Got 3 extractions with Dr. Chandra...she was the best! 10/10 experience. She must have been gentle with the procedure because I felt zero pain post op! Im on day 5 and still no pain, swelling was super minimal and slight yellow bruising but nothing like i imagined or have heard of. Im healing great and have not had any issues. Overall such a great experience here. Ive neglected my dental hygiene for some time. I nervously gave this place a call, was booked for a consult within that week, and then surgery the week after! Such an easy process that i had delayed for so long. Abigail in front staff was super helpful in explaining my insurance and costs. Check-in and payment was always quick. Dr. Chandra made me feel comfortable and at ease. I will definitely be recommending and considering for future implants. Happy I chose this place for care! The office is super clean and modern! Nice updated technology & equipment!

Best dental/oral surgery experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I came in with one of the worst toothaches I've ever experienced, and they handled everything quickly and professionally. What really stood out is how genuine and honest the doctor and staff are--you can tell they truly care about their patients and aren't trying to upsell unnecessary treatments. I didn't even go through with booking an appointment, based on the poor experience trying to book an appointment. Whoever answered was not friendly, made me repeat everything (even though I spelled everything out), they don't accept medical insurance (only dental), and couldn't accommodate morning appointments. If even booking an appointment is unpleasant, I can't imagine the procedure would be any better. Medical issues are stressful enough, I want to feel comfortable with the experience. read more

Dr Chandra is an amazing oral surgeon, she is really fair and honest with her feedback! She really cares about her patients and wants the best for them. We came in for a consultation and decided this is where we are going to get the wisdoms removed. She saved us a ton of money!!!! I'm so glad we came here for a second opinion. Dr. Chandra did a molar extraction. One root was broken. The procedure was straightforward -- the body of the tooth came out easily, and digging the root fragment out was a matter of a few seconds. Because I plan to have an implant installed, Dr. Chandra explained the possibility I may need a bone graft to strengthen the socket. That's an extra $708. I told her to use her discretion, but apply the stuff only if there was a clear need. She decided against using it, which was wonderful for two reasons: I saved money, and it showed me I wasn't dealing with a crook, as so many dentists are. She has an air of relaxed confidence, unhurried, with a touch of humor. She was happy to answer questions. After the lidocaine wore off, I took a couple Naprosyn for minor discomfort and was fine. I'm writing this two days later and have no pain. read more

I had the most pleasant experience at Costa Mesa Oral Surgery this past January. Staff were very professional & friendly. I was seen by Dr Lee Pham for my concern that had for almost a year and couldn't wait longer. Dr Lee Pham is very knowledgeable, Thorough & caring. He addressed all my questions and explain what needs to be done. The procedure went very smooth and recovery time was much better & shorter than my anticipation. Dr Lee Pham called me in the afternoon of procedure to check on me and if I have an any questions or concerns. I was very impressed. read more

Let me first start off with, I dislike dentists and express my opinion to that point pretty freely. The staff was great but the Dentists, Dr. Chandra and Dr. Pham were both exceptional. I was referred to Dr. Chandra to have my wisdom teeth removed and had my initial appointment with Dr. Chandra. Dr. Chandra was very pleasant, easy to converse with and felt completely at ease. My appointment was scheduled a week later. When I arrived home the gums around my wisdom teeth were on fire. My wife called in to reschedule and interacted with Chris, the office manager. Chris was awesome, always had a smile, made the change and scheduled my appointment for the next day with Dr. Pham. Dr. Pham did a small evaluation and wanted to make sure his diagnosis was the same as Dr. Chandra. I did not want to be put under anesthesia and I guess that is not normal when removing 4 wisdom teeth. Dr. Pham, the true professional offered me laughing gas to make me more comfortable even when I refused that. Once my mouth was fully numb, Dr. Pham had all 4 wisdom teeth removed within 45 minutes and I was awake through the whole process and comfortable the whole time. The office was beautiful, the staff was off the charts, A+ for Chris and Dr. Chandra. I have to really give rave reviews for Dr. Pham, the consummate professional. He did the job remarkably with a tough patient that didn't want to be there. Dr. Pham and the staff at Costa Mesa Oral Surgery were amazing!!! Dr. Pham answered all my questions and he's super nice. The staff were soo friendly and the office is beautiful. I had my two remaining wisdom teeth removed (under general anesthesia)and felt zero pain when I got home. I took my meds as prescribed and Dr. Pham called me after to check up on me. My highest recommendation, Dr. Lee Pham. I can't express how happy I am to have found him and his staff is just a bonus. He is very thorough. We never felt rushed he took his time explaining everything and helped my 15-year-old to be put at ease for her upcoming surgery, which she was diagnosed with GCCG. I will keep coming back when needed and definitely refer to my friends and family. read more

Dr. Chandra and staff are the best! They could have easily took my money with all the services they gave me but they decided that the referring dentist made a mistake with my x-ray. Instead, they charged me the bare minimum and spent a lot of time reassuring me that my mouth was ok. This was the most professional and understanding staff I have ever encountered. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone. read more

Had 2 wisdom teeth removed in just a few minutes after 10 mins of prep. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. No drilling sounds and zero pain. Much easier than a cavity. Dr. Lee Pham is amazing. read more

I had put off going to an oral surgeon for quite some time. My new dentist recommended that I see one immediately to check a small issue. I called several providers through my insurance to inquire about setting up an appointment and to determine if they were in network and took my insurance. After several frustrating calls, I talked to Chris at Costa Mesa Oral Surgery. Chris was extremely helpful, cheerful and very knowledgeable about benefits. Chris should be video taped and do training on customer service for doctors and dentists. Dr. Pham was such a nice and gentle doctor. He explained my options and did not pressure me into doing something I did not want done. In the end, it was nothing and so glad I finally took care of it. I wish I could give them 10 stars. read more

Would recommend 110%! The entire staff was so accommodating, and so so friendly. I almost wish they were a regular dentist so I could make then my home dentist. But if you need oral surgery, seriously don't go anywhere else. Not to mention the entire office was sparkling clean and very nice. read more

He then asked if I wanted to remove and replace that tooth too but I would have had to pay for it myself. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave because I was afraid more damage could happen. I originally went in for work on one tooth that only had a stain. Somehow, I was convinced to replace that tooth, but the process ended up involving shaving down the two healthy teeth next to it in order to place the replacement tooth in the middle. If I had known from the beginning that this was the plan, I would have never agreed to it. Now the chipped tooth has a white mark/stain that people constantly mistake for food stuck between my teeth. On top of that, I was told the dental work would last around 10 years, but it did not even last 6. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with this dentist. If so, please contact me.

Dr. Fong was very detail oriented and helped me pick a perfect color match (you can't even tell which teeth have Bioclear), made sure my bite was good after treatment, and basically gave me the aesthetic I wanted without any interruption to my comfort.
