This is a good Magic Kingdom food option. I recommend doing mobile ordering and pick your food up, instead of waiting in a long line. They give you a pickup time after placing your order. The food prices were reasonable, and the food was good.

Grabbed a quick bite early during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Ordered the patty melt, which comes with plant based cheddar cheese, grilled onions and asteroid sauce on Texas toast. The burger was good, but the toast gets chewy after sitting for a little bit. The fries were cold, so they remade them and the replacement order was hot. It did not take too long to get the food and there was seating. The dance party in the lower level wasn't so loud and didn't overpower the other music.

On our visit to Magic Kingdom Orlando we wanted a sit down restaurant but needed a reservation which we normally always do. So we decided to do a walk up with a dinning area and choose Cosmic Rays which the cheeseburger was pretty good and chicken nuggets were really good. The Lunar lemonade and Sully slush were excellent!

Their chicken strips with ranch smells so good, a lady walked by while we were still in line and I can smell the tasty ranch flavor! Lines are very long and indoor seating is extremely limited. Service is pretty slow so wait time is about 15 minutes at least. Ambiance is like a food court.

Stopped here for a quick snack and had a great experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. It was the perfect spot for a convenient and tasty bite.

I feel like it's usually so hard to find indoor seating, but it was so easy here! You can also refill your water bottle and use the bathroom while you're here, making this a great pit stop, especially in the heat of a Florida summer. The food is pretty good too! While still on the pricier side, it was better than what I expected. We got the black garlic, truffle, and parmesan fries and they were delicious! They really don't skimp on the sauce or cheese. And the fries were pretty crispy. And if you just get plain fries, they provide so many sauces here: ketchup, barbecue, honey mustard, mayo, ranch.

Able to order on the phone. Delicious truffle burger. Lots of flavor. Lots of seating inside but decided to eat outside to watch the parade.

I came here one day with my sister and her family when they were in town visiting. It was a long day at MK, and we wanted some food, so we came here, to Cosmic Ray's. It's one of the busiest counter service restaurants in all of WDW, but in the chaos, it is actually very efficient. No real ambiance to speak of. I think there used to be a singing alien in the corner or something, but now it's just a building with seats. Which is fine. It does its job. Service was pretty ok, too. Friendly faces at the registers, friendly folks handing you your order, taking requests on asking for extra veggies trays. No issues with service at all. As for the good, I was surprised with how good it was. Of course it was overpriced, but it wasn't as overpriced as other spots on Disney property. I think way too many families of 4+ slide in and out of this place for the prices to be too high. I ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich (Crispy Chicken Breast, Pickle Slaw, and Spicy Aïoli on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries). Nice, soft bun. Large, crispy chicken patty. Shoestring fries with unlimited amounts of ketchup. I was pretty pleased. I also got to sample the Triple-B Burger (Angus Beef Patty with Bacon, Cheddar Spread, Crispy Onions, and Coca-Cola® Cherry-Barbecue Sauce on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries), one of their signature items, with an upgrade side of Black Garlic, Truffle, and Parmesan Fries (French Fries topped with Black Garlic-Truffle Aïoli and Parmesan). Wow! This burger was out of this world. A good, charred burger patty with bacon that was actually crisp and played a role in this burger. Gooey cheese, more crisp from the onions, and that sweet BBQ sauce that counteracts the heaviness from the rest of the burger. Delicious. Definitely recommend this. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Gonna make this one of my go-to places for when I come to MK.

Pros: Really conveniently located within Magic Kingdom. Not too far out of the way. Service was nice enough. It's only counter service, but everyone was friendly and smiling. Food was surprisingly good! We had a good chicken sandwich and an even better bacon cheeseburger. Cons: No real cons. The price was even right, for Disney property. Tips: Both sandwiches we tried were worth it value-wise. So maybe their other menu items will satisfy you, too.

Pick up counter "Bay 2" at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café in the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney Resort.

