La comida se demora un poco pero definitivamente vale la pena. El risotto de champiñones es una experiencia religiosa.

It's hard to say anything bad about this place!…read more The line is long, but it's full of excitement and gawking at everyone's gelato and seeing their faces when they take their first taste. Also, the line moves pretty quickly. At $7.19 for the regular (two flavors), it's not cheap (PR McDonald's vanilla ice cream cone is $0.99 for comparison!), but it's definitely worth doing (at least) once. The flavors are all extremely unique and it's a mystery what may be in a specific flavor (e.g. Pavlova and mixed berries), but you can try to your heart's content for free. In the end, I doubt there is a "bad" flavor. My favorites were cookieman (like Oreo cookies in a vanilla base) and chocolate cookie. Pistachio was good, but a taster would have sufficed. Sadly, they did not have a mint and chip!

Very cute interior, clearly well thought out and designed to be a photo/insta location. The colors and decor all flowed well. But beyond that, they have wonderful flavors! We tried about 7 in our group and they were all good. Tasted high quality and you could distinguish what the flavor was supposed to be. Fresh made on site I would guess. The order process is a little difficult w use they have so many flavors spread out over about 15 feet of displays. Hard to pick what you want without running back and forth to see if you would miss anything! The seating areas were nice and had lots of seating. Disappointed to see that the bathroom was out of order and just had an envelope with a handwritten message on it. Really took away from the experience. But would enjoy again!

AMBIANCE Parking: Old San Juan rules--come early or be ready to walk. Seating: Multiple seating areas for individuals and small groups but it's also a cafe too so there is seating in the back too. Vibes: Clean, modern café with a mix of locals and tourists. You can tell people come here for the coffee, not just to pass through. It leans more intentional and coffee-focused rather than just aesthetic--which I appreciated. FOOD / DRINKS Coquito Frap (Recommend) When in Puerto Rico, Coquito. Creamy, coconut-forward, and lightly spiced--like a frozen coquito with a coffee twist. Sweet, smooth, and definitely more of a dessert drink than a regular latte. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Even with a crowd, things moved quickly. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Solid spot. Great drink options at a reasonable price. They know what they're doing. Whether you're a coffee person or just need a reset, this place delivers. Salute to the Munoz family for sharing their coffee to the world! TIPS * Try their house coffee if you want the full experience--that's what they're known for.

We loved it so much we actually went twice during our trip - and even made a final stop before heading to the airport to go home. On our first visit, Hector (the roaster) happened to be there, which made the experience feel even more special. The staff overall were all so kind and attentive. The coffee is absolutely excellent - velvety smooth, rich, and delicious. I could easily drink more than one cup. I had a latte, and my husband had a macchiato, and both were great. They have a cute little outdoor atrium seating area, but we preferred indoors where all the comfy pillow seating was. Just a note - they don't offer decaf - but for regular coffee drinkers, it's a must-visit. Such a gem in Old San Juan!

First--rolled ice cream is basically edible entertainment. I stood there way longer than necessary watching them flatten, scrape, and roll it like I had nowhere else to be. It's giving Food Network... but you get to eat the finale. The flavors? BANGING. Super creamy, fresh, and not overly sweet--which means you can actually finish it without feeling like you need to lie down immediately after. Big win. The vibe is adorable--very vintage, colorful, and just a fun little spot to duck into and cool off. Definitely one of those places you end up taking pictures in without planning to. Service was adequate--nothing over-the-top, but they kept things moving and got us through the line without any issues, even when it was busy. Place looked clean, which matters when people are basically performing dairy gymnastics in front of you. Overall: great treat, fun experience, and absolutely worth the stop. Would I go back? Yes--for the ice cream... and to watch the rolling again like it's my new personality.

The wait wasn't too long, but the process of making one of these ice sheets takes a good 5 minutes, so there's some patience involved as they only took one order at a time. We did a custom roll ($10) with Oreo, coconut, and pineapple. It somehow ended up tasting like red bean, which I'm not complaining! Very refreshing and enjoyed every bite of it.
