I'm obsessed with Costco. If I could sleep here I would. I come several times a month just to browse and convince myself that my household of two needs more bulk groceries. I don't... This Costco is very close to my house so it's my go to. The store is always clean and well stocked. But I like to visit other Costcos to see what they may have on sale. I give three stars because their customer service is inconsistent. I don't find the employees here to be particularly kind. I understand this place is a mad house especially on the weekends. But I can't genuinely say that I'm treated with kindness. I've been coming here for 4 years and I've had a number of questionable encounters with grumpy employees. I have just come to the understanding that I come this Costco to get what I need and get the hell out, especially on the weekends. read more

This club has become dangerous with new policies angering customers to the point where loud arguments are openly taking place. Their decision to not allow calling in pizza orders has been a poor one. As far as I can tell, some clubs are doing this while some aren't so that means that's it's up to the individual club. Well this club has chosen to make customers wait what they say will be 30 minutes but is actually 50 minutes for 2 pizzas. This has caused customer aggression to increase and I have on several occasions witnessed people yelling and be visibly aggravated by this new change. I've spoken to management about my concerns but they don't care. I canceled my membership today. This place is dangerous. read more

Arrived approximately 14 minutes late for the appointment time. As if they were the government IRS or a DMV, they refused to see us and require a return visit. These guys are not as cool or neat as they think they are. I recommend avoiding this place and going to some either eye doctor or going to the place that starts with N. Rarely can I award 5 stars but Costco at Galleria is very deserving! We shop 2x month sticking to budget. As you know it's easy to go north of budget very quickly. Customer service is in point. Have been to numerous locations across several states and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Clearly incompetent management since it's an isolated incident at a single location. Costco is one of the brand that I highly recommended for the quality of food and services. But these days I start to feel Costco doesnt work in the quality and customer services as they provided before. I bought avocado bag and opened it the next day, all are rotten from inside. Another day my husband came to returned some item. I was waiting for him so I thought I could walked to order some food but she asked to enter from entry door where they can scan my code. Okay, I was just walking from exit door to return door and entry door again. My husband came and he called me while I was waiting for picking my food from food course so I walked there and helped and thought I should return to get the food. Then they asked me No you are not allowed and have to go to the exit. Man, it was annoying asking a customer scanned and walked through the entry door 3 times. I just needed to pick up my food and it was bothering me with the whole nonsense process. I hope Costco can really care what need to be done for customers, continue to check for the quality of fruit before they pack and sell it on the floor, reduce unnecessary steps. read more

The strawberry sundae is still available at this location which is a good thing. The old ladies who sample food are pretty mean at this location. One even reported me for using the sink incorrectly. The store is dead Mon-Wednesday, but picks up after that. The managers are typically non talkative and not helpful. read more

From all the Costco I've been, this one is far beyond my expectations. They are always fully stocked on the products they carry. If there's any recalls, it'll be posted on the wall right next to the Customer Service Department. You simply cannot beat their return policy with or without receipt as long as you have your membership with you, they can look it up and they will help you. They want you to be fully satisfied with the purchased items you bought. I've used their Optical and Pharmacy more often than should. I had my eyes exam done here as well as my kids. I've purchased their package deal on the buy one get one 50% off the second pair of eye glasses. It was their promotions at the time and it was a great deal for me and saved so much money. No other Optical can ever beat this savings, it includes eye glasses cleaning and adjustment anytime at no charge. For my seasonal allergies and sinuses problem, I would buy my medication here at the Pharmacy inside. They always have great prices on their medications. I highly recommend them, because even for a generic brand, it's still a high quality pharmaceutical grade. I have been their customer since 2011 and I had never had issues with Costco. I shop here for bulk items in such great prices and it's perfect size for my big family. I would never compare this store to anything, because I simply cannot. Everything they carry has been top notched for me. I've use up all my membership to its full advantage and it's worth it, if you have a big family like me. read more

I hate leaving a one star on a store that I've had many good experiences when I've gone but thanks to one person her name is Dedra B in the customer service returns counter, unfortunately today she made the visit not so pleasant. I went to return some stuff, and when she asked me what was the reason for returning the items I let her know that I no longer had use for them didn't feel the need to give her a whole story of why I am making my return I didn't feel it was necessary. After I gave her my explanation, she gave attitude and rolled her eyes at me, so then, when I saw her rolled her eyes at me, I said, is that a problem, and she said no, and walked away. Costco has amazing customer service and never have I once been treated the way she treated me today and I don't believe that someone like that belongs in a great company that excels in customer service. read more

Yeah this place has "good deals" but in reality it's aight. Also Greg is a cashier there and while usually pulling my cart up they take it and scan everything for me without me having to ask. This time it was different and Greg just assumed I didn't need boxes for a cart that was completely full. Greg made this experience going to Costco just bland for me with his attitude and smirk comments. This Costco is great in that they sell poke on the weekends. When I went they were offering limu, wasabi, and spicy poke. The attendant provided friendly service and check out was no problem. The only thing I don't really like about this Costco is that the parking lot isn't as spacious as the Tempe location and it can be hard to get to your spot in line at check out since there isn't a lot of space between the check out counters and goods for sale. read more

