We were heading back to NorCal from San Diego. We usually stop for gas, bathroom breaks, and snacks off the highway. We decided to find a Costco for a better option. This one popped into our radar. This Costco is smaller than the larger population areas. However, it's very efficient. Everyone knows Costco offers the cheapest gas in town! There's only a handful of bays for gas, but it moves quickly. I'm used to mine that offers the red and green lights to show which bays are open. This one is too small to put one in. You will have to pay attention to not keep back up traffic! Overall, a great option for gas. I'll be coming back when passing through town. read more

Cheapest gas in town and I always feel safe getting gas here. I've had my credit card hacked at other gas stations. It's very reassuring that they always have an attendant there and they regular check the pumps. I also love that they have extra long hoses on the gas pumps, so you can easily fill up, no matter which side you park on. There is always a long line, but it moves fairly quick. There's a high clearance for tall vehicles, including trailers and RV's. Well worth the annual membership fee in my opinion. The set up at this location makes it very easy to access as well. read more

I don't drive an extra 15 mins out of the way to come here and fill up like my Dad used to, but when I'm nearby, I'll take advantage of the low prices. Costco gas is always the cheapest, with decent quality. If you can stand the 15-20 min wait time EVERY TIME you come, it's totally worth it. When we first moved to SCV they never had a gas station at this Costco location until a few years ago. I was very happy when I heard they were building one. This meant we can buy gas at a cheaper price. However, gas prices in SCV are still higher than prices in SFV but having a Costco gas station helps. Lines at the gas station can be long especially on the weekends and when gas prices are high but it tends to move fast. The machines are cleaned after so many customers. All the staff wear masks. If you have a placard they will pump your gas. Even if you don't have a disabled sticker they will pump gas for anyone having a hard time. They are always available to help you. They constantly walk around making sure everyone is taken care of. They are always nice and polite. If you have problems with the pump they will explain to you what's happening and see to it that you are able to pump it. Love Costco gas! My advice will be to arrive early or right before they close. This way you will avoid 30 to 45 minute wait times however the price of the gasoline justifies the waiting. I want to say they're always $.20-$.30 cheaper than all of the nearby gas stations in the area. Just remember you need to use a visa card or pay with your debit card and you have to have your Costco card in order to obtain gasoline. One more thing if you're arriving from Sierra Highway make sure you take the third left turn into the gas station parking lot. You will battle all of the regulars the shop at Costco if you turn in the first two parking lots, the third turn is dedicated solely to Costco gasoline and not too many people know that. read more

All Costco Gas locations are slow moving and impossible to get in and out of. This location is no different. However, there was something else on this particular trip that made matters worse. Two of the pumps were down and they decided to do work on them while everyone was trying to fill up. So lines were extra impacted and then cars had to do weird maneuvers to get to pumps around the broken ones. It was just a madhouse. In the end, I get that Costco gas is cheap. Often a lot cheaper than other locations. BUT I truly believe the wait isn't worth it. If you can get in when there isn't a long line, go for it. But if there are a lot of people there, just skip it. I have two box store memberships one here and one to Sam's Club which is about three miles away. I came in on Sunday afternoon to gas up, but spent almost 30 minutes in the line and filling up and I know that Sam's Club would not have taken that long since I have been there on Sunday at the same time. The gas cost the same, so I think unless it is very early in the morning or during the week I am going to avoid the gas here and drive the extra couple of miles. I spend more gas waiting than it would be to drive over there. read more

I specifically got up this morning at 5:50AM to go get gas before the lines get too big. Upon pulling in to the gas area, I went to the left row of pumps, where the left side was blocked by the diesel rig filling the tanks for the business. I waited for a couple of cars ahead of me and then proceeded to get my gas. During this time, the lines had grown to approximately twenty vehicles in total, who were doing the proper thing and waiting like they should. Of course, there's always one and what he did was drive in via the exit only and then proceeded to back his vehicle into the spots for the left pumps blocked by the diesel rig. This obviously bypasses everyone who was there before him and properly waiting in line. Nonetheless, the solo worker saw what this driver did and began to mosey over to him. I thought good, he's gonna do the right thing and not allow the jackass line cutter to take cuts and fill up. I guess I gave the worker too much credit as when he approached the driver still seated in his vehicle he told him to put out his cigarette and didn't even mention the line cutting event. My one star, which for this lazy, timid worker is way too much. How about acting like half the man you were/are and doing the right thing to this jackass?? After all, the worker was a decent sized guy and the jackass wasn't. For someone to do such a blatant thing and the worker to do nothing was a timid, pussy move. What a poor example of a Costco employee, who is there specifically to monitor and control the gas situation, while being paid to do so. I guess we should all drive in the exit and screw over all the good people who chose to do it the right way!!! Disgusting!!! read more

If you live in the area or commute through it, you know that gas prices here are higher than SFV. Having Costco Gas available helps put a dent in that price difference, but still higher than, say Arco, in SFV by about $0.10 to $0.12 center per gallon. Either way, it's still a discount in my opinion. The gas station is located right next to Costco and 24 hour fitness so there is usually heavy traffic volume going in and out of the location and a lot of confused and angry drivers as a result. The other draw back is the long wait time. When it's the only reasonably priced gas station in a 30 mile radius most economical commuters come here to fuel up. I've waited in excess of 20 minutes at times, but average wait time to get to the pump about 7 minutes. read more

Even though this Costco Gas is conveniently located right off of the 14 freeway it is inconveniently located right in the exit/entrance of the Costco store which causes a huge backup for both shoppers and gas-filler-upers. I dislike Costco stores, but the gas station is nice! Mostly because it's cheap and I don't have to get out of my car and interact with fellow Costco goers. The line is always long, but it moved quickly when I was in. For 20 cents less than the cheapest station in town, I'd say it's worth the wait. Unlike most stations though, Costco only has two different types unleaded and premium, not that in between one that the other's have. It's also got hours it's open too so you can't drive over whenever you want. Since the lines are so dauntingly long to the naked eye, a lot of people seemed to drive up to one on the wrong side of their car. But have no fear! They provide the best prices, offer top tier gasoline, and now they accept Visa rather than AMEX (who's even carrying AMEX cards anymore?!). I was surprised to see the gas station attendants wiping down all the handles and pumps in between cars to keep the place pristine. Considering this operation is quite a cash cow for Costco, it's nice to see they're not disregarding the look of the place. Overall, I will make as much effort to fill up at Costco whenever I'm running on "E" and in the vicinity.
