Located on Front Street with plenty of street and a large parking lot at the back of the restaurant. There is a large menu to select from and indulged with the steak and eggs paired with rye toast and sweet potato fries. The steak was cooked perfectly paired with the sunny side eggs and well toasted bread to sop up the yolks with. The coffee was endless and even provided a carafe to satisfy my coffee addiction. The staff here are super friendly and love the decor and vibe. Definitely a must goto if you are in the Niagara region and want to enjoy a nice breakfast. read more

What are gem! With a theme based on good old rock 'n' roll, leaning heavily towards Elvis Presley, the menu goes on forever, and the food is great. The place is understaffed, but the people who are working are working their tails off to keep everyone happy. Worth the trip. read more

Cute vibe, music themed diner that feels a little dated now. Ordered the eggs Benedict. It was a little disappointing. The Hollandaise sauce was very underwhelming, and local flavour. The eggs were poached well, and the potatoes were the deep fried kind. Prices were quite high for what you get. The coffee was good! And the service was decent. We had an awesome Brunch here. I loved the pick 5 items for $5.95 idea, it was very tasty and fresh. I ordered baked beans, white toast, bacon (2 orders) and a pancake. I was full! Honestly as a standard diner it's average at best. Cutlery was filthy, which was awful to see since the spoon came in the coffee - when we pulled it out it was crusted with gunk. However, the server was quick to apologize and replace the dishes and coffee. The eggs and pancakes and toast were great. The hash browns were mediocre, and the bacon and sausage were quite frankly terrible - the sausage looked like it had been cooked, refrigerated, and then deep fried . It had a hard crust that went through half the sausage. It could just be a bad day, and I didn't try their infamous stuffed French toast - judging by the pancakes it would be amazing. I wouldn't go there again for a traditional breakfast, but I'll probably try again for their specialty at some point. read more

Took my mother here for Mothers Day today. My wife could not join us because our son who has severe Autism does not do well in restaurant situations. I had asked the waitress at the start if I could get some take out at the end of our meal. She said "sure" just let me know. when it was time to put in the next order the waitress came back and informed me that "they will not be doing any take out orders today." When I asked why she said because we are too busy. I said so if I ordered it to the table then couldn't finish it you'd put it in a container? She said yes. This place reminds me of that soup guy from Seinfeld, except he had the best soup. Cosmo's is decent but well behind Sunrise Cafe on Bunting Rd. and Angels Diner on Ontario St. If you are going to make up reasons not to serve food at least be the best. Even when I tried explaining the reason I was taking it home they declined. I will NEVER go here again many better options. read more

When we visit the Welland Canal, we always treat ourselves to Cosmos in Thorold. Their breakfast/brunch menu is huge, and is always a taste experience. Super yummy skillets or the breakfast special, Cosmos will always please you! As a matter of fact, we enjoy Cosmos so much that we stopped in for lunch on our way to Niagara Falls to be married! They have a cool decor and the friendliest staff! Sure beats eating somewhere close to home! read more

We were seated quickly, and our drink orders were taken on the way to our table. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, got quite busy while we were there, and died down about the time we left. The menu is massive with plenty of the usual options and lots of unusual ones, too. The scrambled eggs were probably the best I've had at any restaurant I've been to - creamy but not wet, if that makes sense. The potatoes and sausage were not salty as they tend to be at many places. In fact, nothing was too salty. We'll definitely be back. read more

Just finished a great breakfast here! This place has everything you want in a breakfast, with some new stuff added in! My wife Poutine Breakfast and I had Meat Lovers Breakfast! Hers was eggs Benedict basically over top of poutine with their home fries as the base. I happened to grab a little bit of that myself and it was amazingly delicious. My breaky was perfect, 4kinds of meat, ham, bacon and Canadian bacon. The marble rye topped it,F'ing Perfect! Food was fast as breakfast should be, Server was good, pleasant, prompt and quickly fixed my only issue. My first fork came pre-egged in a napkin roll. That's on whoever did that roll-up, I've done roll-ups a former server and you can't miss egg ffs! Anyway our server fixed that quickly, quietly and professionally. Very clean place overall and cool diner/Marilyn Monroe theme going with music to match. We'll be back! read more

Public Service Announcement! UPDATE: You won't believe this. We received our food maybe 20 minutes after the original review and once we received it, we asked to speak to the owner. Once the owner came out, we simply asked why everyone else ordered before us and she responded by asking if we didn't want our food. SUDDENLY, the cook appeared from seemingly nowhere; then in almost harmonic unison, him and the owner quickly lunged down and grabbed our plates from under our forks and told us to get out! When we said we were going to wait for our friends, she grabbed her phone, called the cops and began describing us and (listen to this) TOLD THEM WE WERE INTOXICATED. Are you kidding me? Not the way to run a business. Then, one my friends that actually ate their meals stayed behind to pay respectfully. After waiting 2 minutes for her change, she asked if she could have her change back and the girl responded "You didn't ask for it hunny", in the most condescending tone ever. Unbelievable. This is an example of what NOT to do when running a restaurant. ORIGINAL REVIEW: To begin with, we arrived with a large crowd and all had to sit dispersed throughout the restaurant. There was maybe 15 of us.. not a big deal; but the problem really arose when they ignored 2 of our tables almost entirely (including pretending to not see us when we were literally waving our arms at them). Meanwhile, the 3rd table ordered AND received their meal BEFORE the waitress even made her way to OUR table, as if they completely forgot about us (PLUS multiple tables that arrived after us received food before we ordered as well). It was fantastic! I went in and right away the waiter greeted me with coffee. I just had eggs and homefries, but I could tell they were made fresh, NOT frozen. Everything tasted great, and the service was great too. My coffee cup was never less than half full! VERY cheap prices too! I would come here every morning if I could. read more

We went to Cosmo's to have breakfast today, and we ended up leaving. We were told to have a seat when we walked and someone would be righ over! We sat down at a dirty table as we were told to sit there, we waited for someone to come over and clean it off and give us menus. We waited 5 minutes still no one came over, a couple of people came in sat down and got menus right away, another table of 6 people came in and they got menus right away. That was it for us we left as no one came over to clean the table let alone give us menus or take a drink order. I was very disappointed in the service there today or should I say the service we didn't get. I am not sure if we will ever go there again. read more
