I come here every weekend to wash my car (not anymore!). I wait in the wash line, after the car in front enters I pay for my wash and wait. Today an older female attendant came out yelling at me "why would you pay for your wash before you go into the wash?" I was like, "what?". I was so confused (and I have to interject that she was very aggressive ). She then yelled, "do you SPEAK ENGLISH?" Really? In this climate you're going to say that? ESPECIALLY when the person yelling this has a thick Hispanic accent? I felt bad for the guy in front of me whose wash wasn't functioning and she yelled at him to go to the back of the line again. They need to improve their customer skills.

So far so good for me. I was running on fumes so I really needed gas. This gas station does not have a convenience store attached. At least, not a traditional type of one. They do sell some merchandise outside their little booth. They sell Lotto too. No complaints from me. This 76 gas station was A-Ok in my opinion.

This was actually the second stop I supported at 'The City of Burbank,' CA purchasing items from the Convenient store inside. The cashier was friendly and asked how my day was, so I told him I was attending a social media event two blocks down the street. Luckily, Mobile gas station, Burbank, CA saved my day. I was in a hurry returning to the Yelp Elite Event catching up with two of my favorite local YelpLA CMs so didn't stick around taking pictures. Most importantly there weren't people heckling for cash, as I've had some pretty unsafe experiences at gas stations as of recent, including being threatened days ago by someone clearly under the influence of something strong. I appreciate that this wasn't the case here. Gas is high in CA, so I never really complain about the prices because I don't think it's within their control. The kiosks at the pump were pretty clean, and inside there were plenty of food and snack options for people who have a longer commute. I genuinely have no complaints. I don't expect too much from a gas station, but Yelp likes when my reviews are longer :)

Walked inside to pay, and the cashier by the name of Ira was the sweetest human being that I have met in a very long time. He was efficient, fast, helpful, kind and very HUMBLE! Hard to find people like him these days. Honestly, one of the best gas stations that I have been to and done a review on. We even had some small talk about different things. The tiny mini mart was very well maintained, clean, inside and outside of the gas station. Fully stocked. Had few snacks, beverages and a full load of drinks that had just come in. He apologized for the mess, when it wasn't even messy. I also needed to clean my windows and there was plenty of soap and water inside both buckets. Trash was empty, and the gas prices are a bit on the lower end. The pump I used was #9. All the pumps were working fine, and there were probably 10 pumps all together in the gas station. Usually around that time, trash and the station along with the mini mart is not clean. Well, this one was... Oh, they even have a bathroom that they allow everyone to use, unlike other places/gas stations... Next time I am in the area, this will definitely be my go-to gas station. I did not want to offend her so I told her that it was not her hands but the money (most cashiers do not sanitize every time they deal with money). Then I handed her a 20 dollar bill, and she snickered at me, as if she had caught me in action or something. Little does she know I sanitize after handling cash; it's just something I do as a matter of hygiene. So, needless to say this woman is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Rather than being of service to her customers, she is making fun of them, not even knowing their situation. So please owner, if you are reading this, do something about your customer service. The location on the corner of Olive and Glenoaks is convenient. Those are busy streets and it's…read moreeasy to roll in and out of this spot quickly. Unfortunately, it's a bit dirty. It looks like it should be in a shady area of town, but it's actually in a nice area. The terminals could really use a good wipe down and it would be nice if they could get rid of all the tagging so taggers aren't inspired to keep on tagging more, as it looks like what has happened. People who like a clean station would want to stay away from this place, but people who like to tag appear invited, heh. The Mobil down the street is much cleaner (I think they actually clean the terminals there) and it doesn't appear to be frequented by taggers. Sometimes the price is the same as this station, but other times it'll be a few cents more.
