My mom recently purchased a 7 piece dining table set and went home with 2 of the 4 boxes. Frustrating that an employee at Costco didn't let us know we needed 2 other boxes which are the 4 chairs out of 6. So we have a dining table with 2 chairs at the moment. So my niece called to let them know that we were going to come get the 2 other boxes. My niece spoke to someone from the morning shift and they said they would put the 2 boxes aside, but when she spoke to someone in the afternoon they said they don't hold them. My mom paid for the whole dining set and it's their fault they didn't let us know we were missing 2 other boxes. Long story short, day crew was more considerate than the afternoon crew. Mel the manager was especially rude and needs to retake a course in customer service. read more

Credit where credit is due. I've watched our Costco move from overwhelmed to precision focused. In the early days of all this virus bla, bla, bla, every company was scrambling to figure out how to manage the chaos. What I appreciate about our Henderson Costco is that the leadership has taken responsibility. They have managed this process with excellence. A capitalist nightmare. Every time I come in for gas, because I HAVE TO, I wait at the light on St. Rose & Amigo ST and I try not to pass away from the amount of time I spend waiting not only at the light, but in line. I've written this review and waited three light cycles on the turn in. I'll have to do this again next week too. I'm sure we all know how terrible it is to shop at Costco so that's self explanatory. I would never come back if I wasn't forced to by gas monopolies. People fight to get in this line & cut like it's Black Friday in bumper cars. Besides the good gas prices, I really enjoy the prices they have to offer customers many of their products. They have a lot of organic and delicious ready made food options. Being from Kentucky and seeing the same price of the food options in Nevada made me smile. I ordered a hot dog and an açaí bowl. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was tasty. I bought a patio furniture set: Sunvilla Palafox 7-piece Deep Seating Set Item #1902435 One of the chairs came with a manufacture error. The chair is tilted to the side, it's not leveled straight. When I compared with the other chair, the parts used are different from each other. Now Costco said the patio sofa set is out of stock and that they can replace it but at this time they don't have a future date when it will be available!?? Be Aware- all of the items I have bought from Costco will either arrive damaged, poor delivery service and poor Costco customer service. Here is another complaint I posted from Costco delivery: GE 27 cu. ft. ENERGY STAR French-Door Refrigerator with Internal Water Dispenser, Stainless Steel Item #1419583 The delivery team couldn't fit the refrigerator thru the main front door. They took off the door off, including the hinges. They put the main door back BUT the door uneven, It gets stuck when open and closing, they didn't clean the front door, it has grease all over by hinges. There are dents on the frame. We love this new Costco! I think it's the best one in the Valley. It's not too crowded at any time of day. They keep the staff on hand to handle the traffic. They have lots of good stuff at great prices. We love the produce here. The refrigerated room is a good size for all the stuff they have. The dairy and egg selection is nice too. They don't carry some items that other stores do. And they carry some things others don't. Each Costco is unique in that way. I wish they had Sweet N Low and decaf coffee beans though. They have a great meat department and lots of good fish, chicken and cheeses too. You can save a lot of money on liquor and wine too. Make sure to check out the food court. They have stuff there I've never seen in other Costco's. read more

Came to the Costco on Saint Rose at around lunchtime. Not excessively crowded for a mid week Costco stop. At the end of doing an hour of big box shopping, we decided to grab a fast lunch. They still have that amazing deal on hotdogs ($1.50 for a hotdog and soda). And they have a huge slice of pizza for $2. Is the pizza competitive with a top-flight pizzeria slice of pizza? Nope. But for two dollars, you can't beat the value. Definitely an excellent stop for a very fast inexpensive lunch.l read more