I'm ready to be beamed up and spend some extra time at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café. Located in the Tomorrowland section of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café is a counter service restaurant that is both fast-casual counter ordering and modern ordering via the Disney World app. What brought our large group here for dinner was a recent visit to the "Happiest Place on Earth" and as we usually did our tour of this vast park in a clockwise setting, we would eventually land on Tomorrowland. After thinking about our options, we decided that dining at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café was the best option for our group. Of course, visiting around the holiday season, the entire park was packed with visitors and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café was no exception. Cosmic Ray's has a menu consisting mostly of stereotypical American theme park food, and is organized into three bays with one of them specifically designated to pick up your order when made through the Disney World app. The menu at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café consists mostly of stereotypical American theme park food, and is separated into categories including Entrées, Plant Based, Sides, Kid's Meals, Desserts, Speciality Beverages, Beverages, and their various allergy-free menu entrées. Since their menu was rather straight-forward and simple I ordered their Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, which featured a deep-fried crispy Chicken Breast topped with Pickle Slaw and Spicy Aïoli served on a Brioche Bun served with French Fries. To drink, since their beverages at this location were all fountain drinks, I ordered their Lunar Lemonade, which was a combination of Minute Maid Lemonade with Desert Pear Syrup served over ice. It was actually quite busy at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café the evening we visited, so the food took longer than we expected. Once the food was ready for pickup, we received a text via the app indicating which "bay" to go to, a system I have to give Disney credit for. It's well-organized and streamlines the entire process of ordering, payment, and distribution. Another big plus at Cosmic Ray's is the toppings bar, which lets you customize your burger and make it substantially larger than the average burger at Walt Disney World. By adding extra lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, you can enhance what's already a solid meal, which is definitely a highlight for any value-conscious diner. In itself, my chicken sandwich at Cosmic Ray's is nothing special. It's not awful, it's just nothing to write home about. My total bill came out to just over $20--which, in Disney dollars, is quite reasonable. After a full day in the park, getting a filling meal at an affordable price point was a refreshing change of pace. That said, it's worth noting that my drink was nearly half the cost of my chicken sandwich, and unfortunately, the overly sweet flavor didn't justify the price. I do wish Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café leaned more into themed dining and that the culinary team that they employ put a little bit more effort into the meal, something as simple as toasting the bun would've made a real difference. What makes Cosmic Ray's stand out, though, is its most delightfully odd and uniquely present-day Walt Disney World character, who goes by the random name of "Sonny Eclipse". This Audio-Animatronic alien performs a 20-minute musical set on the Astro Organ, complete with corny jokes and backup vocals from his Space Angels, entertaining guests in the main dining area. Why has Disney let this "attraction" stay when it no doubt costs a pretty penny to maintain is anyone's guess. A place that is affordable, fast, and with plenty of seating, Cosmic Ray's is surprisingly a great place to enjoy a quick meal, and ideally before your next ride leaves you a little queasy (and hopefully, it's not Space Mountain!).

This is a very average meal at the Magic Kingdom. Like most of this park the food is simply okay with nothing of serious note. Chicken Sandwich was super spicy but solid. Burger was very average. The thing that drives this place is the ambience. Different than other cafeteria style places it at least leans into its place in Tomorrowland with a futuristic feel. Would be a place to check out within the park.

For lunch while at Disney World we ate at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. They serve sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken tenders and no refill drinks unless you pay extra for it. It was very crowded, and you can order online. I don't recommend ordering online, it's faster to wait in line and order from a live person.(speaking from experience from my niece online ordering) it was hard to find a table, but we lucked up and everyone found a table, just not near each other. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and they weren't bad. Mahogany a young lady giving out Bday pins and first Disney visit pins was so nice. She gave me a bday pin, and it was nice getting bday wishes EVERY time someone saw my pin. Cosmic Ray's is not cheap, but not as expensive as other places to eat at WDW. If you looking for a budget friendly place to eat check out Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

We ate here for lunch while we were enjoying the sights Tomorrow Land had to offer! This is a Quick Meals place to have a walk up order and try to find a table! The table are many but this place gets crowded and there definitely isn't enough tables. The concept is cafeteria styled. Self serve and pick up your own condiments and plasticware with the meal plan drinks were included! The staff keeps on top of the housekeeping! My favorite is the Chicken Tenders and Fries in any of these quick meal areas! The crowded seating does detract from this area but the friendly efficient staff adds to it!

Repulsive Impossible burger - toast was like rubber. I don't think it's real food.

