This is my favorite Costco location, the employees at this one are extra friendly. I keep my membership for tires, gas, rotisserie chicken, romaine lettuce, mushrooms, nuts, bread, lunch meat, batteries, frozen 91% lean ground beef, etc. But it is always nice just to drop by the snack bar and get a cheap salad that is big enough for two people. The monthly fliers usually have at least one super deal. The prescriptions are super cheap. The tire center has always done a great job. Really one of the best Costcos around in my opinion. read more

This is a pretty standard Costco, so I won't belabor what it's all about - I'm sure you know. What makes this one different for me is that it feels surprisingly uncrowded, even during their busy time. They have more sampling stations than I have seen, which is cool. I've also been really happy with their alcohol selection - not so much their wine, because that's a little ruff, but their beer and liquor selection is good. And I love that they often carry local beer (Marble IPA - yum!!) and one or two Gruet sparkling wines. I come to this Costco more often than I have gone to others in the past, so they are doing it right, for sure! read more

Costco is one of my favorite places to shop. They have great merchandise at good prices. I buy all my paper products, meat, coffee, nuts, liquid soap and cream there. I often buy wine, some vitamins, and other various products. We always look at Costco electronics before we buy anywhere else. We have bought computers, TVs and vacuums there over the years. They have a no questions asked return policy so you can bring anything back even if you have used it for months. Their gas is also priced below everywhere else in town. We love Costco. Got a membership when we moved to NM and have had it for 3 years. The food court is great, we have tried almost everything from there and it is always good. We really enjoy that Costco has been adding more organic foods and produce. That is really why we shop here over Sam's Club. We stock up on the big items here, ex. a 30 pack of tissue boxes! I love that because now I don't have to think about buying tissues for the house for like a year! Costco put on a Military Hour for military families to enter the store one hour prior to opening. For those that came, Costco set out a light breakfast with bagels, fruit, croissants, yogurt, powerbars and the works! It was a really lovely gesture on their behalf to consider their military families, especially is a military city. Although their deals are primarily good, I do find that there are places that sell the same item cheaper outside of the bulk packaging. Their gas prices though are typically the cheapest in town, so that's really where it's at. Also, if you've ever ate at their little bistro, it's well worth the trip most days. From their pizza to their chicken bakes, all the way to their not-so-Disney- churros, it's all pretty delicious! read more

Love this Costco! Always such great finds and deals. It's great to go during different times of the month if you can. Why? Because on certain days they they stock up on items that you wouldn't normally find here. Whether it's food, clothing items or household stuff it's great to make sure you getting a great deal! I once purchased the Ninja intelli-sense system priced reg. $190 at Costco and around $200 everywhere else for $130! They also have an amazing selection of alcohol. So if your buying for a crowd or wanting to stock up on some great deals this would be a great place to start. There's also the perk of samples! If you go during the week there's less variety of samples but also less people so it's easier to sample everything without loosing to much time. However, during the weekend especially around 1-2 they have a huge variety of samples. I've even gotten doggy treats and soap samples! Although the membership seems pricey at first the perks of savings if your a regular Costco shopper are well worth it. Finally the staff if very helpful and friendly. read more

Very satisfied with my visit. A simple quick dinner in the food court. Hot dog. Nice and hot. Can't beat $1.50. "It's hard to get in here", yeah that's what I told your mom. Kind of mean and pointless to down vote a business based on traffic that really can't be controlled. It is what it is. Take it or leave it. And if you think this is hard, try the one by cottonwood at 5pm. Floors are clean this visit. I had visited a couple weeks ago and just ate in my car. Great store. I can't seem to get out of here for under $200. Their Kirkland product line is awesome. They have a nice selection of clothes, tools, housewares, and many many food options. I love their free samples. I always get a hot dog and soda for $1.50 if I can. I also appreciate that, unlike Walmart, they actually have all their cashier lanes open. There is still usually a wait, but it isn't nearly as frustrating as going to Walmart. They keep things moving. read more

Not in the safest part of town, but close to base and is conveniently close to 40 and Chick-fil-A. Has everything a college student needs: gasoline, premade meals, salads, cheesecake, fish oil supplements, and vitamins. Yes, an odd eclectic mix of things, none of which involve beer; that's how you know I look more like a mom than a college student. All at a cheap price. I usually go to Walmart because I don't have enough in my household to buy in bulk, but on the rare occasion that I go to Costco such as this week when I needed gas, I'm reminded of the better value and better clientele. Went to Your Food Court Kiosk to order a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza. I was very disappointed because I couldn't order Mushrooms with Pepperoni? The food court employees told me that I couldn't order Mushrooms unless they were with the other veggie mix. I thought they were kidding? But they said that Mushrooms cannot be ordered separately?? We have been Ordering pizza for +18 years from your Store. They changes speed up your food lines but what happened to food choices?? Always super busy at check out but no express check out lane. Clean and well organized but they keep moving stuff around so it can be hard to find. Products come and go. Annoying that the different Costcos in town stock different products. No WiFi and that's lame these days Gas station lanes too tight and whole station poorly placed. Always more expensive than the other Costcos in town. Tire department is a nightmare and they can really butcher a car. Corporate attitude is that the member exists for the convenience of the company. Costco is worth the price of membership only if you have the cash back Costco Visa card.. read more

