Costco is a good place to shop. I enjoy looking at the merchandise they have for sale. I didn't like how their parking lot is always so full and crowded. They might want to get a bigger parking lot in the space next to their stores, if possible. Otherwise, maybe they can look into getting a parking structure in their existing parking lot. They sometimes have samples, but the samples are usually slow. I like to try out some of their products. If I like it a lot, I can get it right away. They had a chocolate mousse the other day, it was so delicious. I also liked the cheese. Their food court is also often crowded. They did make some changes to that area of the store recently. I think the set up is a little better. You order at a kiosk and then take the register to the front to get the food. read more

One of the best Costco's in the valley. First sales tax is lower here in Chandler so the savings add up. The location is good as it's conveniently off the 202 if you were coming from downtown and going from 10 then 202 will get you there quickly. Next, the parking lot is pretty big so usually it doesn't take long to find a spot. The store is always well organized and predictable in its design and placement by category. We usually can find staff pretty quickly if we're unable to find a particular item, as a few are frequently stocking or restocking items. At lunchtime there's a great selection of samples even on weekdays. We are thus about to leisurely browse and window shop while we get our essentials or if we were in a hurry, we can just get in, grab our list of items, and quickly check out. Finally, the food court has more seating here and is arranged more comfortably than in other locations with some lined along the side of the food court kitchen where the windows are and you can kind of see into their operations which is fun to watch while you eat. Overall, we find the staff quite friendly here, although some maybe a bit curt and rushed as they're busy. The value at Costco can't be beat, and we're glad for this location, the prices are fair and reasonable, and when items are put on sale, it's even better! read more

ATT kiosk inside COSTCO. This is mostly a review for ATT but COSTCO is allowing this poor service to happen without accountability for ATT's actions. On 4/24/2026 approximately 7 pm I was shopping for a new cell phone and service plan with ATT. I was quoted a Samsung Fold for $68 plus taxes by a rep named Tri. Also, a $100 Costco gift card and pay off my old phone up to $800. I provided all the previous carrier's (COX) info plus transfer pin number. He attempted numerous times to set me up but he couldn't. He had two other assistants and they could not complete the sale. Tri called his supervisor to assist and she could not complete the set up either. We called COX together and COX basically said its ATT's issue because they cleared the transfer. After multiple ATT reps and even a supervisor there was no resolution, no clear answers and no new phone service. They were glad that I left. Something did not seem right so I decided to further investigate. As it turns out Tri isn't an ATT employee, but a third party Costco salesperson that also sells other Costco products at the same store. The $68 price was not real and that's why they refused to process the order because it was price incorrectly (as I confirmed later). On the same night I traveled to a "corporate" ATT store and was informed that ATT/Costco pricing was incorrect and there is no plan in existance at that price. In fact, the comparable phone/plan really costs around $90. Additionally, the real ATT store rep and said they receive several orders where the pricing has been set incorrectly and they have to straighten the mess out. In summary, this ATT/Costco location is unprofessional, misleading and a complete waste of time. Go to a corporate ATT store instead and save yourself a lot of time and trouble. read more

Everyone's ultimate shopping playground! The membership fee is totally worth it for the amazing deals and bulk buys. For the first handful of years with their basic membership, it felt comfortable, but after calculating how much I spent on cold brew and protein (gains...you know?), it made sense to upgrade to the exec membership to get a bigger check at the end of the year. Their Kirkland Signature brand is like finding hidden treasures - top quality and super affordable. I mean, who doesn't want 2 dozen cookies and a bag of chicken that could feed an army? The fresh produce and bakery sections are fantastic, especially the muffins and legendary rotisserie chicken. And the food court? A total win with the unbeatable $1.50 hot dog and soda combo and delicious pizza. Sure, it can get crowded, but the energy is part of the fun, and the speedy checkout keeps things moving. I was wanting to see if it would be worth it to upgrade my Costco membership this year. I have in the past and some years it did not financially benefit me. Today, crew member Jolene served me right! She kindly explained the pros and cons and looked into my account to analysis if it would be worth it to try again this year. Staff considerate and friendly and willing to help when asked. Good prices. Over the years we have always been satisfied with the quality of merchandise and food we purchased and the service we received. Cannot beat the low priced cafeteria food for a snack. Periodic food sampling introduces us to different food items we may not have considered before .. and fun to sample. While getting our membership card at the member service desk, we submitted the drivers license card as required. But all of sudden, we heard "why did you throw the card at me?!", barked the women (Jackie) behind the counter. Bewildered, we realized that we did not hand the card to her directly, but instead dropped it on the desk in her direction,..., "why did you throw the card at me?!" the women shouted again before the manager intervened. Came shopping at this location Friday with my daughter to pick up some items for her apartment. While the layout was different from my usual Costco it was easy to find things and service was great. I recently tried some of the new items at the food court. The Latte Freeze features Cold Brewed Kirkland Signature Columbian Coffee, while the Mocha Freeze is similar but with a shot of chocolate syrup. Both were pretty tasty, and I think coffee lovers who enjoy slushy coffee drinks will like them. I also tried the mango slush a while back, but it wasn't my favorite. It had more of an apple flavor, and if you left it in the fridge too long or didn't drink it quickly, it turned a weird brown color. While I was there, there was an older guy who wouldn't stop yapping about keeping the Costco hotdogs at $1.50. He just went on and on about it, which was a little annoying. On the other hand, I saw a good-looking guy with his son, and they were talking about how much they loved the chicken bakes. It was a nice sight, and they seemed really into it. As for the parking, it's as chaotic as ever--completely packed and hard to navigate. I wonder if they should invest in a parking structure or expand the building to handle the crowds. Although I love Costco with all of my heart, I must say that the volume of people and lines at the gas tanks are getting out of control. I did recently cancel my membership as the prices have gone up and although it's still a great deal, it just doesn't balance the frustration I have with the policies and the volume of people that are here on the weekends and during the week. This location must add more gas pumps as it is packed at all hours of the day and they continue to do gas deliveries in the middle of the busiest times instead of after hours. I also wish that they would have some kind of limitations on size vehicles except on certain days and for early in the morning from 6 AM to 8 AM so that when people bring huge RVs and big trailers through these pumps it doesn't cause such a huge hassle to other customers. read more

