DAMNNN!!!!!!!! I broke my samsung note 2 a few days back; cracked glass screen on the lower left corner with multiple shards that extended to the top and sides. LCD and digitizer is okay. Called COSMO and s/w Ben. Ben is super awesome: honest and concise. Went to store. dropped off my phone. 3 hrs later. it is as good as brand new!!!!!! I called a few other places before making the decision of buying the voucher on groupon because the price is very high, so I bought the voucher on groupon to fix my samsung s4 broken screen glass for the price of 79. The process was quick and the employees are very nice and helpful. My front camera was also broken so I fixed it with the price of 29.99, and after the process is done, the employee, i don't know if it is the manager or what, but they offered me a free phone case. I was happy with the result and with the money I spent. COSMO really does deserve 5 whole stars. I cracked my Galaxy S4 screen, and checked three different stores before finding out about COSMO. At the other three stores, all prices were around $250. I got my phone for less than that. I first found COSMO on Groupon, and decided to give them a call. Amy, who assisted me, told me I didn't even need to buy the Groupon - they would honor the Groupon price in-store. I made an appointment and the price came out to be around $85. What I was truly impressed by was that Amy told me about all the risks that could happen to my phone during the fixing process. She didn't hide all the risks that could occur. She told me right off the bat - before I signed the agreement. Not only that, she made sure to call me in the middle of their fixing to tell me that it is going smoothly and I do not need to worry! What kind of great customer service is that? It's amazing. I went back to pick up my phone, and unfortunately moisture got onto my microphone (which was not COSMO's problem). My microphone wasn't working, so Amy quickly ordered the microphone parts and apologized for the inconvenienced. She gave me free good-quality earphone/microphone piece that I used until the next appointment. She told me she won't charge me for the labor - only part. Additionally, she will take 30% off the part (which would be a total of around $40). I came in next appointment to fix my microphone. They finished in less than 30 minutes. I went in to pick it up AND THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME. Completely free. I was shocked. Amy apologized for the inconvenience of me coming back again. Read the rest of the reviews prior to going to COSMO. My experience accurately reflected the positive experience of others on Yelp. The experience almost followed a Yelp script. The screen on my Samsung Note 2 was badly cracked screen - it was badly splintered in the upper corner. When I took my phone in -- they carefully tested it to make sure it was working before they took it in for repair. They explained the process and the risk that they might not be able to fix it given that the process might damage the LCD. $99 + tax was the estimate. 2 hours later, I had my phone looking like new! There were a few others that were cheaper -- but I would have had to deliver my phone and wait for it to be fixed and delivered back. I need my phone for work and family. The only negative was the attempt to 'upsell' me a protective screen for a 'discounted' price of $29.99. I was so happy with the repair, I bought the screen.... after asking for a little deeper discount. read more