I feel it's a little hard to give a rating for Costco. Essentially, it's a big self-service type grocery store. That doesn't really provide a lot of "services" unless you really are seeking it. But as a member of Costco for nearly 15 years now, I've found this particular location has some opportunities with their level of service...or lack thereof. I should preface this by stating that my typical experience here has usually been very good. But as of late, the service seems to have diminished. Recently, I drove up to fill my car with gas. But because I don't carry my physical card (I have it on the app) I needed the attendant to scan her card so I could purchase gas (There is an option to scan your phone app to bypass this, but it's disabled right now) As I stepped out of my car, I asked if they started accepting the app, or is it still disabled? The attendant said, "... it still isn't working. See here where it's labeled? (As she points to the sign) You see here? It says it's not working. See? It's labeled for you. It's labeled here, so you know. So, no, it's not working." She then stands there as I put my credit card in and watches as I enter my PIN! Seriously, her tone and response were not necessary. Come to think of it, maybe her response was racially motivated because it was said in a condescending manner. I am Asian. I only get gas here if I'm in the area and in need of gas. Parking at this Costco can be a bit difficult as it also shares the lot with the nearby strip mall. When in the area, gas is usually at a decent price compared to nearby gas stations. The store is always clean, the employees are always nice and although it gets busy, lines move fast. Other than the regular registers they also have self checkout. read more

Welcome to this side of town!!! I'm so thankful that it's literally less than 10 minutes away from me and I no longer have to drive to a further location. Floors are still shiny and employees are happy to be there. Hopefully it stays this way. The layout is a little different than the other location I used to go to, but it's no biggie. I was still able to find the things I needed. Our usual trips consists of water, chicken, steaks, paper plates, cheese, various condiments and whatever other goodies we find along the way. Of course the line at the food court is forever long. So I love that this location offers a self ordering kiosk. I was able to pay and pick up my food and the same people were still standing in line. It's true; absence does make the heart grow fonder. It's been a year since the start of the pandemic, and going to Costco at St. Rose Highway in Henderson seems more enjoyable than ever with larger crowds. I just went to this store this past Sunday and found it more interesting with more people, so long as Costco continues to enforce mask wearing, which they do. I might feel differently in a few weeks or months when larger crowds return, but the number of people isn't bothersome for now. This Costco, or any other for that matter, is like an adult amusement park to me. Walking the aisles, looking at the countless items, products, and prices make for an interesting two-hour outing. Sometimes I think if I had an unlimited bank account, I might spend thousands of dollars here every month. But alas, my bank account isn't endless, so I have to be happy looking and carefully watching what I purchase. Mostly we buy food items, which at times can run into the many hundreds of dollars. I find the quality and value of the food purchased at Costco to be the highest, along with significant savings. Of course, there are a few downsides to Costco. The amounts you need to purchase sometimes are sizeable for just two people in a household. And Costco does, in my opinion, only sell the highest of quality, so you end up spending more than you truly need or want. But nothing purchased at Costco seems ever to go to waste as my wife is the "Freeze Queen" of edibles. Whatever is leftover is always frozen in this household. Sometimes, when she goes out of town and I forage through our multiple refrigerators, I stumble across "the unfamiliar" and find things frozen that I can't remember when prepared or eaten. When you come to this or any other Costco, be prepared to meander for a couple of hours and spend a few bucks. When the pandemic comes to an end, maybe they'll even go back to offering the sample foods that they used to. Bon appetite. It's a big box store that unless you've been under a rock for the last 10 years or so you will know it. It's just a standard cosco, the merchandise is scattered hither,tither and yon. The merchandise is in bulk so unless you have a rather large or vociferous family It's not a good place to buy food that expires (meat, fish, milk etc) as you have to buy 5 pnds of pork loin for instance. I normally buy things like paper towels, cooking oil etc. As normal you won't find very many associates if any so forget about help.Its (in most cases) cheaper per pound or container you just kinda have to think do I need 1000 motrin tablets? Great place to shop IF YOU'RE WHITE. I cannot believe the disrespect and blatant racism towards customers that aren't white. Today, an incident with a cashier made me feel isolated, rejected, and I felt like I was garbage. White family in front of me at the line, cashier is extremely nice and endearing to them, having small talk and laughing and smiling. I thought to myself, "Wow, this lady must be really nice." It comes to my turn and she looks at me with cold dead eyes and frowning at me as she scans my membership card. I tell her, "Hello, how are you," but she doesn't even say a single thing to me (I'm Asian). I accidentally use a MasterCard credit card when I suddenly remember costco only takes visa. She tells me in the most demeaning and cold tone, "Visa or debit only." Not a, "Oh I'm so sorry, we only take Visa here." This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me here. The only people who are nice are the pushy salesmen that try to rip you off when you're shopping. Sure it's not Texas Chili, nor Cincinnati, or homeade, but a great tasty bowl of Chili by Costco .  A great addition to the incredible Values great taste and keep on keeping on the Buck Fifty hotdogs and drink combo you cant beat . Never forget the Sauerkraut if you love the cabbage n salt Concoction ask for it at the Counter.  Plus it's an old fashion modern way of   lunch when a Young Mom and her son sit down next to you,  yep you have picnic tables you share in the Costco Cafe. Woohoo!!! This location in Henderson on St. Rose has been a long time coming! Don't really know what to say about Costco since they're pretty much all the same. You go in, eat a hot dog and coke for $1.50 then proceed to wander the aisle eating free samples of strange organic hummus. You end up walking out with a giant 200 oz tub of mayonnaise, 48 pack of toilet paper, and 5 dozen eggs because you know nothing says kid's 3 yr old party like 60 eggs. Anyhow, if you've ever been to Costco off Marks Street and you live in south Vegas then this location is awesome because it cuts down the driving time alot. This location also has a tire center so you can get your tires replaced or rotated after accidentally running into the curb and a gas station. There's plenty of fuel pumps (24?). I've already been to this location a few times since it recently opened and if you want to avoid the crowds go on a weekday before 4 pm. The only shoppers during that time are myself and retired folks and I can usually beat the retired folks to the punch on getting the free Italian sausage samples. So anyways if you aren't a Costco member, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Go get one! If you are a Costco member this location is perfect for south Vegas and is a good stop to top off your car if you're going to or coming back from California. read more