Not my favorite Costco but they're located near the junction of the 202 and 101 so stopping here for necessities is sometimes the best option. Small and crowded gas station, most days. Small parking lot so you have to take a walk and park way near the street. Small produce section so they don't carry the variety of things you see (and hope to find here) that you'll see in the Gilbert Costco. The merch is also not as 'fancy' as one would expect in Chandler. For truly exclusive upper quality merch (higher end items), surprisingly that'll be found more at the Queen Creek Costco, which is also small. read more

I feel like I've been coming to Costco for a long time and clearly, I have as everyone here recalls my children being babies and I knew them even before then!!! Despite living a little bit further from this location, it has always been my home Costco as I know what to expect as far as customer service, the organization of the store, and just overall experience... which has always been great Also for those who don't realize sales tax plays a big important part and if you look at all of your neighboring cities they all tend to vary so if you're buying some high-priced items keep in mind that you're paying a little bit more in tax. The city of Chandler has a pretty low tax rate compared to some of the other neighboring ones (not the cheapest though :-) Parking lot isn't so bad and I appreciate the wider than normal spots they have so no door dinging. We've also used this place for eyeglasses and the cost point is a lot more reasonable when comparing to other places. Especially if you got kids!! Return policy is exceptional for all Costco's and the staff here does a good job to try and move the line as quickly as possible. read more

Costco is a pretty good store. Crowded for sure. They are good for the most part for purchases, but the parking lots can get crazy. Sometimes I see cars waiting around. I think it would be interesting if they made a parking structure with a couple of levels so that the parking would be less crazy. They also have little samples I usually avoid because it gets crazy there too. I like getting cakes from there for the family. They usually have it decorated on top for different types of celebrations. They have birthday cakes and celebrations cakes for graduation or new babies. They also have unique items there too every now and then. I heard the pharmacy gives shots as well. They also sell car batteries. They also sell phones. The food in the food court is generally pretty good. I am not so much a fan of the pizza as their other offerings. They have churro in the past. read more

I frequently stop at this Costco on my way home from work. Every few weeks, I'll purchase a rotisserie chicken. The past 3 times I have gotten a chicken there, it has not been fully cooked! The last time on 9/11 was the worst...the breast was pink, and there was still red juices coming from it. I've had to toss all of these chickens, so am extremely disappointed to say I won't be buying rotisserie chickens from Costco again. It was such a quick and easy meal. They should be checking each chicken for internal temperature as this has been an ongoing problem for about 4-6 months. read more

Tire center manager Dan is awful to say the least. I got stuck in a hot mess of the parking lot trying to get over to the parking for the tire center and after having to go through the entrance only to circle around through the busy lines to get back over to the tire center I was 14 minutes late to my appointment and was told I needed to reschedule the appointment because according to Dan there is a 10 minute lenience on being there for your appointment which I checked costcos policy and that is totally made up nonsense. My theory is he just wanted extra time to go to his break for lunch. Frustrated, I did still reschedule later in the day. Arrived on time and then was proceeded to be told that I couldn't have my tires rotated and balanced because they are oversized (35inch tires). I looked this up as well and is total BS. Dan wasted my time not once but twice today and I will never be going back to this Costco ever again. Manager Dan just seems to make things up and from the sounds of the other reviews I'm not the only one that has experienced this. read more

