My brother and I went in for haircuts and star did his hair and bro did mine. Star left a huge bald spot behind my brother's ear and the entire cut was completely uneven. He consistently asked for adjustments throughout the haircut and she still couldn't get that right. And when I asked bri if she could do layers on me she did them very very choppy and did not blend them into my already existing layers whatsoever. My face framing bangs are uneven as well. Overall this place is extremely terrible and overpriced I would not suggest going here they don't know what they're doing. read more

Well I guess I dodged a huge bullet, when it comes to getting my hair cut today. I walked in about 12:15 "Star" was going to do my hair and scheduled me for 12:40. She was to do a shampoo/conditioner. When I came back for my appointment Star informed me would not have time to do a simple wash. I always get a wash/conditioner when having a cut. So I told her I would need to reschedule. I had not rescheduled and Just left. When I got back to the car I saw the terrible reviews posted about this "star" if I could have given a ZERO I would have. My question is... Why is this girl still working there? How many negative reviews does someone have to have before they are terminated from any place I don't know just asking. read more

Overall disappointing haircut! I didn't say a word to him that I did't like it. By the time I saw what she didn't with the back it was too late. He told me after we got home and he played with it that it sucks. All I could say is I'm sorry, I agree she didn't do a good job and we will never go back there. The lady that did my daughters didn't blend her long layers well. It's not terrible but there is a distinct difference between the last and next layer of her hair. On top of the disappointing haircuts they charged a $3.95 sanitizing fee per haircut. $3.95 for you to take 30 seconds to wipe down your chair is complete BS and taking advantage of the pandemic! read more

However.... your haircuts are hit and miss! one day i can get a great cut the next my hair looks as if Edward scissor hands got me. for gods sake if you can't trim a beard say you can't not i'll try. I went in and had to make an appointment which was fine. I came back at appointment time and got right in. I told the stylist I needed a trim to my long A Bob. She was good to ask how much I wanted cut off. She gave an excellent trim but it was not an A bob. She then tried again but it was still not an A Bob. I think I needed clarification about the length of trim necessary to create the A Bob style. The manager was right there but offered little help. All in all I was satisfied because she did trim up nicely. Next time I will make sure I clarify and take a picture. I really think salons should consider using some type of written questionnaire as it might improve satisfaction and expected hair cut results.. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 6 pm via their website. Arrived on time, the only girl there promptly told us she had no appointments scheduled for 6. She told us to come back in 30 minutes and she could serve us. Came back at 6:30 and she was helping a different customer, presumably a walk-in. I went there again, for haircut. I had a picture. I know every persons hair is different I'm aware. So I said kinda like this. Hair "over" ears meaning half covered. 3 inches. Well hair was "cut" around ears meaning ears completely NOT covered. The hair on both sides a mere 1,000,000 of an inch top also. I look like I'm ready for basic training. I know it'll grow back. This place is a joke. Online booking is a joke. This was the third time that I have a booked on line and when I walk in they tell me they don't show me booking a haircut. Today I booked an appointment at 930 and when I walk in at 940 a they said they didn't show me booking anything and they had another appointment at 10. Then they said they could get me in later, if I wanted a later time I would have booked a later time. Either have more stylists working or stop making appointments every 15 minutes on line because it's obvious that you can't handle a simple haircut in 20 minutes. Not to mention the prices are ridiculous. $25 for my sons haircut a week ago and I could have done a better job with a pair of Wahl clippers. read more

Went in as a walk in and was seen very quickly. Just wanted a trim, no shampoo, no style. The stylist was nice enough but she wasn't good enough for cutting hair. I feel like my cut was/is just as bad as when I came in. Not my worst haircut, but surely not the best, couldn't even say it last decent. Not worth the $18.50, it's a $7 haircut at best. What a horrible experience. Drove an hour an half from Cripple Creek in the middle of the windstorm of 2017 to an appointment. The lady was rude at check in, didn't greet, seemed shocked I had an appointment, gave no time frame and I went to sit on my own. nearing 30 minutes of ZERO communication, I walked out. The cutters were just BS-ing with their clients mom or grandma or whomever, and seemed shocked I was walking out. You get what you pay for, and in terms of this experience it was the customer service experience. Been here twice, first time was a decent experience. Gave it a second go, and found out that it must have been just a fairy tale. To make it worse, I think the greeter/cutter was a manager as she was talking about hiring people. We asked for a specific stylist because one time she cut it the best and the other guy said " did I get a bad review or something?" As if to put us on the spot or something. Then I sat down and the lady rushes through my haircut and we get up to pay and tried to use a coupon that turned out to be expired, so I told her to hold on and she rushed the checkout process before I could use the non expired one and then I showed her and she said "nope can't use it". Just a horrible crap attitude all the way around from the staff who obviously doesn't want to work hard. My advice to them is if you don't want to work hard there's plenty of other jobs that might interest you. read more

I originally went to the SmartStyle inside the Walmart across the street just a few days ago and my hair was so messed up i was either wearing a hoodie or a hat to come outside. So when I was contacted by Barbara to get me back in to this Cost Cutters to redo it, I was extremely happy and pleased with the service I received from Kitty! She was personable, friendly and sympathetic to the worries of my own hair. She said she "got me" and yes ma'am she did just that. Took my son in for a haircut to look good for his first day of school. Big mistake! I got there they told me it would be a 45 minutes wait so I put my name down and left. Came back in 45 minutes still had to wait about another 30 minutes. The lady (I think her name was Kari) that cut my sons hair was cutting another boys hair and when she was done the father seemed to be pretty irritated and mad at the job she had done. I didn't want to have her cut my sons hair but though maybe it was the boys fault for moving or not staying still. She said the boy had been falling asleep. She started cutting my sons hair and when she started the styling part I knew it was her that didn't know what she was doing. I had to pout out that it wasn't even. I asked her to clean up the sides and the back of his neck and idk what she did but she nicked a few times. I won't be going back to this place. read more

We booked an appointment with Michelle who answered the phone. Told her we wanted to see Carletta. She booked it for 2:30 the next day.
