Today I had 4 new tires put on my car. I left and thought all was good. Then later today I found myself stalled on the side of the road with a flat. That's crazy, who does that happen too?! Anyway I called Costco and they gave the roadside 800# and told me that once they put my spare on to come back. So I showed up and they got me right in to see what happened. We joked saying we hope it was a nail and not something they did. Here to find out it was an error. Someone installed it wrong. Now I could have been mad but I wasn't. Errors happen and I was just thankful I wasn't hurt or anyone else. But then I was WOWED with amazing service. When Costco makes a mistake they take care of you. And this is why to continue to shop here. I've lived in AZ for 12 years and have shopped at Costco for the entire time. They have never made an error and I've always loved them. 1 error in 12 years but then went over and above to correct it, well that shows just what a great place and people Costco has! I love Costco! I'm not even a member here and I love coming (don't worry, I always come with members). It's busy on weekends (as expected) but slower on weeknights. Staff are friendly, food/drinks are cheap and I always spend way too much money here! On a side note, my boyfriend and I just bought our bedroom furniture set here and we are super impressed with the quality and price. Furniture stores are charging double or even triple what we paid for and we are completely happy with our purchase! I also like to browse Costco online to see what's not in store. Costco is truely an amazing store. Great prices, great products and great customer support. I was leaving the store last week and as always they checked my receipt and cart to make sure all was good. They noticed that I was charged for 2 bottles of Kettle One, but I only bought one. They quickly called another employee who promptly brought me the money they overcharged me. Go Costco! read more

They have a terrific return policy, they have a great selection of foods (lots of specialty foods already made) and have great stuff for parties, good prices on most stuff, nice flowers, and terrific hors d'oeuvres on Saturday and Sunday. I don't really see the savings at Costco and it is especially difficult if you live in a smaller place to store the giant boxes of bulk items. The door people are similar to prison guards, demanding you show a membership card prior to entering. I met my wife at the store after work, she has a corporate card and was already inside, the guy acted like he was doing me a favor to enter and go meet her. The whole experience is a pain and not worth the trouble in my opinion. read more

This Costco has a toasted turkey, provolone pesto sandwich on the menu for $3.99... VERY good sandwich. The croud can be pretty thick at lunch time from all the people trying to get free samples, so I recommend going during the week or later on the weekends (after lunch). read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had. Costco should not even associate themselves with this organization. I purchased a 75" Samsung TV in June 2020 and called to get guidance in operating the TV. I could never get a hold of anyone. I was always put on hold and told my wait time would be in excess of one hour. I gave up and figured it out on my own. Tonight the TV wouldn't turn on, I finally unplugged it and plugged back in and it worked. I thought I'd call the Concierge service to see if this was a problem with this TV. I did get and answer in 21 minutes but the connection was so poor I was disconnected. I tried again and got ahold of someone in 16 minutes who was very nice. However, he told me that they really couldn't do much and that I should just call Samsung since my TV was still under warranty. I have concluded that as others have said this Concierge service is a joke and just a sales gimmick and not a real benefit to users. read more

Great pricing at Costco--way better that Sams club and the rip-off company--Zounds. I actually feel very sorry for those who potential paid thousands over the Costco price for a way inferior Zounds product than Costco offers. Zounds you actually, during testing, are asked to tap on the desk (in a non-sound proof office) rather press a button in a sound proof environment at Costco. How substandard is that!!! I purchased a rotisserie chicken from Costco yesterday, which I have done many times. Apparently this chicken was not cooked to the right temperature and I got food poisoning. I was up all night with vomiting and diarrhea. I called the store on Galleria Way today and spoke to someone named David who said he was a manager. I explained what happened and he was very non caring and said come in and get a full refund and fill out an incident report. I asked if this ever happened before and he said yes if the employee is not careful with the handling and cooking of the chicken. He showed no real concern or caring. He apparently doesn't understand the seriousness of eating under cooked chicken. I like Costco and have been a member over 25 years, but lately the choice of Employees leaves a lot to be desired. read more

