I usually only come to the Shell station to fill up my gas tank, rarely entering the store. But when I do, they have plenty of options for snacks and drinks, comparable to 7-eleven shops, meaning they're not always fully stocked, but still have a good selection of items. This past Saturday, I came for the drive thru automatic car wash. Didn't realize it was so cheap, $8 with the dollar discount off the "I'm in a hurry" wash. Basic and sufficient, exactly what I needed with the layers of filth caked on my car, at such an affordable price. And it only took about 5-6 minutes, a few minutes waiting for the car in front of me to finish, and a few minutes for my car to get cleaned and blow dried in the tunnel. Great customer service too, when I paid inside the store. The staff was helpful and friendly, and made the process smooth and easy. Having been here several times, I can say the service here varies depending on the staffing, but I've never encountered any noteworthy problems. read more

Different store but same chain and owner. Son took car to get car washed on 6/26/24. Car wash tore off driver side mirror so he filled out a claim form. Talked to manager who said all she could do was send the form to corporate and she couldn't do anything more than that. She couldn't provide a working number and the form said to talk to the store manager...... Was able to track down the corporate info and left about a dozen messages to try to get someone to address the claim over the past 3 months. No callbacks and would always go to voicemail. I just went in to fill up air in the tires and swiped the card, just to find that the + sign to increase the pressure is broken. So I went in and told the lady that it's broken and I can't use it. She acted like it's not her problem and asked me in return what she should do. I said return my money since it's broken. To my surprise she said a lot of people use it like that and she can't do if the machine doesn't work and when I insisted she said I should come tomorrow to talk to her manager. Guys, I speak only for the store itself. Not for their gas or their car wash.... But you want a cheap fountain soda --- cheaper than MCDonalds, this is your spot! My husband and I happen to be big Diet Coke drinkers and typically take advantage of the 1$ large soda at McDonald's but this place is both cheaper and closer to my home surprisingly! Found out on the random when the MCDONALDs down the street happen to have a broken soda machine and we wanted a quick drink before heading back home one day. It's conveniently located off the 237. Store is clean. They have some interesting food items too. I know my little sister and I used to go here like 6-7 years ago to pick up cronuts. The tire indicators on my car show that I was low on air so I looked for a gas station and found loop. When I pulled up to the air machine it said that it only except recorders and that it costed one dollar. If you wanted to use your credit card it within cost $1.50, so of course I went inside to get change. The place was crowded and the wait was pretty long. When I finally got up to the cashier she was very nice and polite. While waiting in line gentleman was buying a ticket for the car wash. Yes! That's exactly what I needed. I scan the menu options for car wash and chose the one that said I needed the super Duper deluxe embarrassingly dirty car wash it was only $10 plus one if you did not buy gas. So of course I plopped down my $11 and got my car wash ticket. The air machine was great it had a gauge on it so I could quickly tell when my tires are properly filled. Once that was done I headed over to the car wash. It was just a matter of entering a code that was on my receipt and waiting my turn. My car was extremely dirty!. Once it was my turn I drove in and follow the light signals green for go and read for stop. Pretty easy! I sat there while the car wash machine did it's job and I must say I came out of that car wash quite satisfied with the job it had done. I highly recommend this place for service and your car wash next time you're in the area! read more

I had heard about the mysterious, magical gas station convenience store with passable froyo and a fresh salad bar. So, of course, I eventually had to investigate. Contrary to other sayers, you can not do your weekly grocery shopping here. It's not like they have produce. The outside looks fancier than a typical gas station convenience store. Froyo - "Hey can we have sample cup" *hands us water sized cup* Swaaaa-weet. Three flavors: vanilla, chocolate and cake batter. The cake batter was sweet and pleasant tasting. A small yogurt was $2.99, and they had one little section of typical toppings (reeses, cookie dough, etc.) Also, they had icees. Apparently one was SUGAR COOKIE FLAVOR, but we tried it and it tasted like orange. And indeed- There was a fresh salad bar, but it while Loop is 24/7, the salad bar is not. You want kombucha? They have it along with two or three sections of other healthy snacks. They also have pre-made sandwiches and salads. Prices: $3.45 for a Quest protein bar. Holy smokes! That's other level pricey $$$$$$. But, you pay for convenience. Not all prices are this egregious but remember this isn't Grocery Outlet. The gas station part is a typical Shell station. In summary, don't venture out of your way for Loop, but if you are in the area and need some convenience or a heathy snack, Loop on over! read more

