We hired Trace to tackle a tricky concrete restoration job: about 1,500 sq ft of mottled patio from a worn stain, plus a polished concrete countertop and some cracked pool coping. Most contractors would've seen dollar signs. Not Trace. He walked us through the pros and cons of recoating and was upfront about the ongoing maintenance and future costs. I was fully prepared to spend the money, but he was clear: you might not get your value here. That level of honesty is incredibly rare. His crew showed up on time, masked off the area with precision, and treated our home like it was their own. When the initial test blast didn't remove the mottling as hoped, he didn't just push forward. Instead, he explained the risks of going more aggressive and recommended not proceeding with that part of the job--because the improvement wouldn't justify the cost. Let that sink in: he talked himself out of a big chunk of work because it wasn't right for us. When was the last time a contractor did that? Trace is the kind of professional you hope to find but rarely do. I'll update this once the rest of the work is completed, but based on integrity alone, he's already earned 5 stars.

The challenge was to make it a comfortable lounge and entertaining space and provide safety for our young child. Ross came up with a genius design to satisfy our requests and his team was responsible and reliable. However, I read the consistent positive reviews of Moses and League of Our Own and decided to allow him to quote on a job. We were refinishing and re-homing a marble kitchen countertop and stripping and re-applying polyurethane to our manufactured wood floors. We had received another estimate from a "highly recommended" flooring company and the salesman had told us what we could and couldn't do. When Moses arrived, he informed me that he wasn't the salesman - he was the business!!! And, there is nothing better than dealing with the person who is actually doing the work. Moses corrected all of the previous misconceptions that we had and said that we could do it all - exactly as we wanted it! And he did!!! From carefully moving our furniture to meticulously checking and re-checking all of the irregularities in both the floor and the marble, he refused to stop until the project was perfect. After many unsuccessful attempts of hiring a hardscape contractor, Saloman arrived punctual to provide an estimate for my backyard project. He completed the work timely as promised and left the entire area better than he found it. Impressed with the backyard hardscape, we asked him to start on our front yard. As expected, Saloman is a true artist that loves his work. Unlike previous contractors, he meticulously trimmed and shaped our palm trees without damaging the trees or any surrounding plants. Also, he even cleaned our roof that was full of debris. The most impressive thing about Saloman is that he works on each project with such care and attention to detail as though it's his own house. And unlike some of the other contractors (we got many other quotes), Saloman's prices were very reasonable and lower than all the other contractors. We will definitely keep his number for all future projects.