Only reason I'm giving Costco a three is because I've been coming here for five years and had no issues. Today the self check out woman and the gentleman were talking extremely rude to customers not just me but everyone around them. And someone else said something to them, and told them to stop yelling at customers for just trying to check out at their own pace, why I'm giving you guys two less stars is because the guy who spoke to me acted like I was stupid.... He said please just press the green button as though i cant see the screen on my own... bro I just got to that screen and you don't need to helicopter over me.... add the attitude tone of this dude where you see fit... first off I know I'm blonde and have big tits and this may give you the assumption that I'm stupid but I'm not stupid I went to Harvard... It's funny because I've only ever worn sports clothes and covered myself up but this is the first day I showed up in a bathing suit and a cover-up and felt like your employees had no self-control. Costco has become almost routine after not going here for many many years although we had the membership. What got me coming in more routinely? Well it certainly wasn't the Saturday crowds that include the extended family shopping the food samples. Nice selection of Maui Jim's. Coconut oil, biscuits, occasional toy and the occasional change of food for the dogs. Keto options. Cheaper to get a half gallon of heavy whipping cream here than to pick up a couple of pints at any other store. Seasonal items -shoes, beach/picnic/weekend needs. Towels. Their Charisma line is quite plush and the price can't be beat. Color options very limited but they had a color I wanted. Whole rotisserie chicken for less than five bucks. Decadent desserts. (Well Marie Calendars, guess ya should have stayed.) Alcohol -hard liquor, beer, wine. Cafeteria like situation. Prescription drugs. No membership needed to take advantage of this, optical, or the audiology. Tires. Vacations. Automobiles. Oh yeah, lemme tell ya something. We couldn't get a better deal from the dealership than what Costco was offering. More paperwork, but it cost much less. So Yesterday while we were shopping at this Costco, an older Asian lady was manning one of the sample booths. While we were walking by, one of the Costco Mgrs stopped at the booth and said, " 5 dolla 5 dolla make you holla ". I couldn't believe this. Is this the type of hostile work environments employees are subjected to? My daughter was with me, and we were both disgusted at this behavior. I went to the food court and got a slice of cheese pizza. It was some of the worst pizza I've ever had and man is it hard to make bad pizza. It was so soggy and grease-sodden that I had to roll it up to eat it. On top of that, they were all out of napkins, so I had nowhere to wipe my greasy hands. I had a "Supervisor" basically accost me for asking a simple question. I asked why they were checking my membership again when they had already checked it at the door. YES, more happened than what I am sharing, its just too long to share. My point is He snatched my membership card out of my hand and threatened me saying, "you wont be shopping here for long," then took off with my card. When he returned he said "he wrote down all my information". Needless to say, now I am concerned this hothead has my personal information and will show up at my house. I reported it to another supervisor at customer service. She was very nice and listened to me and my concerns and said she would run it up to her manager which I hope she did. This is for the ladies...the world is changing, we all know it...this "Supervisor at the Self Checkout" was unprofessional, rude and threw his aggressive energy around without a problem. If you go to this store do NOT ever be alone in the self checkout. If a male with this energy (believe me ladies, you'll know) approaches you claiming to be a supervisor DEMAND another supervisor to be present with you. Big fan of this Costco! I could spend days in there, just soaking up the deals. This location is rare and awesome with it's scanning system. You get a scanner from a display, scan each item as you place it in your cart and skip the long lines for self-scan lines which automatically put your list of items in the register for you to check out. You can buy such a large variety of products here, ranging from: travel to furniture, movie tickets to bulk flowers. The booze is cheap and the food high quality. My husband and I often purchase their parmesan spinach dip for entertaining and their croissants and rotisserie chickens for meals throughout the week. These are the absolute best chickens that we have bought at a store...no grocery store or KFC can compare. There may be an annual membership fee, but it pays for itself if you buy 10 or so items per year. The only downside...you must use debit, cash, or American Express. Be sure to have your card ready when you enter and receipt out when you are leaving. read more

I use to love this Costco, but it has changed. The self checkout lines are no longer self checkout. Staff will force you to allow them to scan. You have to have your membership card checked 3 times (including at the door) and staff aren't friendly. Note: The rep today at self checkout only asked to see my card and no one else infront of behind me...) why me?. They claim it's to move the line along but this has happened even when there isn't a line. The experience hasn't been great and I dread coming here now. read more

I have been shopping at this Costco for years. I even drive farther to go to this particular store. So when I needed my prescriptions refilled I figured I might as well do it here. At the time remember thinking it was strange how rude the employees where for a Costco store. I had a 90 day supply filled in April. Well this week when I get to the bottom of the bottle I almost swallowed a dime. At first I thought how could that get in there. I live with my fiancé and I thought about it. Any strange people in my house. Nope. It was either the cat, the cleaning girl or it was sold to me that way. No one else has been in my house over that time. Then I counted how many pills are left and clearly they put the dime in there to throw off the count because I'm short 21 pills. How do I know the exact amount? Because I have two prescriptions I take together. If this doesn't concern you I want to state that I found the dime when I almost swallowed it. Normally I take my pills at night in the dark. Thank good I had the light on on this particular day. I'm outraged that something I put in my mouth touched a dirty old dime. I informed a manager at Costco who had the pharmacy manager call me. And he lied saying he left a voice mail. I tried calling back but got the front desk and no one knew who called. They think I'm lying about this. They won't even call me back or leave a voice mail message. The attitude is why am I the first one to make this accusation. So I beg you if you had this happen to you also please leave a review.
