Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile by Maggie, their barista for the day. She was very patient and attentive as I made small talk with her, stalling as I decided what to order. I asked what the specials were, as their is a chalkboard on the counter that reads "Barista Favorites", a list of specialty custom drinks made by each individual barista. Hers was the "cinnamon toast crunch latte" consisting of their espresso beans from Colombia, brown sugar syrup, and another secret ingredient I'll have to inquire for the next time I come. It was perfectly foamed and delicious to the last drop. She even popped over to ask how I liked it, hence the 'charm of a hole-in-the-wall'. I see why this place is so loved, and definitely plan to come back again. The food is popular here as well, but I haven't tried it.
