Excellent service! Steven came out for the original service call and saw the job through from start to finish. We bought a very nice 2 stage cooling system and feel the difference immediately. What sets ultimate comfort apart though in my opinion, is the crew. Stephen and his men were very considerate,professional and courteous. Many times you feel uncomfortable having strangers in your home, but these men were very friendly and informative. One man happened to be outside when the garbage truck came by and he pushed our trash can closer to the truck to line it up better- very considerate! Above and beyond in my book! I really appreciated how Steven walked us around to see the outdoor unit,then the attic, explained the thermostat and answered all our questions thoroughly. Ultimate Comfort came out to my mom's house because I thought I needed a second opinion. Thankfully I did because John Moore miss diagnosed the problem and wanted to charge $2624.00 to replace the compressor under warranty. I felt like that was to high and since they installed the system at my mom's house, we called them first. They told me... that was the labor charge, and it would take 2 hours. Do the math, that is $1312.00 per hour. Then I called the office to get a breakdown of this and they said we charge a flat rate for this repair. I know that included the freon and extras involved but I was told labor charge. Ultimate Comfort came out right away and started from scratch with the diagnosing and found that the capacitor was bad, not the compressor. So, they replaced it and ran tests on the rest of the system to be sure that there were no other issues. No extra problems found. House is cold and working fine. This tells me that John Moores technician could not test the capacitor properly or that I had the C-Team out at my mom's house. This also tells me that they would have replaced a part that did not need to be replaced, and in the process, throw a new capacitor on it to actually fix it. I think John Moore is just pure dishonest and trying to get away with robbing people now. I highly recommend using Ultimate Comfort (Claudio, Joseph, and rest of team) Thank you so much for the honesty and for helping my mom out in a professional timely manner. She will not be using the other company again and we will refer you to friends and family as well. read more

UPDATE! 4/1/20 - Claudio and his guys replaced our 22 year old AC without any issues. Our house is cool and efficient now. I knew once we had a problem with our old AC, we'd be calling these guys. Once again, we are happy customers. Without a doubt, the BEST service I've ever received from any type of business. My technician, Romeo, was super personable and talked me through everything. He showed me what was wrong and answered all of my questions with such a kind demeanor. He noticed my son was watching the Astros and struck up a conversation about Houston sports overall. My son couldn't stop talking after that. Romeo is a genuine human being who actually cared if my son & I had cold air for the night. Customer service on the phone was incredible as well. Such accommodating folks on the other end of the line. As for the owner? I couldn't give higher regards to someone who knows how to run a business. I have used them three times now, every single time they are the utmost professionals but more importantly every person I've met from this company is nothing but quality. Today I called them because my AC was broken and the owner Claudio personally came out to my house a little over an hour later and fixed my unit. He was also able to diagnose and fix the problem in about twenty minutes total. Also, the price was very reasonable. I met Claudio at an inspection for a client. His thoroughness was impressive. I had recently replaced the HVAC system on my home with another company, and I decided to have him come and double check to make sure all was installed properly - after seeing what he did for my client, I wanted to make sure all was ok on my home. He came back with 16-20 items that needed to be repaired or adjusted on my new system. I called the installer (who had a great review and is a well known company) and they came back and fixed all items - and were a bit embarrassed about the situation. We researched and interviewed several companies and were impressed with Dustin who was very knowledgeable and polite. The crew was led by Paulo and were very quite, respectful and efficient. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Ultimate Comfort was sent to my home by my home warranty company. From the first phone call, they showed they absolutely DID NOT CARE about me or my business. Technicians couldn't come out for days. After multiple visits, the issue still wasn't resolved, always claiming there was a new/different problem that required a new part (that of course had to be ordered and wouldn't be in for days). I finally got fed up and called another company to come out - they were at my house in an hour and after 90 minutes everything was up and running perfectly. According to their technician, it was a very basic issue - the runaround was completely unnecessary. On top of the inability to fix my AC issue, the staff was incredibly rude. Any time I would call to set up an appointment, I would be put on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes (you can check my call history). Then, I missed the call to confirm my service appointment and was left a voicemail. She obviously didn't realize my voicemail was already recording because what recorded was her conversation with another employee saying "I put off these calls and then I finally make them, no one answers. F*ck, man!" (Yes, I have the recording to prove it.) She immediately called back to leave a "professional" message, but all credibility was shot. I didn't need the recording to know I was working with someone unprofessional and uncaring - I could tell from previous interactions - but this was just concrete proof. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE. EVER. read more

I had Ultimate Comfort come out to fix my AC through my home warranty (read: I pay a flat rate). I will say that I had to call them (even though my home warranty told me they would call me to schedule the repair) AND I had to wait until Saturday for service when my AC went out on Thursday night... Why the high review then? My service technician (Julian) was prompt, replaced the broken part, did not haggle me, and, here's where it gets really good, even returned later that day to check that everything was in fact working! Background: My house was taking its sweet time cooling down after the service appt. so I became worried that there might be another issue in addition to the capacitor which he had replaced. I text him and he had me check a couple things on my own and, when it still hadn't cooled more than a couple degrees by the end of the day, he came back and ran some additional tests to ensure that I was good to go. Further tests revealed that the air coming out of the vents is a full 20 degrees cooler than the air temp so I just need to be patient with the cooling process... but he explained everything in terms I could understand and was professional/courteous throughout both visits to my home. So far in the midst of one of the worst contractor experience ever. Twice I was given a time between 1-5 and they missed the time frame by 2 hours showing up at 7 pm once with the wrong part, and now today decide not to show up at all. Worst part is they never communicated the fact that they won't be showing up nor did they bother trying to make life even a bit easier with a status update on the contractor. Multiple messages to manager were ignored. Imagine waiting in a 85 degree house with no AC for over 2 weeks. Let's see what happens tomorrow morning when "I" have to call and try and beg them to come and finish the job during a time suitable to them. I have now taken of two whole days from work sitting at home waiting for Ultimate Comfort to show up. Absolutely disappointed. read more

