This is my favorite grocery store in all of the Northland. From their selection, to stocking, to the new pickup/delivery option. Their produce is always excellent. My only quarrel with this location is how much everyone here must love Cool Blue Gatorade as much as I do The employees at this location are always helpful and knowledgeable. My oldest daughter already has a college degree and has a real job. I know this doesn't sound like it's relevant but it is. When I met her Mom, she worked in the bakery of this grocery store. Since then, like my daughter, Liberty has grown a lot. There are now three (count them, 3!) grocery stores in the Liberty area. I'd just written a review on one of the other two and was on "the other side of town", needed a few things (wine), and thought I'd stop in for the first time in years. Since I've gotten used to the larger, mega-stores with enormous health food sections and way more things than we need to choose from, I had really low expectations. Funny thing is, yeah, it's the old school grocery store sans health food market and coffee kiosk but they've done a nice job with the space and it was apparent that the Cosentino family business has continued to invest in this location. The decor was modern, the appliances were new, the store was clean and strangely open. It was almost comfortable even. Next time I'm "over there", I won't be so against going the extra distance to one of the other two stores in town. read more

Many local businesses complain they cannot keep up with Amazon and WalMart. I can explain WHY they are unable to compete. NO or POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Every time I go into the store, I end up disappointed. There seems to be plenty of staff in the store...they just don't help the customer. Today, I was attempting to get 4 cases of bottled water from the display and on the bottom of my cart. One of the male employees stopped stocking groceries to WATCH me. I said, "It is hard to get these on the bottom of the cart." Thinking that he would offer to assist. His reply: "Looks like you managed." The young man that bagged my groceries was bagging quite a few items in those flimsy sacks. I had several bottles of Gatorade and mentioned that one of the sack had already broken. He totally ignored me and kept sacking. NO ONE offered to help me out with my cart that was overflowing with groceries. I stopped by customer service to inquire when they had discontinued carry out? The lady replied, "We ALWAYS offer it to customers that have four bags or more." I said, "Do you see my cart?" She said, "We will try to find someone to help you." Obviously, she completely missed the point. This was a PERFECT time to train the employee who did not offer to help me with the car groceries. The manager should have paged the young man to the Customer Service area and explained that the store policy is to "offer to carry out the groceries if the customer has 4 bags or more." And then tell him that he needed to help me out with my groceries. While the manager on duty was nice enough and offered to rebag the Gatorade, in the bag that broke open. She was completely clueless WHY I went to customer service in the first place. It seems like there wasn't an employee in the store that had an IQ above 40. If Consentino's is employing mentally challenged workers, I think that is great, however, the customer needs to be made AWARE so they can help clue the workers to provide the CUSTOMER SERVICE they need. I am done trying to "shop local". Amazon provides me with OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERY.TIME. read more

First time to order online groceries and delivery. I will not do it again. Some car pulled in our drive, two ladies for our and opened their trunk, I was like what in the world are these people doing! Well it was our grocery order. In there trunk! So unprofessional! They could have had chemicals in there trunk, how dirty was there trunk? Who knows just didn't seem like a very good idea to have unmarked car delivering your groceries! Never again! Price Chopper has a good weekly circular, and they often have really good deals that draw me in. They do a good job of keeping the shelves stocked with in-demand items. Their deli counter has a lot of freshly made sides sand their fried chicken is good for potlucks and picnics. They don't have an extensive offering of organic items, but they do seem to be expanding their selection to include more organic and health-focused brands. read more

If you can go to the price chopper on N Ash just a few minutes away. This one is filthy and stinks, constantly bugs in the produce, a good majority of the fruit has mold, and about half of the staff are very rude. Either they want to complain that they're working, not get out of your way and get upset if you're in their way, and a lot of rude attitude. Most of those type of workers are working on the weekends. Even if you're super nice and trying to make fun conversations with them some just will be rude for no reason. Avoid Karen C if you have a lot of groceries and alcohol, she'll get irritated at you. What is going on with the smell?! It's terrible. You walk in the door and you're hit with the overwhelming odor of urine. Initially, I attributed the smell to an older gentleman who was sitting on the bench by the entry, who had sadly but obviously soiled himself. As I continued through the store, I quickly realized that was not the case. I was in the store two separate weekends, and the smell was there both times. What is it, and does it affect the products in any way? I don't think I want to find out, so I'll drive a bit further from now on to avoid it. read more

Went to Price Chopper at this location to use the gift card my husband received. Each year he gets one from his work and we always go to PC to get a visa gift card to use to get some last minute Christmas shopping done so it's always been nice. We have done this every year for the last 5 years and never had any issues until this year. I go up to the lady at the customer service and ask her for one if the Visa gift cards. She then tells me that they're not allowed to use gift cards to purchase visa gift cards. I asked if that was a new rule and she rudely just said no just that "maybe some people didn't know they couldn't do that." which confused me as to why it was a big deal. I told her I've done it numerous times and have had no issues and she then asks another coworker who says very rudely well are you employee or customer and said no I didn't work there and that my husband received it from his boss at work and she goes yeah an employee can't use it and just walks away from me. I tell her that my husband doesn't work for price chopper and that it was his boss who just gave it to him. She once again says " well if his work gave it to him we can't let you use it to buy a visa" and walks to the back area and doesn't talk to me anymore. I have been a long time customer of all price choppers and I have never been treated this rudely and disrespectfully. No where on the gift card does it say it can't be used for other gift cards. It only says it can't be used for cash back. I don't understand if I'm wanting to buy a product at your store what is the difference between me using the gift card to pay for groceries or to pay for a gift card, which is also a product that you sell at your store. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND RUDE EMPLOYEES. Will never be back. read more