Usually really good place to shop for all the bulk items. Typically everyone is helpful and super nice. We usually make a weekly Costco run with the hubby for essential and some business restock items. However, be that as it may, today's shopping trip was cut short and kind of put us off from buying anything else. As we made our way through the isles we came to the station where a very unhappy looking older woman was trying to present samples of some "Bitching Sauce" - well how fitting to her position. The woman was definitely unpleasant and very rude. My husband approached her to inquire about said sauce and she completely snapped out - "Don't breathe over my station and don't reach over! This is my working space!" He was never even anywhere close to the table. Needless to say the sauce was no longer wanted or needed. The uncalled-for audition for her "shpiel" about the sauce and crackers could've won an Oscar for being a Karen. Very unprofessional, rude and just not a very good way to present a product that you want people to buy. Even a few other people walked right off. Never have I seen a person being so unhappy with what they do. Very simple if you don't like your job then quit. I contacted the store and the manager that answered said that they will bring it up with the worker to pacify my complaint! I personally don't think it will happen. No apologies, no sorry to hear that! Hence the negative review, and very unpleasant shopping trip! Yikes! read more

I have to say, the people that work here are above and beyond. I had a situation where I left my wallet in the shopping cart. Dumb mom brain just completely forgot it. I live about 30 minutes away and realized after I got home that it was missing. About 2 hours later, I drove out and found someone who worked there in the parking lot leaving off of his shift. He was so kind to walk me to lost and found (since I didn't have my Costco card). Low and behold, my wallet was there. I had about $200 cash in there and it was all there. Not a penny taken out. I have to say, it was a blessing and restored my faith in humanity. Thank you for being good and spreading good practice! Your team is awesome! read more

Love this store. Last summer we bought their Gazebo (some assembly required), but after following the 64 pages of instructions and having the 6 friends and 8 ladders it took for the last steps to raise the roof, it's beautiful. All of the pre-drilled holes were perfectly lined up. The only drawbacks were that I didn't like the "out of the box" finish, so I added a couple of coats of poly stain before assembly. Also some of the wooden pieces were not stamped, so I had to do a lot of organizing (of both the wood and hardware before getting started. This is definitely not a project I would "wing". Some other big ticket items we've bought recently and have been really happy with were a loveseat set of recliners for watching TV and a California King-size bed. read more

The overall quality of Costco's food products has declined to a degree that is difficult to overlook. Many bakery items no longer resemble the high-standard products customers once relied on. The muffins, for example, have shifted from a rich, flavorful treat made with real chocolate chips to a noticeably smaller, bland product lacking any meaningful taste. The Danish pastries have experienced a similar decline, the dough has become tasteless, and the cheese filling appears diluted to the point where any actual cheese content is minimal. Longstanding staples such as the dinner rolls are also affected, as they no longer maintain their signature light texture or flavor. Even the rotisserie chicken, historically one of Costco's most consistent and valued items, has become disappointingly bland. The tuxedo cake, previously a standout dessert, has lost the distinctive filling that made it a customer favorite. Most concerning, even the Kirkland Pate, once dependable, has deteriorated in quality to the extent that it is no longer accepted by our cats. These consistent declines across multiple categories diminish the value of maintaining a membership. Why is it that Costco thinks that good customer service means having to wait in lines 8-10 people deep with full shopping carts is the place to purchase a "shop card" gift card? Why is this service not offered at the customer service desk like it used to? I left without purchasing the card since I didn't have time to wait for all of those people to make their purchases. When I called the administrative office, I was told that the cashiers have the ability to open a separate register for something like that. That was not offered at all. Also. Why does Costco require you to have a membership in order to purchase these gift cards? Ultimately the money will only be used at a Costco location, it's not like it is a visa or master card gift card. Won't be renewing my membership here ever again but pretty sure Costco doesn't care about that either. read more

What can you say, Costco is always consistent and full of high quality products. If for no other reason I will alway have a membership for the basics like cheese, dairy, meats, and alcohol. You won't beat the prices anyplace on breads and cereals, I don't know how they can be so much cheaper than any other store. read more

Do I need a Costco size pack of Liquid IV? No --- well actually, yes. I have a problem keeping hydrated so if I don't pick some up, I'd probably dry up like a prune. I also like getting your typical weekly needs, like yogurt ice cream, their sliced sirloin steak, boxes of boba ice cream bars, and sometimes fish (for my seafood loving bf) All in all, Costco has it all! I'm obsessed with Costco. If I could sleep here I would. I come several times a month just to browse and convince myself that my household of two needs more bulk groceries. I don't... This Costco is very close to my house so it's my go to. The store is always clean and well stocked. But I like to visit other Costcos to see what they may have on sale. I give three stars because their customer service is inconsistent. I don't find the employees here to be particularly kind. I understand this place is a mad house especially on the weekends. But I can't genuinely say that I'm treated with kindness. I've been coming here for 4 years and I've had a number of questionable encounters with grumpy employees. I have just come to the understanding that I come this Costco to get what I need and get the hell out, especially on the weekends. read more