Looking around after the game, a smash burger sounded like just the thing we needed. Ambiance was nice. Good, chill vibes, a random door to a random next-door bar. Plenty of viable seating for my party of six. Service was pretty ok. The front counter worker was nice enough, but the food took forever to come out. Much longer than I would expect for the products we ordered. The food itself was dynamite. I got the Papi Big Mak (Two Florida-raised beef patties, smashed onions, lettuce, American cheese, sweet-heat pickles, tostone "Middle Bun" , Papi Mak sauce, Sesame Martin Potato Roll). This was a fun thing. The patties had a good crisp to them. The totstone did not, though, so it got a little lost in the bite and chew. Needed more sauce. And that sesame seed bun really helped out a lot, too. A little extra texture in every bite. I was a fan. I also got the chance to try the Umami Papi (Two Florida-raised beef patties, crispy bacon, white cheese, sweet-heat pickles, crispy onion, raspberry jam, Uuuumami truffle sauce, sesame buns). This one was a better topping combination. The pickles had a nice pop of acid, the raspberry jam really stood out, adding a nice sweetness, and the truffle sauce, never thought I needed it on a burger. I did. Standout burger. I also got the Papis Loco Fries. I forget exactly what these fries were topped with, but the cheese, just look at it. Congealed just perfectly. A good side item, for sure. Overall, this greasy meal is out there doing the good work for the people. Maybe this was a four star meal overall, but I'm not sitting, that Umami Papi was a standout for me, and the reason I now give five stars.

Nice, crispy edges on the patties, and I loved how many sesame seeds were on the buns. Great flavor. Cons: The only thing was that they waited for our whole party's order to be ready before calling names, instead of just serving them as they came. This lead to cold burgers. Tips: Make sure you arrive early! If you wait too long, they switch to a smaller, less interesting menu.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

Now this review has nothing to do with that my father's name was Freddy and that my mother's favorite treat was frozen custard. But those little tidbits of information don't hurt. The warm feeling that I get when I eat frozen custard reminiscent of enjoying it on the boardwalk with my mom is renewed at Freddy's not because of the ambience of the restaurant, but because of that same delicious taste that my mind still seems to remember from long ago that I have not found anywhere else before this. But I digress. Freddy's may look like your typical fast food restaurant, but it is anything but. I already loved it for the burgers, the french fries with their wonderful sauce, and of course, the custard but now they have a salad as well. Really fresh greens with my favorite burger on top as a garnish. Low-carb great taste and totally filling. But not so filling as to not leave room for that wonderful custard. On this particular visit, I did run into an issue which I will not lower my rating because of, but want people aware of so it does not happen to them. If you have a coupon for a discounted custard, and they ring in any other item after that, it will restore the custard to the full price on their register. I did not notice that and paid the full price. The manager did give me a card for a free custard next visit so they certainly took responsibility but just wanted people aware to keep an eye on that. In defense of the staff, I don't think they noticed either that it had occurred, so I did not allow that to detract from my impression of five star service from their pleasant, friendly and attentive staff Of course the custard is a star. It comes in all sorts of different ways to serve it. I tend to usually be a purist indeed, as a soft serve, but sometimes their specials are so exciting that I cannot resist. I have never tasted any of them that I did not find awesome. Their steakburgers should not be left as an afterthought. These are not like other fast food burgers; the meat is actually very tasty and because there's not any "proprietary" seasonings on it I even order an extra one so that I can sit outside with my puppy and she can enjoy it. It is small enough to not be unhealthy for her and big enough to be a satisfying snack. Its fat content does not make her ill like the typical fast food burger would. I personally like the fries and find the sauces to be quite good. Prices are more than reasonable and they have hours that make them convenient whenever you're hungry or craving that custard fix. I am a Freddy's fan and wish they would open one closer to where I live in Miami.

The resturant inside was very clean, and the employees working behind the counter were very nonchalant. I ended up ordering their grilled chicken sandwich combo with their famous skinny fries. My mom got the Freddy's Original double combo with a Turtle milkshake and onion rings. The sandwich portion was big. The chicken was very juicy and tasted alright. The fries, however, were not seasoned. I had to get a salt and pepper packet to season them. At that point, they were very good, tasty, and crispy! Overall, the meal was okay. It was nothing spectacular but also nothing terrible either. As for my mom, she wasn't very impressed with her hamburger. She said the portion size was good, but she would describe the hamburger itself as "lacy." She said it was okay, but since it took us 27 minutes to get here, she said Culver's was better in quality and closer. She was underwhelmed by the onion rings. She said it was more of the fried breading and barely any onion inside. However, she did enjoy her milkshake, but struggled to suck it up through the straw. It was enjoyable to try a new establishment, but it was just a mid experience for me.
