Now if you are still on the fence about coming here due to some people questioning the durability of MA's fish with them getting sick" within a day or two after bringing home" or that "Selling sick fish is unacceptable". Let me ease your mind. Yes, fish do get sick sometimes. That is always unfortunate. It is also sometimes out of a LFS's control at times. Pathogens, parasites and protozoa are always present in aquaculture. Symptoms may remain dormant or negligible and cannot be detected from a glance. Hence it is why we in the hobby quarantine new fish, not just for diseases we can see but also those we cannot. However sickness can sometimes not be preventable. Something you CAN prevent is a massacre of your whole tank by simply QUARANTINING YOUR FISH. If you allow time to do its thing you will most definitely know whether or not any action needs to be taken. Simply dumping new fish into established tanks just means " I dont care about my fish", " If they die its not my fault since I didnt know they were sick". Now alot of people in this hobby are beginners and thats great! Just learn to ask for help. If help is coming from a person who "pretended he didn't understand what I was saying", GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There's this pretty neat place call the internet. Oh? you're on it now? WOW! SEE look at that! Not so Hard right? BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!! :) All in all, sorry for the rant. Good variety of tropical fishes , different styles and size of tanks , endless supplies of stuff to put in tank and more stuff to maintain and keep tank clean and fishes alive . They have a nice selection of toys, treats as well as food, some clothing options / clothes line (a little pricey!) and grooming and vet services. So, it's a one-stop shop for sure. I had my dog microchipped here and I've brought him to get his first grooming experience. I had Penelope and she did an OK job. It wasn't the most amazing ever (I wanted him a bit more fluffy, but she did say - and I know this - he hates the blow dryer). But she checked in with me on the size of the cut and how short she should cut. I'll probably bring him again to her. The only downside is that if you try to call the store, you probably won't get an answer. The store seems to be a bit short-staffed and it does get fairly busy so the check out line can get a bit long (with usually just 2 cashiers on). Other than that, it's a good option and I'll continue to frequent it for my pooch's needs.

It's a work of art, and now the most beautiful piece of furniture in my home! My cichlids were previously in a 20 gal and obviously deserved an upgrade to a 55gal tank. Chris consulted with me to build a custom table that houses the new 55 gal on top, with the 20 gal tank and a storage cabinet on the bottom. He even went so far as to take note of the other furniture in my room, and incorporate similar elements to match it perfectly, all the way down to the stain. My fish are SO happy in their new home that they immediately bred and I now have 8 fry living their best life too! I walked in and expected a table or some sort of advertisement but there was nothing which was unusual, I asked someone working there and they directed us to the fridge and said to grab a pint and wait at the register so that is exactly what we did. I guess it was a "if you know, you know" kind of event lol!! We came up to the counter and the cashier voided the ice cream, we just had to cover tax! Her manager was speaking for 30 minutes to the groomer. At the end, I just ended up leaving with no pup cup. I traveled for this event with my family and 2 dogs so I was extremely disappointed.
