A-Go-Go is always a fun experience with good food and crazy amounts of it. I've been to the one in Chicago and one on I-Drive, but this is the first time that I went to the one in Horizon West. It's a larger, more high-ceilinged space, so it has a somewhat different vibe, although it follows through with the traditional giant piece of mechanical equipment right as you enter (in this case, a big tractor). Pretty much in a rut and always have to have the chicken and waffles because I think it's the best around. Actually, it's the chicken that is the best around, with its mixture of crispy leeks and green onions on top and the hot maple syrup. The waffles are just okay. They're a bit too big for my taste, and it's a little weird to have the bacon inside of them instead of crispy on top, but the sage flavoring is really good on everything. My wife had the chilaquiles, which was a massive serving and was quite good and almost authentic. Our server was quite a comedian, which made the experience even more fun. read more

This place is sooo cute! I absolutely loved the décor and the overall vibe. We got there early, which worked out perfectly because we were seated right away and received great service. Every time I pass by, this place is packed, so I was happy we beat the crowd! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge--definitely come hungry. The bacon was absolutely exquisite and one of the highlights of the meal. Service was wonderful as well. I believe our server's name was Shay, and she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made our experience even better. Great food, amazing atmosphere, and excellent service. This is a new location in Winter Garden FL. It's a stand alone structure with high ceilings and spacious seating. The team here are very friendly and fun - from the host to the server to the bartender, they are a great team! Sadly, this will be our last visit to a Hash House a Go Go and that is due to a menu item change they are making. I was informed that their S'Mores Mocha will no longer be topped with marshmallow fluff but with just some marshmallows floating in it. That makes no sense to me but we were told they were having a hard time getting the fluff so they are moving to just marshmallows and this is across all stores. That drink was the main reason we would visit every time we were in a city that had one of these restaurants. We would also get one of their massive breakfasts to go with the coffees and we liked all the breakfast options. But that drink was the driver so I won't return. I'd give a lower rating but I hate to do that to the team at this location - they are really great people so if that mocha is of no consequence to you, definitely try this location. read more

Stopped in on Tuesday morning, seemed to be pretty slow. Obviously sat right away, drink order was taken along with food as I knew what I wanted. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which honestly wasn't bad considering it's spring break and peak brunch time. The Vibe: Lively, energetic, and definitely a popular brunch spot. That said, when we were seated, my chair was dirty and there were utensils, rosemary, a straw, and even crayons under the table. I understand it was busy, but a little more attention to detail would have gone a long way. Service: Our server, Peyton, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and quick to take our order. My husband's breakfast burrito was also fresh and delicious, but the real surprise was the brown sugar banana flapjack--literally the size of a medium pizza. One pancake, endless regret (in the best way). I'm not usually a pancake person, but this one completely won me over. Overall: Great food, solid service, and good value for the portion sizes. First time in since it opened. Had a big party but it dwindled down to only 10 by the time morning came. Chris (Alex's dad) took care of all of us like it was nothing but a thang. The interactions he had with each of us made our entire morning! Super funny and attentive and with the chaos all around never forgot a thing - esp my creamer cup!! Something like a three or four dropped down for lack of good hospitality and customer sevice. Host sat us without saying a single word, thats weird. Was looking forward to Hash a Go Go too after a few visits to Flamingo. Looks like a cool and interesting high casual breakfast spot, right? It's an impressive building, they've got a promising creative menu, so was excited to try them. ...but it's going to take more than excessive balsamic drizzle, fancy broomstick bristles, and tourist trap prices to impress me. Actually, doesn't take much. What really killed the experience was the whole vibe here. Even our waitress was terse, actually became insulting when I asked her a simple question about the garnish and never followed up afterward. So no refills (needed them) and had to chase the check which I really dislike; don't trap me. The whole tomato watermelon thing was disgusting. Andy's sage fried chicken was more like a dump plate. Fruit garnish was much less and very different than shown, same for the rosemary flourish, none of our items had the stoopid sprig on it but it sure was pictured and priced that way. BBBLT & Bloody Mark were a hit with one friend, Tractor Special with a bacon waffle & scrambled eggs was enough to split between 2. The California scramble was well made and the potatoes made it worth it. I only photographed my own food, sorry to fail the dishes above. My s'mores mocha was messy but delicious, and I'm still dreaming of the brûléed bananas on French toast with pecans. I added a side of bacon (which came separately, but I added it to my plate). This was my second time visiting Hash House A Go Go, and as a creature of habit (GenX here), I went straight for the chicken and waffles again--and they did not disappoint! We brought family from out of town because we wanted them to experience the deliciousness, and once again, the food lived up to the hype. Our server, Bobby, was absolutely amazing. We've had him before, and he continues to deliver excellent service with a friendly, attentive vibe that makes the meal even better. The only hiccup was the reservation process. Online it showed no reservations available, and when I called, they told me reservations had to be made online. In the end, they said it would be a 20-minute wait, but we were seated in less than five minutes. Honestly, not bad at all considering how busy it was. The atmosphere was cute and lively, but not too loud--we could easily talk to each other without feeling overwhelmed. It struck the perfect balance of energy and relaxation. Anytime we're in Orlando, we stop by Hash House on the way home - but this was our first time at their newer second location. I don't know if it was just the timing, but it was less busy than the normal one - which we loved that it wasn't super crowded. It has a much more modern look than the other location. The food was all just as good, and oh my goodness was it fast! Amazing to get such good quality food that quickly. We tried the biscuits and gravy and the country fried steak. The kiddos tried chicken tenders and waffles - and everything was amazing. The real winner here though was the service. Gina was friendly with great humor. She talked to the kids and even went out of the way for things like extra orange slices for one kiddo and a little cup of honey for my daughter who had a Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal with her. These are all small things, but those little extras really make it a more memorable experience. She's excellent - and honestly makes us more apt to drive a little more out of the way to this location next time we're in the area. read more

