I found out yesterday the Costco two year guarantee on Electronics is a bogus false advertising promise. "Your Satisfaction is our top priority they promise." They had these stickers everywhere around Black Friday claiming a two-year Costco warranty and the option to purchase 2 plus additional years of warranty. I took back a defective 75 in Samsung QLED television that stopped working yesterday to the warehouse in Albuquerque. They told me after 90 days that I had to deal directly with the manufacturer. They washed their hands of the sale and when I brought up the two-year warranty that Costco had promised. They said too many people were taking advantage of Costco so they had to change the policy. Not only did they not honor their two-year coverage promise, they literally laughed at me as I turned my back to them and took my Television back to my vehicle in the parking lot. I have never felt so disrespected in dealing with a retailer in my entire life. I have been a Costco member since Price Club was purchased by Costco. I have always encouraged others to join Costco in the past. I can assure you I will never make another major purchase from this company again. I always made enough purchases yearly to have my Executive Membership pay for itself on the yearly money back I receive. That will also change as I will be asking for a refund on my membership. I am too angry with the way I was treated to want to return to their Warehouse to make another purchase so the cost of the over $100 dollar membership will no longer be worth it if I no longer feel comfortable shopping there. Now I can see how Amazon is taking over the Retail market. When there is no advantage to shopping at a local retailer. Why bother with all the fuss when it is more convenient and less aggravating shopping online. At least when they laugh at you behind your back you are not there to listen to them laughing at you as you leave their establishment. read more

Let's admit it. Costco is always wonderful. They have everything you could ever need. They keep the store clean and organized. But I'm leaving this review in regards to the Eye Glasses department. WOW. The friendly service was top notch and I want to personally congratulate Eileen for being so genuine and helping me/my grandmother. My 98 year old grandmother requires quite a bit of patience when assisting her (hard of hearing, etc.) and she was SO KIND and patient with her. She helped her understand all her lens options and now she's super satisfied with being able to see once again. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service. We greatly appreciated it and continue to be proud Costco Members. read more

This morning I was up early ready to go get gas to go to work and Costco has locks on their gas pump handles. So much for the working man or woman huh Costco. I have been very disappointed by this company lately. It seems that these big corporations are taking over and controlling everyone and that's why they shut down the mom and pop stores during this PLANDEMIC. Wake up America and see that our nation is being controlled by a bunch of large corporations that have most hoodwinked. Your so-called government is a federal corporation for profit.
