When asking about a specific comic, you don't get a "point" in the proper direction -- they walk over to the section and hunt down your comic with you and if they don't have it, they offer alternative solutions for you. On top of the great service, they also have great prices. Most of the time they're offering lower-than-cover-price deals, which makes buying here a real treat. To me, Greg's has a real incentive to make me want to drive the extra distance past some other closer comic shops.

Set-up for free comic pick-up was easy and smooth. They allowed (3) per person, and the line moved relatively quickly. Did some Bin diving while visiting, found some books I was looking for, and picked up some new issues w/variants. They have a nice selection of current & past comics, some nice slabs and a couple $1 & discount bins. My wife picked up (4) Funko Pops (BTS) for our Daughter. One was my favorite automatic that had stopped working and they got it back in action within a few minutes of looking at it. The other watch was my dad's watch that he gave to me shortly before he passed away. They listened to me tell them a little bit about the watch and my dad, and found the problem right away. It needed a new movement. They ordered the Swiss movement and had it working perfectly within the timeframe they quoted me. The pricing was very reasonable and the service was excellent. I couldn't be happier with the service and hospitality I received from this fascinating shop. They also have a lot of interesting items for sale. Never give your business to this store. You'll be left disappointed. I called them in February…read morebefore putting in an order for the Magic the Gathering: Final Fantasy Collector Booster Box to verify that they had enough allocation and that their online listing for it was not a mistake. They told me that if it is up then they have allocation. Fast forward to June when the set releases. I had to find out via reddit that Strange Adventures said that they do not have enough allocation to fill orders and instead would do a *raffle* vs queue order. They said they would post who won the raffle the following day. This never happened. They also said if you want to get a refund on your preorder, you need to *e-mail* them (vs them initiating the refund). There's also other reports of customers getting charged post-announcement as well. I've sent an inquiry e-mail days ago with no response. Fortunately, I finally found out that I could cancel the order from the Shopify web page directly (I don't think I saw the option via app) and was able to do so there. Apparently they overestimated how many they would receive and made an Instagram post about it but never sent a refund for those who would not receive one. This could have been prevented since they didn't even release the orders yet when they found out but I still don't have a refund weeks later. Not only did my fiance not receive something he was looking forward to but we also got scammed and the company still has my money even after I emailed them. Don't trust this shady business and go somewhere else.