We were out to lunch when my husbands Galaxy S4 slipped from his hand and came crashing down. The screen shattered, as one would expect from a whopping height of 2 feet up. I know everyone claims this of their phone these days, but my husbands phone really is his life. He works for himself and as such, relies on his mobile device quite heavily. From emails to contacts, everything was on there. (Side note, we learned the lesson the hard way, back up your important info often!!!) We immediately brought it to Cosmo to have the screen replaced. Well, the universe was working against us because while Jorge was able to install a new screen, the touch response wasn't working. At this point it wasn't worth fixing the phone since the price was counter productive and all the contacts on the phone would be lost. It really was an awful situation but Jorge didn't give up on us. Customer service might be dead in the rest of the country, but not at Cosmo. He went above and beyond what I feel is "normal" CS these days and it was really appreciated. Ultimately we have given up on the phone, but my husbands 1500 contacts and other info was saved. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here, if the need arises. These guys were a life saver! I cracked my screen so bad I was getting shards of glass in my fingers because it was so fractured. I called and super friendly Sean picked up the phone, asked a couple quick questions and 3 hours later my phone was fixed. Before leaving we checked the selfie camera and it didn't work so he took the screen that he had just replaced, took it off and reworked some stuff and got it to work again. He made it a priority to make sure everything was perfect before I left. I'm a server and I really appreciate nice and easy service like this. I highly recommend going here. This place is terrible. They fried my phone just like others that commented on here. I did not read the reviews because I thought it would be fine. I had my screen cracked and as soon as I had it fixed here my speaker started to not work and I couldn't hear anyone. I went back to them several times and they told me it was the actual phone: and if I hadn't heard that the iPhone 7 were in the news now that they are malfunctioning and it is not their services! Which was a complete lie. I went to Apple and asked them, they diagnosed my phone and said it was the third party that did the damage. When I went back to tell the lady the info they told me was not true she gave me an attitude and told Me there was nothing to do and that they do not give refunds. St. Patricks day was a bad day for me. I dropped my phone and cracked the screen on my Samsung S3. Just like anyone else I used yelp to find the closest repair shop in Pasadena. There were several repair shops which made it very difficult to choose from. So I began to read all the reviews and analyze which repair shop I wanted to take my phone into. After intense 30 mins of researching, I decided to bring my phone into Cosmo because their reviews weren't so perfect but at the same time they had the Best and honest experiences by yelpers. So I called made an appointment with Amy for noon appointment for the same-day I called in. I was greeted by Amy and was throughly explained about so called risk factor (kinda freaked me out, but so did the other yelpers). She told me to come back in 2hrs so I just decided to do little shopping in the area because they're in the mall. Here's comes the WOW factor. Amy calls me back in less than 2hrs and told me that my phone was ready for pick up. I went in and............ Wow. How can they fix something like this and make it look like brand new again? I was so amazed that I had to take a pic what my phone looks like and post it on my Facebook. To top if off, their customer service was above and beyond. Hello Cosmos I fixed my ipad2 screen and noticed the entire screen has horizontal lines. This must be a bad screen that was installed. This iPad was practically new before the screen cracked. Now the new screen that was installed is bad. I looked up this issue and seems like bad install is to blame or part Update: Cosmos left me hanging again. Extremely pleased with their service!! Awesome customer service! I needed to fix a crack on my iPhone, so I called around and found Cosmos. Over the phone, I was given a great explanation of my options. As I walked in, I was greeted by George (I believe that is his name). He was helping another customer and made sure that I was noticed. He had the options we discussed over the phone ready to show to me. I dropped off the phone and walked around Paseo (outside mall) which may time fly. My phone was fixed in less than 45 minutes by Sean. Sean came out and explained everything to me and double checked my phone, to make sure it's working properly. Worst phone repair store available, TURN BACK NOW! Came into this place almost half a year ago to repair my original note edge for a broken LCD and glass screen. Staff and manager (Jessica)were very nice until they get your money. Gave me a good price (250) and sold themselves really well and told me they'd call when the screen comes in. 3 weeks later I call and the guy is "just about to call me". WOW what a coincidence. So I get my screen repaired and immediately as I walk out the store my screen starts coming off and there's an LCD crack on the screen. "No problem the manager", Jessica says, "we'll just use your warranty to get a replacement. Even though I didn't break the phone, I have to use my warranty but whatever it's fine. 4-5 months later now (3/28/17) I have yet to receive a call. Not to tell me it's going to take a while or anything. WORST PHONE REPAIR EVER. If I could give negative stars I would send this place to the bottom. I really don't have a lot of time to be calling and honestly I've said fuck it but you know what, what's needs to be done should be done. So prepare yourselves for the day I come in. It'll be soon and I promise you I'll be there all day with you till we get this problem solved because that's how proper customer care should be. read more

I'd like to recommend this place to those who have malfunctioning cell phones and want to save some bucks by repairing them. I think highly of them because of their friendly and nice staff, lightning-speed repair, 90-day warranty, and reasonable pricing. Here is my experience with COSMO: I went to COSMO Pasadena for a repair appointment on Nov 23 2016 in order to have the malfunctioning power button of my good old Google Nexus 5 fixed. Located in Paseo Colorado (a very large mall in Oldtown Pasadena), it was a bit difficult for me to find, and as a result I was a bit late for my appointment. To my surprise, their staff called to remind me of my appointment, and helped me find my way to their store. It took them just 30 minutes to replace the dying power button with a brand new one, and the lady who returned my phone to me took her time explaining what they saw inside my phone and what they did in great details. The price was $65.4 (tax included), which seemed very reasonable to me for the sake that surface-mount soldering is not in my skill set. Now the phone is fully functional, and the annoying random shut off (followed by a bootloop) is completely gone. I am very happy with their service, because it saved me time for searching for a new phone and hundreds of bucks for buying one. read more