Walking in you are quickly greeted and approached to either take you to your table or put your name on the waiting list for which you would receive a text when your table is ready. The two gentleman who were hosting seemed miserable to be there but we got seated and sat for about 8 min or so before the waiter and waitress in training came to our table to take drink orders. The waiter was extremely personable and friendly which made up for the lack of attention in the beginning. We were a party of 5 and ordered 2 basic breakfasts (toast was forgotten with both and had to get waiters attention to receive) one bacon waffle, one breakfast sandwich (both complete and good) and one healthy breakfast with mushrooms, onions, and peppers add avocado - did not get the onions with it as ordered and didn't bring it up because I was hungry. I also did not realize the mushrooms would be basically raw, barely cooked and not very appetizing. The avocado was $1 and the smallest little slice. Overall I would probably rate it a 3 but I gave some grace being new and having a trainee - kitchen also probably had trainees that we didn't know. Let me start by saying how amazing the staff is -- from the host to our server, everyone was wonderful. Our server was incredibly kind and patient, giving us plenty of time to look over the menu since it was our first visit. She explained the portion sizes, pointed out local favorites, and even made sure our kids had their drinks right away. The kids loved coloring their menus and checking out the fun décor while we waited. The restaurant itself was very clean and spacious, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered two kids' meals -- one waffle and one traditional breakfast plate. My husband and I both went with the Tractor Special, which includes eggs, a choice of meat, and a main dish. He chose the pancake, and I went with the French toast. Both were massive! A couple of small things to note: I didn't realize the French toast came with bananas (which I can't have), and it was served with syrup already poured on top. I usually prefer to add my own syrup. Also, the eggs were on the same plate and ended up soaking up some of that syrup, which wasn't ideal. For my husband's pancake plate, the portion of eggs felt a little small, but honestly, that giant pancake more than made up for it! Overall, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We thought this place was going to awesome - the restaurant is huge and clean and welcoming, and the food looked amazing as we walked past the other tables. Unfortunately the meal itself ended up being eh. My daughters said the pancake was 10/10 - I only had a couple small bites and didn't think it was all that, just your basic pancake only 5x the size. I had the chorizo hash and there was nothing special about it. The flavor solely relied on the chorizo they used, and I've had better. I ordered two eggs over easy with it and they were still raw on the inside (the whites were still clear). Our server was tending to the bar and putting things away and wasn't really paying attention to his tables, so after waiting awhile I finally flagged down the host when he sat a table near us and he seemed to sort of mock me a little for telling him about the eggs, saying you need to talk to your waiter for that. I didn't say anything just looked at him and he then realized he needed to at least offer to go get him for us. This is service 101 - it should be everyone's job to help out and the host's reaction just reinforced for me that service isn't their strong suit. Once the server came over he seemed a little annoyed but when I showed him the raw eggs he softened a tad. It didn't take long for the replacement to come, but it had been so long I filled up on the hash and didn't end up finishing my eggs. I don't know about you, but there's nothing better than runny yolk along with a bite of hash... so that was a big disappointment. We went here for brunch on our last day near Disney World. I missed the episode of Diners, Drive ins and Dives when he visited this place, but they sure let you know that he was there. This is a very busy restaurant that obviously does a high volume business. As such, our waiter seemed stretched to the limit and he was running around serving a bunch of tables. The menu is large. The portions are huge. The wife and I split the chicken and waffles which cost $28.99 but is easily enough food for two people. The waffles were fluffy and the deep fried chicken was tender. But there is too much going on. The rosemary sprig is complete superfluous and unnecessary. It adds nothing to the dish and is quickly discarded. The fried onions or shallots are also unneeded. Sometimes less is more. The kid's chocolate chip pancake was huge and she liked it. Overall, it was a good experience. We had a 25 minute wait but I suppose it was worth it. read more

Drinks: hot chocolate with Bailey's and BLT bloody Mary. My husband enjoyed the bloody Mary. I enjoyed the hot chocolate; however, it was just lukewarm. Meals: corned beef hash and French toast tractor. No issues with the corned beef hash. However, the eggs that I received had burnt pieces throughout, I requested new eggs to which our waitress provided without a problem. However, the second set of eggs also had a few pieces of overcooked eggs, was missing the cheese and we're just warm. The portion sizes on all of the food is large. Our waitress was good, but service was slow. Lastly, the military discount only applies to the veterans meal vice all of the meals on the check. Most places extend the discount to spouses.
