they could not compare to Cory's! they were the most affordable and willing to do every two weeks as I wanted to keep cost down. My last yard guy in Ca charged me the same for for a small yard and my yard never looked nice and he never gave me al the info that this yard service provides me. I have never been so informed and have learned so much about yards and I have only been here for 3 months. The emails they send out and the reminders are the best ever especially if you are like me and know nothing about yards at all or about living where it gets cold enough for pipes to freeze! Without their emails i would have never known about all the problems that could happen without the necessary preparations needed to be done before winter. Thanks to them my yard looks amazing and they let you know about everything that needs to be done in spring, winter, and yearly suggestions without making you feel obligated or pressured. they are honest and Nicole is the greatest in customer service i have ever worked with even with all my annoying concerns and calls she is amazing and gets back to you sooner than I even expect! SPARKS, NEVADA: We started with Cory's Lawn Service this year in May 2021. Our lawn was in much need of repair. We chose the full service including the fertilization, aeration, and the TRICUR which is a process used by golf courses that helps the lawn to maintain its moisture balance and helps with dry spots. We also selected the yard clean up which I highly recommend for Spring and Fall. They came out and gave us a fair and equitable quote. They did a very good job and the team takes away the mess!. So, here is what I am saying: In 2 months my lawn is NOW is looking decent. In quick time I feel they brought our lawn up to a standard to be proud of and their bi-weekly mows give my husband a break. I highly recommend this service because I feel they are fair and priced reasonable. They do not bind you into a contract. If you do not want service on a given day-you just tell them and they remove it or reschedule to accommodate your life. We had Cory's team come out for a general yard cleanup, after we had a super busy year at work and completely let the yard go. We had tons of overgrown weeds. All of our rocks had been shuffled out of place, and the yard just looked awful. They came out super quick to perform a free estimate... And scheduled us for half a day of work the following week. They came out at the time they agreed upon, and the work performance far exceeded our expectations. When I got home later that day, I thought I had walked into a model home. That's how great our yard looked. We will be hiring them for regular quarterly maintenance moving forward. Also, the cost estimate that was provided to us was several hundred dollars less than what we were expecting and was also the most cost-effective quote out of four other companies that we had received estimates from. First contact are Nichole and Dana, office staff. They are both receptive, professional and friendly. The assigned crew are professional, reliable, friendly and helpful. My contact with the owner, Cory, has been limited but I can recount a story of having a sprinkler problem that the normal crew were not able to address in an immediate manner. Since my back surgery, I haven't been able to keep up on the lawn, property weeds and bushes. It all was way overgrown and just a mess. Corey's Lawn Service came out within 48hrs to do an estimate and then just a few weeks later, was able to get my property back in shape! They pulled, yes PULLED, every weed (others have only cut them) and got everything cleaned up - even the spider webs around the house!!! We have used Cory's Lawn Service for many years now and although they are primarily taking care of our mow-strip, they are also great at preforming the spring and fall yard cleanups. My husband doesn't need to be climbing around to cut bushes and Cory's men take great care to remove all debris and leave our yard looking great for the season. Cory always responds to my emails promptly and makes me feel like a important customer even though our needs are small. We have used Cory for a number of years and have always been very satisfied with their bi-weekly service, semi-annual clean ups and snow removal. This last service this week was incredible. Didn't realize what good service was till I didn't live there anymore. This place always went above and beyond for me and kept me up to date on services available. Never had to worry about the yard. Saved me a few time in the snow too, when my machine was down. So great to be able to communicate my wants and have them understood. Now in Seattle, dealing with crews that show up when they want, charge a lot more and don't clean up like these guys did. I wish you'd move your company up here! read more

I explained I had a leaking irrigation supply valve and wanted to get it fixed fast due to hot weather. Johnathan came by for estimate on Tuesday. He noticed the PVB was very old and valves rusted so that needed to be replaced also, but it could wait. I said I only want to cry once! So added that. I had an estimate later that evening and it was quite reasonable. I had mentioned I wanted an estimate for another little job and he said he would throw that in as a courtesy! Awesome! I accepted the quote and they came out that very Friday, dug a huge hole, replaced all the plumbing with commercial quality parts including the PVB, filled in and leveled, and had it all up and ready to go by 4PM! Glue needed to dry overnight, so next day fired it up and all good! Very pleased with the work and the quick response. They take Zelle and checks so none of this cash only thing so many contractors want to do. They handle lots of different services so I'm sure I'll be using them again soon!

They dug trenches for the irrigation but left hundreds of large rocks in the dirt and then laid sod right on top of that. They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. He knows he did a cheap crappy job and now he just wants to hide from me. Stay away from this 'company'.
