Only a minimum of attention is paid to any customer. There are lunch trucks that gather in the court next to the station, every time they are there the service sucks at the gas station. The last time I went to this station a Wednesday I used two different credit cards one for gas one for goods in the store. The next day both cards were hit with purchases one from another state the other from another country Canada. Is this a coincidence? I don't think so. This is the only place I went during that entire week. I'll never go there again. read more

Wow what an amazing customer service, this review is for Pramila she seriously made my day. As soon as I walked in she welcomed me with a smile and she has such a positive energy. I instantly felt better walking in. I needed to buy some snacks and they were nicely arranged and it's super clean as well. i have seriously never seen such nice gas station workers. usually they are super apathetic and lazy? for lack of a better word. But the workers here were so sweet! i couldnt get my card to work so i went inside to ask and they seemed really busy doing some paperwork but they dropped everything they were doing immediately, came outside to my pump station and solved my problem. He even waited for my card to go through so he can start pumping gas for me!! it was really sweet also MUCH cheaper than other gas stations near by! (only reason i went in the first place) im definitely going back to this place!!!! read more

To keep it short and simple, I arrived there to get some gas, snacks, and to use the bathroom and unfortunately nature called first, so I parked my car at the pump and scurried over to the restroom. The attendant said I had to go to the register and have them open it. So, I walked to the store part and I see Pramila looking through the cameras as I arrived and I asked her through the window can I get into the restroom. She says something at first, of which I had trouble understanding her, so she waved me into the store and tells me that bathrooms are for customers only. So, we have a moment of a blank stare and I am like, I am going to buy something then she says ok, and that I should ensure no one comes in after me, because they make mess. I am like ok. So I go use the bathroom, pump gas, and walk in as she is exiting to help another customer. She comes back in, and to her credit apologizes because she didn't know I was a customer. Case and point. there was a judgement made about me unwarranted because she didn't know I pulled up. So, based on my over 13 years of experience in retail and 4 of those being in management, at a gas station, don't assume because you missed a critical point in my patronage, because you were busy. If you miss it, professionally assume that I am a customer. On another note, she upselled me on some candy bars and they were good, so I gave 2 stars for that. At any rate, she is not a bad person, just needs to be a bit more sharp. read more

Just like every gas station, it's just your average gas station with about 7 or 8 pumps and right by the freeway so it's very accessible and convenient. Free water and free air in every Chevron gas stations I believe. Sometimes their gas price is hefty than other locations but when I came here it was pretty cheap so I don't have any complaints :) read more

I am boycotting two Lawrence Expressway gas stations...seriously...and both are on the North Bound direction (towards 237). I know that no one is going to look for gas station reviews, but maybe they may happen to read this in passing. This week, I stopped into this station as I have been almost every week for the last 3 years. First pump has a sign that says the keypad doesn't work and go inside. Pull to the other side of the station, and swipe my card and it takes my card. Lets me put in my zip code, then just sits there. Try several times. Nothing. Seriously? It is 7am, I need to get to work, I am sleepy...and I can tell others are experiencing the same frustration. Visit cigarette purchase shack to give them my card. Sign on the shack says cash only as the network is down. Wait, is it the one keypad or is it the network? And you can't put signs on the machines? It is pretty pathetic that to pump gas it takes a ton of steps and the customers are at the pumps bitching to each other how lame it is. Things happen, communicate it. read more

This is your average gas station. 8 or so pumps, small attendant area, right by the freeway so it's pretty convenient. So why 5 stars for an average gas station? Free water and free air. Saved me $0.75! Now, apparently air and water are supposed to be free. I've never been to a place that had it for free, and gas station attendants are usually meanies, so not having to deal with any bullshit is great. read more

Convenient location about a mile from the 101 and right beside the 237. You can see it right from Lawrence but has to be accessed by turning onto the side street. This is actually a bit better so it's easier to get in and out of the station without dodging cars zooming by and so you can go opt to go north or south on Lawrence easily. Transactions are done easily at the pump with no need to interact with another human being. The best! read more

The station has a great location, clean and easy to get to. The problem is that filling the tank takes too long. The gas pump is in slow motion. Filling my tank is at a snails pace. 20 gallons took 25 minutes...... WOW!!! read more

This place is it only overpriced but you'll get dirty looks from the cashier regardless if you are a paying customer. I was deciding what type of drinks I was going to get for me and my co-worker but the Lady with the stupid ear piercings had the audacity to say '' come on man what are you getting'' I've never been rushed before and this was the first time. My TPMS light had been on for over 3 months (I'm lazy ok) but I dread refilling air in my tires because it seems like every other gas station charges for it when it should be free by California law. So I'd have to go to the cashier, ask for them to turn it on, run back and try to fill up my tires before it runs out, or I'd have to go ask them again and it was just such a pain. I went to Rotten Robbie originally (on Lafayette) to try and finally get rid of the TPMS alert, but even though they offer free air there was no pressure gauge attached and I didn't have one myself (I'm *really* lazy ok). So the attempt was unsuccessful. In fear of being stranded with a flat tire somewhere, I finally yelped "free air" and came across this particular Chevron. Indeed, they do have free air and a pressure gauge was attached! And good thing too because it turned out all 4 of my tires were low pressure. Also refilled my tank here so win-win for me! (The prices for gas are a little higher than other gas stations I passed by on my way here but I'm willing to pay more for the convenience of free air and a pressure gauge) read more

They got gas and it's in a very convenient location off Lawrence. Good place to stop before going home from work.

Location is great, right next to the freeway. Never too crowded and no waiting in lines to get your gas

Over all the whole station is very clean and store well organized. The guys working there are nice.

There was plenty of room here last night for me and like 5 other friends with matching cars to fit in and grab gas. It was nice and easy to get to. I also enjoyed the fact that it was right off the freeway, but not easily accessible by the commuters, and therefore not as pricey as those just off the freeway. read more

Not bad for a gas station. Being a 24hr one makes it very convenient, but after a certain time late night, they lock the door so you hav to make a purchase through a window. There's never a line whenever i stop by and it's right next to hwy 237, which is both good and bad. the only problem is that chevron is usually expensive. read more

Leaving nearby Kaiser hospital with a broken arm, a low tire notice comes up on my car. I stopped at the first available gas station, it looked clean and nice . I filled up with gas which I could manage one-handed then went to the attendant to ask for help with air in my tires. She pointed to the sign behind her that stated no helping with air in tires no exceptions . When I asked her about it she said tires can sometimes blowup and hurt people. Is filling a tire more dangerous than pumping gasoline ? I was asking for help from people at least smart enough to to have been hired to work in this gas station. I saw one mechanic working on cars, one attendant in the office, and all three car bays were full so there may have been more people working at the time. You pump gas for someone handicapped, but you could not put air in a tire for someone obviously impaired at the moment. Where is the reasonableness? Where is the common sense? Where is the customer service? read more