I've been a member for a few years at this location now and I enjoy shopping here. The staff is always helpful and the parking is never an issue. Their optometry department is especially helpful for accommodating eye needs. Really, no complaints whatsoever. read more

Bulk buying heaven. My wife and I have been members for over a decade. We have always made enough on the rewards check for the year to pay for the next years membership. As owners of a Bull Mastiff we save a fortune with the Kirkland dog food which is actually diamond brand. The best meat and seafood for the money in town. Fruit and veggies are actually ripe and in season. Electronics, furniture, yard and garden, toiletries, pharmacy, tire and auto, the list goes on and on. We still go to smiths for certain things that we don't want to buy in bulk such as milk and fresh herbs. The savings we enjoy at Costco really helps us stretch our budget. read more

Not much needs to be said about Costco. I love the products they carry, the prices, and their returns are always easy. The only area for improvement would be to put one closer to my home, but that could also be a problem for my bank account. My favorite 'every trip' purchases include the make fresh tortillas, Kirkland cinnamon raisin bread, and fresh produce. The seasonal items are almost always worth trying also. read more

Not a member, need new TV and laptop. Wanted just slice of pizza then check out the electronics. Upon arrival, NO!!! you have to be a member to eat at the food court. Can I get a pass to get a slice of pizza? (didn't tell them really want to check out the electronics, then get membership). NO!!! you can't have a pass just to eat in the snack bar per phone conversations from service desk and floor mgr Kenny M. who was not available. Just purchased tires for my duly two months ago. Made a appointment went in to get tires rotated and after waiting was called and informed they couldn't rotate because tires are wearing a little off. Thats why you rotate the tires. Truck is new and in alignment, still under warrant. Took it to discount tire and had to pay for rotation. Should be included with tires purchased from Costco. I've noticed that the lines at all of Costco's locations are getting longer. Yesterday I walked in, took one look at the checkout lines and walked out because there was nothing I needed urgently. Another irritant is that the line to leave the store often is nearly as long as the checkout lines. Since I seldom buy more than 8 or 10 items at a time, I'd love to see the kind of express checkout lines supermarkets have had for years. Better yet, self-service checkout kiosks would be a big improvement in the shopping experience. read more

Optometrists services. Went there on a whim. The ladys working behind the desk worked us in with no issues. The Dr. Louisa OD is phenomenal! Her patient, bedside manner is awesome! Highly recommrnded. In Costco at the optical center. We found our self a bit at a loss. Costco optical is not an Eyemed provider. After calling we found that even out of net work the bottom line we would still be saving. Costco Opticsl prices for branded frames are much less than other local merchants selling the same brands at much higher prices. Even buying out of network we saved a few dollars. Until a few months ago I would have given Costco 5-stars. Everything except the nuts at Christmas and the double extra flavorless frozen green chile were great. Then they decided to go into direct competition with Whole Foods and they fell to 4-stars. So many of the wonderful & very low priced frozen foods such as the blueberries became EQUALLY wonderful but much more expensive frozen ORGANIC foods. No better, no worse, just more expensive. They explained to me that they are still much lower price than Whole Foods. Who cares!!!! I never shopped at Whole Foods because it is so damned expensive. I still love the place but not nearly as much as I did. read more

Love this Costco. Everyone working here is so nice. It's always clean & stocked with all the items you go to Costco for. Gas lines are not to busy. The location has a steady stream of customers but parking is never an issue. I would recommend this Costco to anyone. Their Kirkland bottles of water SUCK! The plastic keeps getting thinner and thinner. It has finally happened: 2 of the 3 water bottles I picked out of our case were cracked and the water went all over. I did not puncture the bottle with anything while opening the case and I did not drop the cases of water at any time. read more

been with Costco since they were price club on morena in san diego.....so over 30 yrs. been to more Costcos in this country, and Hawaii than probably most people. I LOVE COSTCO! but.....moving to Albuquerque and going to THIS Costco has been a horrible experience. the wait lines were unbelievable! most cashiers closed...NO SELF SERVE, takes thirty minutes to check out at peak times. watched customers beg cashiers to open more lanes. one time i went to mgr who told me two cashiers had called in sick. what a mess this location is. too bad, product line is excellent, quality and prices surpass any big box store but this location needs big help with its service staff. read more