After standing in line forever while the cashier talked his head off to a couple talking how everyone knew him as the Costco guy, he then checked out another lady and as she left he said thank you Betty. Then it was my turn. No hello, no than you and no goodbye. This happened as the lady was just throwing our stuff in a buggy. Never asked if we wanted a box so we had to get one ourselves. Then as we walked away, there was someone there without a red jacket so we assumed this a manager. I told her he was the worse cashier I ever met in my life. She just kept smiling and never said a word. So I will go over to the San Tan village area where they have always been friendly to us, even though this one is much closer to my house. Worst customer service! Nasty employees! I will never renew my membership again. Two bad experiences with rude and ungrateful employees. I was not aware that my membership had expired while shopping with a friend. My friend offered to use his card after I spent time shopping and was checking out, but they refused unless he used his debit card and I paid him back. How inconvenient after being a loyal customer! They could have just taken his membership card and let me pay with my own debit card! I left empty handed! I guess they don't need my money. What a waste of time. The cashiers are never super friendly and I just normally shrug it off but today my cashier, Eli, never even said a word to or looked at me. He didn't greet me, ask me about a box, say bye or have a nice day. He didn't even acknowledge my existence besides handing me a receipt while still not looking at me or saying a word. Who doesn't like Costco? I can only see two drawbacks. One - do NOT go on a weekend. It is crazy unless you go when it opens and get outta there quick. Two - you only have two people in your household so you don't really need a 20 lb bag of broccoli or a whole box of strawberries or tangerines. Other than that it's a great place to stock up. They have great deals on most frozen foods (try the all natural fish sticks). Great deals on bottled water and cases of soda too. If you buy a giant pack of Q-tips you won't run out for years!! I love the "Wipe and Clean" individually wrapped cleaners for your glasses. They come in a giant box of either 200 or 300 and last for at least six months. They have good deals on books, DVDs, CDs, boxes and bags of snack foods like Doritos and Sun Chips, pretzels and microwave popcorn. The bakery has some good stuff too. I don't typically buy meat here because I do not have a large family nor do I have occasion to feed many people. I hear the meat department is quite good though. And Costco usually has the cheapest gas around too. It's usually almost 10 cents cheaper then the closest gas station to me and I can stop by Costco on my way home from work. Now if you're shopping and you require a snack, hit the snack bar. Pizza by the slice, hot dogs, and these yummy things they call chicken bakes are pretty inexpensive. So where else can you stock up, get cheap gas and get a snack for cheap? Costco! It's worth the membership and that membership gets you other perks too. They send coupons in the mail every month. If you don't have a card, you should get one and check it out. I believe they only accept Amex cards but they do accept debit cards and cash of course. read more

This Costco is the BEST in the area. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean inside and out. In reading some of these reviews, I can almost guarantee most of the negative authors, are negative throughout their lives, not just about Costco. Yes, they are busy and the lines are long - get over it or don't go back if you can't. They literally have thousands of people a day in their warehouse and almost always bust through any long lines I've been there for. If your cashier "didn't talk to you" you were probably ON YOUR PHONE or A JERK TO THEM TO BEGIN WITH. Get over it, if you go to Costco for social interaction from the employees, go elsewhere, because you're adding to the checkout time you're complaining about. There's a couple of cashiers I will wait in the longest lines just to see them, because they are the bees knees. Eli, Brian F and Mike C. I love Costco , I go there every week ,I end up buying stuff I don't need , I would give them 4 stars ,however I had a bad experience today ,it was so embarraing to be stopped on the door like you are a thief trying to steel items you did not pay for ??!! To make the long story short , I always use the hand scanner so I don't have to wait in line on my way to check out .apparently the scanner today was malfunctioning , so it dropped 2 items out of 20 from the list ( even though when I was scanning the items before I place them in the cart the scanner always gave me the peep and the green light and it was so fast ,more fast than usual ,I thought they upgraded something because it usually takes asecond or so and it scans only in one direction, today it was fast and it scanned in both directions , it also gave me an error message on one item that it could not locate it so I removed it and scanned it again and it took it and registered it ) . So on my way to check out ,I told the lady when I handed her over the scanner that there is something wrong with the scanner and to check it , she was very busy as usual so she ignored it , I finished the check out and paid , I did not think for a second that the scanner did not register 2 items , so on the door we found that out . It was so embarrassing to feel that you are cheating or steeling , I am a well to do guy and I will never take anybody else items without paying for it .. The bottom line is and my advice to everybody is : do not use that stupid scanner again ,or if you do ,count your items to make sure that the scanner did not drop off any of them .. read more

First time at this location, the store looked like brand new and very big. They have these very cool hand-held scanners where you take it with you after you scan your either AMEX or Costco cards and scan your products then put it into your cart. Once you are ready to check-out, you give your own scanner to the cashier and you pay at a separate check-out stand. Very easy process and very cool. Costco Travel - My husband and I recently returned from a trip to the Big Island, HI that we arranged throught Costco Travel. After shopping around I found that their prices were the best and after one phone call I was able to make all arrangements for airfair, condo and car. They didn't have arrangements with any B&Bs on Hilo but were able to adjust our travel dates. Everything went according to plan with all arrangements being accurate. Condo was outstanding and a great value. We got gas and did some souvenier shopping at the Costco in Kona and again saved $$. I've shopped at Costco for years - now becoming a groupie! read more