Hands down the BEST A/C & HEATING company I've ever dealt with! I am a realtor and my seller client's home was under contract and the AC wasn't working. The buyer's hvac contractor came out and stated the house needed a new AC unit which was going to cost $4800. It didn't make any sense as the house was less then 7 years old. I called Ultimate Comfort AC & Heating to come out and have it checked. Dustin came out and he saved the day! He found the problem very quick. The unit needed a new contactor and a new transformer. After he replaced the 2 parts the AC was cooling perfectly and it was less then $600 to fix everything!! I told Dustin I was extremely happy with his service and will be requesting him the next time anyone I know needs their AC fixed. The same day, the buyer's contractor called Dustin and degraded him for his service stating that he did not inspect everything. (Originally I called the company to come out to fix the AC not do a thorough inspection). Owner Claudio Santini gave me a call to let me know what had happened. The next day the owner himself and Stephen came out to do a whole thorough inspection on the AC unit & Heater without charge to prove that everything was good & clear. They gave us a thorough report to prove to the buyers that there was nothing else wrong with the AC unit that needed replacement. I then found out the buyer's contractor was not even a licensed HVAC contractor and it was just a way to get more $ out of my seller. Claudio's customer service was beyond amazing as he checked in and wanted to make sure we were okay and didn't get taken advantage of! My seller and I are beyond thankful for this company and their generosity in helping us! They deserve 5 stars!!! read more

These guys are awesome. I purchased a AC unit about four years ago and had a issue with the unit today. They responded within one hour and took care of the problem. Very reasonable cost in regards to other companies out there but this company service is second to none. Can't say enough things about them and their service. I see there are some negative reviews about them responding and not a timely manner. It seems like all of these reviews are from people that have home warranties. If you do have a home warranty please realize it is not the company but the home warranty that drags there feet. There ultimate goal is not to pay for your repair. We highly recommend Ultimate Comfort A/C and Heating, an award-winning American Standard company. We recently went through the process of selecting a new A/C & heating unit from among several highly regarded manufacturers. We went with Claudio Santini and his company because of his thoroughness and attention to detail. For 27 years and 2 A/C systems later, we have had problems getting enough air flow to the master bedroom. Claudio saw the problem and fixed it. We have complete confidence in the installation and appreciated his willingness to explain how the system would work and exactly what would be done to ensure the system was installed correctly and that all components worked according to specifications. We also appreciated the expedited installation several days ahead of schedule after our old system gave out. They fixed my AC in on day. When I called and asked to speak to the tech, they put me on hold for 2 min and said the tech would call me in a min. Sure enough, the guy called me right away. I had a technician come out for an evaluation of my AC system prior to the company my warranty company was sending in order to make sure I knew what was really wrong. I have read about and personally had issues with the companies my warranty provided. Ultimate Comfort gave me a great explanation of the problem, the estimated cost of repairs and what the warranty should cover. I'm glad I called them as they was very informative. read more

In fact they came in provided all license information and insurance, and made a through inspection of all air conditioning parts in our home, wrote a detailed evaluation upon our request, so we felt like we knew what our problems were and what to expect in terms of cost to repair them. Landmark was notified that my AC had gone out (for the third time) the previous evening. An AC contractor was dispatched and at 1030 on Wednesday June 17th he determined the contact board in the furnace was buggered. This also operates the AC apparently. I was told if I paid the $60 service fee then the process would be much faster. I paid it. I heard nothing on Wednesday or Thursday. The house was at 80 degrees and slightly above. The weekend weather report was predicting 93 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Friday morning I had a phone call with Ultimate AC and I was told they were searching parts warehouses for the part and best price. They'd started this hunt Thursday afternoon according to Loretta who also said Landmark couldn't find the part either. I called Landmark. Spoke with a representative who said the AC contractor had just informed them that morning of the part problem. I asked how long I supposed to live in the heat before they went to a Plan B (replace the furnace). The rep didn't know. Over the course of the day I made multiple phone calls to Ultimate AC and to Landmark. At Ultimate AC Nancy refused to put me in contact with the owner (Mr Santini) or the manager (Loretta). I was met with complete apathy and unconcern. At 3pm on Friday I insisted on a conference call between Loretta. Angelica (landmark) and myself. It appears Loretta was lying when she told me Landmark knew of the issue before Friday but I don't really know which party was lying to me. After the two hour phone call, where it was obvious to me that neither party was concerned about me living in a hot house, I finally asked Angelica to find me another contractor. At this point I'd not had a good night sleep in three nights and it was the end of the third business day of a hot house. Ultimate told me I shouldn't be complaining because I have two units. I explained, not nicely at this point, that a three story townhouse with two hot floors heats the third one up- it can't cool the house and wasn't designed to (hence the two units). This was going to get worse on Saturday when the temperature rose another 8 degrees. Loretta stated that since it was so late on Friday they couldn't get the furnace and would schedule me on next Monday or Tuesday. I got another AC contractor. Mr. Santini became available to talk with me about an hour later but it was too late. Even besides the discomfort of a hot house on people and pets the humidity starts to do damage, too, to floors and mold/mildew issues. If I'd been told Wednesday that they wouldn't be able to do anything until next Tuesday that would have been fine b/c I could have gotten another contractor on Wednesday. Instead I was allowed to sweat it out and Friday to spend close to three hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue. read more