We shop at Costco weekly, spend hundreds of dollars a month there. We showed up to the tire shop right after opening as walk ins to have the wheels on our truck switched out. No time expectation was given they just said they would call when ready. We spent the next two hours walking around the warehouse, spent two hundred dollars in addition to the ninety for the service. Finally got sick of waiting and went to check on the truck. Had not been touched, the guy at the desk had no idea when it would be serviced and was hesitant to let us leave to get our other vehicle so we could get on with our day and then belittled us for not having an appointment to begin with. We asked for the keys and to make an appointment for another day which he assisted us with and then stated we had to go to member services for a refund since we had already paid. My bf waited in that line while I stood outside with our cart. The refund took another half hour and he got attitude there since he wasn't the member, though they gladly take his money regularly without question. Final note, Adam Lopez who "helped us" at the end is the same guy who took our keys and money initially and who later told us "they should've told you how long it would take when you dropped it off." They who? You? What an embarrassing mess from such a big company. Although not surprising compared to other issues we've had with their tire shops and optical offices. read more

Our membership began when it was Price club in 1985. Since then, we've spent an average of $10,000 a year, consistently. Over the past few years, we had enough of the all too frequent rude attitude from the employees. The last straw was over a problem with a $1400 item. When the manager blew us off, I wrote a letter to corporate and they never replied. We cut up our Costco cards and sent them in with an explanation and still no response. No problem. We switched to Sam's, which really isn't in the same league. They don't have the selection or quality of Costco, but what they DO have, is a generally friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. We work too hard for our money and will spend it where we are appreciated. read more

The membership for the dog food alone is worth it for me, but there are so many other benefits. Has anyone else noticed that those rotisserie chickens are twice the size of those found in grocery stores, and cost less too??? I have. Prime steaks? Yes, please. Health and wellness? Check! There are a lot of things at Costco that don't make sense to small family living, but the things they do have that benefit any size family make the membership fee so totally worth it. Everyone at the Eubank location is awesome. They all seem genuinely happy with their jobs, and they are all very helpful. I have never had a bad experience with an employee there, and that makes me a happy camper. The guarantee in the products they carry is pretty great too. I've had to return a few things over the years, but they took the items back with no hassle, and I was able to replace them with the same or better product every time. Kudos to Costco! read more

This is my favorite pharmacy ever! The staff are all friendly, helpful, professional, though and kind. Every time I go there they exceed my expectations. An example: when I was in on Saturday the person receiving my prescription told me that they would be closing for lunch in 10 minutes, asked me stay nearby, and handed me a beeper. In 5 minutes my Rx was ready, before I could even finish my other shopping. Great people providing great service! Thanks, Costco! read more

Just a regular Costco warehouse. Nothing out of ordinary that shouts magnificent, fabulous, out of this world service! The employees treat everyone civilly sometimes barely concealing that thought that this is just a job that gives my salary so I do what I do. I don't blame them, well at least they do it to everyone, not singling me out I hope. The arrangement is the same, samples are not so exciting, they cut out some maybe cost cutting. The place is clean on the bright side,the greeters still smile, parking is not bad. So why do I keep going back? One, it is conveniently close to my house and I love the churros, dollar something hotdog and the pizza. I can pick up a family size pizza I called ahead of time and it tastes great and only 9 dollar something. This beats other pizza delivery places. read more

5 Stars for COSTCO Optical on Eubank. Highly recommend Dr. Luisa Alvarez for your next eyeglasses exam. Practical, straight forward, interested in saving you money! I never have a positive thing to say about anyone in any medical avenue, so this was a first! For a reasonable fee you can also bring in your own eyeglass frame. Got the blue coat (for looking at computers so much) Wow! A huge help! That and the preservative free Refresh eye drops sold in a box of 100 at Costco. Who cares about vision insurance? I ordered two pairs of glass last Tuesday, July 3rd, and was told it would take 5-7 business days before they'd be ready. I figured with the holiday it would be the 13th or 14th before I could pick them up, but guess what? It's July 9th and I'm on my way to get them. Love Costco. read more

I'll preface this with the fact that I believe Costco has good deals and tasty samples. The 5 stars is for what I consider exceptional customer service. I bought a relatively cheap desktop computer 2 years ago. After 16 months the motherboard literally caught on fire. The original manufacturer only had a one year warranty but when you buy a computer from Costco they double it automatically with no additional cost. After the fire, they replaced the motherboard for no charge but the computer still would sporadically turn off. Unfortunately, I really needed the machine and was unable to send it back immediately. Although it took a few phone calls, on literally the very last day of the warranty, Costco decided to replace the machine with a newer and slightly better computer at no cost. The new computer is a different brand but with better specs across the board and comes with another 1 year warranty. Yes, the computer was a bit of a fiasco but Costco came through with better customer service than I could ever have expected. read more