Costco has added more gas pumps! Now, the line isn't nearly as long. Costco indoor food concession has the most efficient & consistently friendly front counter person Mark. He made the busy lunchtime flow so effortlessly. I've never seen any Costco concession counter one person crew work with such an incredible attitude & organized way. The easy kiosk ordering was easy to use. If you pay cash Mark takes your order. He could probably sweep the floor & wash the windows simultaneously. Kudos for hiring him & having him manage your lunch rush on a Friday no less! Best Costco employee from California to Utah that I've watched while waiting for my whole pizza order. read more

Costco is my favorite place to shop. Thankfully I live equidistant to the Summerlin, St. Rose, and Marks locations, but this is my preferred location for the following reasons: 1. It's the nicest. Not that the other ones are bad, but naturally as the newest, it's also the nicest. 2. It's the least crowded. By far the least crowded. 3. It has self checkout. This location was the last of the three to get self checkout, but now that it has it, it's an easy choice to go here. As an example, on a Saturday afternoon, all six self checkout registers were open. Apparently Costco members are scared of ringing up their own purchases. (Even though I've had some workers here say some rude things too) There is a pharmacist there that has medication shamed me more than a couple times and I have seen her doing it to others. (HIPAA violation?) She picks and chooses which medications she would like to fill and which she would not. Forcing her pharmacy techs to tell folks they can't fill it. I had to get my medication filled at another Costco location who easily filled it. And on top of that, they knew that the St. Rose location was the one who wouldn't fill it !! OPTICAL DEPARTMENT I live on the most eastern section of Henderson. Yet I prefer shopping @St Rose for a variety of personal reasons eventhough the store is further most in west Henderson. Today was a pick up of prescription Gucci glasses. Yu-go had ordered them seven days ago. Talk about a fast turn around. As he was pulling the paper wait tab, the optician said it could be an hour's wait. Told him it was not a problem. I have never had that courtesy bestowed to us at the closer Marks store. Between my opthamalosgist Dr Gregory Hsu and Costco, the fitting turns out perfect without having to adapt to his new progressives eyeware. The wait was just slightly over half an hour. GROCERIES and MEATS were all well stocked. CLEANING AGENTS for laundry in plentiful supply. TP; facial tissue; and paper towels galore but with buyers' limitations imposed. There's even HYDROGEN PEROXIDE on the shelves in the pharmacy. CAN I PERHAPS CALL IT NORMAL once again ? This visit was without a shopping cart queue extending towards Pahrump. Shoppers and employees cooperatively and respectfully wore face mask. I can say gone is the stress of pandemic grocery shopping. read more
