Are the discounts really worth it? I guess it depends on what you end up buying. In my latest experience I did end up saving some money because I checked prices online for a specific store. There are around a hundred stores here at any given time that are open. There are also a bunch of food options mostly fast food and snacks. Located very close to the airport so you'll mostly see tourists here.

First, the parking garage has several elevator banks with total of six elevators. One full bank in inoperative, two elevators that went to the walkway, where the only way to ground level is escalators, and the UP escalator was broken, and one elevator that went inoperative while at the outlet store. As a wheelchair patron, I had to go several places just as work around to get to the car to the stores. This is unacceptable, driving a trying to dodge traffic and going extremely out of the way to get from the garage to the stores is difficult for a wheelchair patrons! The extra star is ONLY because for the excellent customer service received from the employees of the stores!

The make up of this shopping center is primarily services and restaurants. Proceeding the review, there is a picture that shows the businesses. Essentially, it is a local shopping center. I have been here a few times. I am the kind of person that will park at a shopping center then walk across a few seas of asphalt to combine a trip while getting exercise. Yesterday, I incorporated a stop here as part of an urban hike that took me between the Sienna Trailhead and the I 215 Eastern Beltway Trail at Eastern Avenue. The thumbnail on the map creates the misconception that it is the far more interesting Sansone Park Place Shopping Center that has the sundry of restaurants. My intention was to review it. Anyhows, the only business that I have patronized in this far less interesting shopping center was the Hawaiin restaurant a few years back. From my observations, it is in a very high traffic area. If you are turning left from it onto the six lane southbound Eastern Avenue against a stop sign, you are putting your life and car insurance rates on the line. My recommendation is to drive to the back of the center to Sansone Park Shopping Center and enter Eastern Avenue at the traffic signal. In my opinion, if the make up of the shopping center was primarily chain stores, the maddening traffic would take away from the neighborhood aspect of the shopping center to the point that I would travel to a further location in a less crowded area. However, with the exception of the Money Tree and Absolute Dental, it is mostly small businesses. In the immediate future there is really nothing to bring me back to the shopping center. Additionally there has to be a good reason for me to put up with maddening traffic. By the time and if I return, it is most likely that I reviewed the Sansone Park Place Shopping Center by then. *Some of the businesses in the Sansone Park Place Shopping Center are Cafe Zupas, Einstein Bros Bagels, Smash Burger, and Taco Y Taco.

Anthem Highlands Shopping Center - The shopping center sign and some businesses at the southernmost shopping center in Henderson.

The Southernmost Shopping Center in Henderson…read more    There is currently an opportunity on Yelp to review shopping centers. Where there are an abundance of reviews on restaurants, financial centers, supermarkets, and other businesses; there is a shortage of reviews on the unifying buildings that house these businesses that we love to review. In 2021, I will rise to the challenge of reviewing shopping centers in addition to the other places that I will share. Starting off my leading review of 2021, I will review the southernmost shopping center in Henderson. It is the Anthem Highlands Shopping Center.     Taken into consideration that this is the southernmost shopping center in Henderson, it has this edge of the metropolis vibe. Before Inspirada was built a few years ago, it had an edge of civilization vibe. Although it serves the Anthem Highlands and Inspirada market area, to me it feels more like being in Utah than in the Las Vegas valley. In similar fashion to Utah it is very clean, and even scenic. Situated on the Highlands of Anthem, this center provides an eastern scenic view of the mountains. From experience this is a scenic spot to capture a sunset or sunrise while being within a few hundred feet of a supermarket or drug store.    On account of the fact that this is the southernmost shopping center in Henderson with an edge of metropolis vibe in a part of the valley that reminds me of Utah; it should be of zero surprise that I have used this shopping center as a trailhead to long distance hikes into the Nevada Power Trail, Sloan Canyon, and the trails of Inspirada.    When reviewing shopping centers, I take safety into consideration. Safety includes crime and the parking lot design. The idea that I have left my car in the large parking lot with an abundance of available spaces for hours is evidence that it is a safe parking lot in the low crime Anthem Highlands and Inspirada neighborhoods. The parking lanes and spaces themselves are wide which lessen the chances of fender benders and door dings. With the recently installed traffic signal at the Bicentennial exit, leaving the parking lot is easy.    When I use the parking lot as a trailhead it is almost guaranteed that a business or few will get my support. This leads to my next area of the review. That is the business mix. When reviewing shopping centers I am on the quest to find what I call a unicorn shopping center. This would be a shopping center with such an awesome mix of businesses that it would be the equivalent of a supercenter without an actual supercenter that provides one stop shopping. Of course shopping centers come in a variety of sizes which is sometimes like comparing apples to oranges. Regardless that this is currently the only shopping center serving Inspirada and one of two serving the Anthem Highlands, it falls short of being a regional shopping center. There are currently zero apparel, electronic, and hardliners retailers. That would be the equivalent of less than half a Supercenter. To make this review easier to read, I will discuss the businesses in the following paragraph.    The anchor store is Albertson's. A few years ago it had one of the best Kosher selections in Henderson and Las Vegas. This is the largest store in the shopping center. It offers one of the two pharmacies in the shopping center. There is also a CVS. If you need a prescription this shopping center has you covered. If you need a restaurant or coffee it also has you covered. The restaurants include New Day Cafe, China Tango, Roberto's, a Hawaiin restaurant, Pizza Hut take out, Rounders (a pad to the immediate west), Subway, Starbucks and a few others. If you need a financial transaction there is a Bank of America and Chase. Adjoining the center to the west is an animal hospital. There are other businesses that share the same sea of asphalt. In the past I have reviewed the China Tango and New Day Cafe. However, I have also had several experiences in the center's Starbuck's, Albertson's, and CVS and a few in the Bank of America and Subway.     In conclusion, Anthem Highlands Shopping Center provides the essentials for the Anthem and Inspirada communities in a scenic shopping center with an edge of the metropolis vibe in a part of the valley that reminds me of Utah. It is a shopping center where you can also pick up a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunsets over the mountains to the east. I hope to return in the near future.