Do not come here for iPhone repair work! The first time I came in to repair my phone they took my iPhone 6 into the back and fixed the cracked screen in 15-20 min. However, when I got my phone back I saw they had placed a black screen on my white iPhone. They did not apologize for the inconvenience or notify me beforehand that they were out of stock of white iPhone screens. Not only was I left with a mismatched iPhone, they said they weren't sure when they would receive a shipment of white screens. They offered to swap it out later on once they received the shipment, but I would have to return within 1 week for them to change it for free. This was a huge inconvenience for me, as I work 6 days a week and can only come on my days off. When I left with the iPhone I noticed that the screen was a lot less touch sensitive than usually. It was very difficult to type any messages or text, which was extremely annoying. I figured it was due to the screen protector they had put on. I went back a few days later to get the black screen switched to the white screen. Once again, service was quick about 15-20 min. But the quality of work is really awful. The second time around, not only is the screen less touch sensitive (even without the screen protector- since they took it back) my phone has been having glitches on the LCD screen- either showing double, or with banding and noise, or even flashing. I have never had any problems with my phone prior to bringing it to COSMO phone repair. I do not think they are trustworthy and I would never bring anything back here again and I would NEVER recommend it to a friend. I had my screen replaced previously at another 3rd party retailer in the OC and they did a phenomenal job for a very good price. They did it within 10 minutes in front of me and I never had any problems with my iPhone after they replaced the screen. Please think twice and do more research before going to COSMO to repair your iPhone!!! read more

DON'T GO HERE - THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE FRAUD. DO NOT TRUST YOUR PHONE WITH THEM. I brought a Samsung note, had the glass screen broken but otherwise functional phone, and they said they can replace the screen. Ended up breaking the LCD screen completely, rendering the entire device useless. Afterward, they said that this doesn't happen usually. They claimed the glue that sealed the phone screen was too hard so they had to use a higher heat to unseal it. Ended up BURNING THE ENTIRE LCD. IF THE GLUE WAS TOO HARD, THEN WHY RISK BURNING THE LCD? These guys had 0 pride in what they do and were eager to close the shop and leave instead of actually working. THESE GUYS AARON AND BEN WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. Whole process took me 3 hours to get a broken phone back. What a waste of time, energy, and money. My experience with this company has been horrific. We had screen and body work done to an iPhone 6 there that shortly after stopped working completely. We spent hundreds of dollars with them over a few visits. This has gone on for over a month. I can not get a callback from anyone at the store after leaving continual messages. They are in possession of our phone still and have no communication with us. They are completely unprofessional. They will take your money and give you back poor product. THUMBS DOWN. read more

Price was good, but one week after repair, phone stopped working. Went back, they insisted it was water damage, not their repair, and charged me another $40 to fix it. I appreciate the response but the problem I have is that Jessica stated that the charging port is needed for the phone to operate normally. She even left us with another battery that was stated to "work" normally but wouldn't charge beyond 1% due to the "defective charging port". I left your store with the battery she supplied to us but went back soon after to replace it for my original one, knowing that I wanted to get a second opinion from Apple. This is where I find myself confused because as stated by the Apple tech, the charging port is operable & does not need to be replaced. If it was explained to me as a recommendation to change the charging port rather than a necessity I would have been completely satisfied. read more

I cracked my screen horribly and these guys were able to answer all my questions, I was hesitant for the reason that I didn't know to what extent my phone had been damaged but I had the pleasure of speaking to Daniel, and Raymond over the phone and they were able to answer all my questions before even coming in. I'm so glad this cell phone repair shop opened in the Paseo Colorado plaza. I broke my iphone 4s screen a month ago and was too lazy to go anywhere to fix it, but by chance, I found this shop while out and about last weekend and they fixed my phone in less than 30 min. I cracked the screen on my Samsung s5 and needed to get it replaced. I spoke to 3 different repair shops before deciding on Cosmo (which was also recommended to me by Verizon). I chose Cosmo based on the recommendation, and the level of professionalism from Ben. Ben explained to me that he can fix the cracked glass, but it could cause issues to my screen later. If the screen does cease to work later, the fix will cost even more. I had a great experience with the customer service and wait time was about 1 1/2 hours. The price was higher than I anticipated at $129.99 but definitely not the most expensive of the repair shops I checked out. read more
