We went to the Gage Blvd location, ordered 3 daily specials, 2 sweet pork enchiladas. When my daughter got home our orders only had 1 enchilada in each. My daughter also stated the guy that made our order had a lot of trouble understanding the menu and probably contributed to our order being wrong. I called the restaurant and no one answered, big surprise. I visited their website and let them know the service poor and we didn't get what we ordered. I did rate them low for for this. They offered to return my call, I left my number but guess what, no one ever called. I've waited three weeks! The service is usually OK and the food average. Since they didn't have the decency to call me and try and correct this issue we won't go back. If your looking for fast Mexican food, go somewhere else you'll probably be treated better! read more

I called in an order at 1:20 got there at 1:30 to pick it up and they hadn't even started on it yet, they were super slow when I showed up and then they progressively got busier as I'm sitting there waiting for my food. 40 minutes goes by of me sitting inside waiting for my food so it's been almost an hour since I've ordered and they have 8 staff members working the line right in front of my eyes. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and saw that the person making it put three pieces of chicken in it. I'd like to know who is training these people it's absolutely disgusting. Our favorite place to eat. We tried QDOBA today because it's Sunday and Costa Vida is closed. We were so sad. No comparison even though it seems it would be since they are basically he same restaurant. Costa Vida is so tasty. The sweet pork burrito has such a good taste and the spicy ranch dip for chips reminds me of Chuys in Nashville area! So good! Try them. Plus the vibe is 100% different. They do come up as vegan in yelp but that pretty much means you can get rice (one kind) and beans. The tortillas are fresh as well as the pico. The people working were pleasant. The place was clean. One downer is that they serve on foil plates (dine in or take out) and these aren't recycled. read more

I would really like to give this facility five stars, but the inconsistent quality & service leave me little choice. Just today I placed an online order (a burrito and a salad) that was, when I went to pick it up, not ready even though there was only two other customers in the restaurant. In fact, the order itself was still sitting in the register, having never been seen (I'd placed it an hour earlier) The staff was apologetic and quick to respond, whipping up my order in record time ~ not necessarily a good thing. When I got it home (8 minutes away) the salad was sloppy wet and the side tortilla slimy and stuck together. The burrito was sparse. It wasn't what I expected when we seen the sign and went in, but I'm not going to take any stars away because of that. Where I'm from Mexican restaurants serve mini tacos and tortas, but Costa Vida was more like a Del Mar. It was very good! The girl that helped us was very friendly and helpful because we didn't know what to order. The lobby was clean and the line where the food was was well stocked and clean. I love how they make the tortillas right in front of you, and how fresh all the ingredients are. I loved the food, and I thought it was delicious. The portions are generous, and the staff has always been very friendly. The decor is bright, colorful, and fun. It is very clean, and we have always had a great experience. I think there needs to be more pictures. The one picture that is up right now does it no justice. The burrito can come topped with fresh Pico De Gallo, sour cream, lettuce, guacamole, sauce, and cheese. Soooooo delicious! I wish I had an image. I would recommend this place to everyone, and as someone who tries to be honest with my reviews, and has fairly high standards, I hope you consider it. read more

Super fantastic food and the cooks were super friendly but the cashier after I went and sat at my table she started cleaning the floors and tables then she was taking out the trash and dragged the trash right next to my table as I was eating. Disappointed because I told them I did not like rice and beans and cost vida said I could have a little extra chicken they said yes then they said they would have to charge me extra for the chicken. Then I asked for guacamole and they charged me a dollar for a tablespoon. read more

I eat at the other 2 nearby Costa Vida locations frequently. The service is always fast and the food is good. However, I've eaten at this location twice, and both times, the service was horrendous. With only one person in line ahead of me, it took nearly 20 minutes to get a simple plate of nachos. Several ingredient trays were empty, and employees kept handing my food off to each other and losing track of its status. Until they manage themselves better, I will avoid this location and go to the others. read more