I had seen the Yelp reviews for this place a few months ago. I finally was able to give this a try today when stopping for gas. And wow, the high rating is actually deserved! They don't have too many flavors of yogurt here. Tart, strawberry, and chocolate come to mind. They also have a number of toppings. The yogurt is pretty cheap, too. I think it was 40c an ounce. They have a lot of coffee selections to choose from, about five or so. They've also got soft-baked pretzels! And pizza! Oh, and there's a salad bar to boot. Definitely a lot cooler, nicer and interesting than your average mini mart. They have craft beers, unusual soft drinks and all types of snacks. I had gotten gas when it was just a plain shell years ago. Having to make a meeting, being almost bone dry and needing fuel I jumped in for a quick fill. I was hanging out at night around northern Sunnyvale and I got a craving for a light and sweet snack. Since that area is basically a large expanse of suburbs and wasteland, I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't be able to find anything past 9pm. Was I so wrong. I found this place while searching Yelp for "froyo." Otherwise we would have entirely missed Loop and my craving would not have been satisfied. First drove into a brightly lit Shell station in the middle of nowhere. Lo and behold, there was an upscale convenience store immediately behind. I entered, and was about to be amazed. Unfortunately the salad bar was empty, so I did not get a chance to see it in all its glory. However, there were icee machines offering unique flavors, a froyo machine with Yogurtland-like toppings, and baked goods all on demand. In addition, all the items stocked on the shelves were not typical Frito-Lay fare. It was almost like shopping at a Whole Foods. Yes, they did have Trolli sour gummy worms and Trix candy bars. But they were also stocked with things like Fearless raw chocolate bars, Three Twins organic ice cream sandwiches, Brad's raw kale chips, and sparkling cucumber water. There was fresh cheese. There was a walk-in beer refrigerator. And service couldn't have been better. I did have a try at all the froyo flavors, and frankly, they were kind of gross-tasting except the vanilla, which was just ok. This was all resolved with the mochi toppings available. I also had a go at the Fearless chocolate bar, and for some reason it tasted stale (probably also not smart to eat after a very sweet and very cold froyo). But wow! I am just amazed at the novelty of this store. I will definitely be back on another sweet-craving day. read more

They also make DELICIOUS frappuccinos/Java fresco's. My favorite is the caramel coconut javafresco. Heads up their small is like a Grande and a medium is almost the size of a venti. & they're cheap! The staff is great and attentive. I come often that they know me good enough. There are some items that are over priced like mochi ice cream & 5hr energy shots. I also think the gas is a bit expensive but I'm used to paying Costco priced gas... 5 stars for their awesomeness -1 star for the random over priced items. read more

It's convenient, but a little pricier compared to your average, chained, convenient stores. What was once the Shell Gas station is now the Loop Neighborhood Market that still serves Shell gasoline. If you work within the area, it's a great spot to tank up before your weekend adventures or for your super long commute home. I do have to say that their selection of cold, micro brewed, beers are abundant and has something for everyone's liking. The credit card system seems to be faulty and hit or miss. Of the many visits here, the cashier has stated twice that my credit card has been canceled (not it hasn't!). The gas station itself gets really crowded during lunch & rush hour, off-business hours. It's the last gas station on Great America Pkwy before you venture off and wait in line at the Hwy 237 junction. read more

Boba! (Though I'm sure it can't be comparatively very good boba). It's pricy, but what do you expect for the most gougingly priced gas station in practically the entire south bay? Other than that, the prices of their items remain high. But what really chaps my hide is the littered receipts on the ground every time I visit. New I'd policy for buying cigarettes started in the past 2 days. I have been a customer for years and although I've been told many times that I look good for a woman 50 plus yrs old I know I look over 21 yrs. The young lady who was at the register today at 4:40pm(she looked to be from the Pacific Islands) was very rude by her tone of voice and body language when she asked me for my I'd. I have purchased products, including over priced gasoline, many times from this young lady and although she wasn't exactly friendly she was never so rude to me as she was today. I never realized how close this place was to my work, and now that I know the proximity you better believe it's where I'm going when the mood strikes. My first visit I purchased a Fentimans botanically brewed Rose Lemonade, a Foster Farms corn dog, a bag of Hot Cheetos, and I contemplated purchasing an E.O.S lip balm and an organic lavender hand lotion. The craft beer selection is pretty decent, and their wine selection isn't too shabby either. I'm pretty excited to try out their salad bar for lunch, and they also have sodas "on tap" which is pretty silly/cool. If you're a soda kinda gal or guy you can get your Coca Cola fix here, if you're more health conscious, you can get yourself a Kombucha too.
