I wanted to leave this message to management regarding their training program. Had an encounter with a new team member that left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a 20 plus year customer. Had a pleasant chat with a sales person about shopping for a Father's Day gift, it was helpful. Once I found the item, made an effort to look for their register to make the purchase. This could be considered a luxury garment, it's a special occasion & thought it'ld be nice to have a garment bag for the present. When asked, the team member excused themselves and returned with the gift enclosed in a dry cleaners type, flimsy plastic bag knotted at the bottom. I was a bit puzzled since the person seems to be professional and understood. When asked again, they checked w' another team member & returned with the comment more or less: "that kind of bag could not be given to me because of that kind of spend..." The tone was different and seemed discourteous. In a normal way asked how much I could purchase one for. I'ld like to say that I wasn't asking based on the retail or the final sales price of the garment (good value), it was from what I thought was a conversation about me finding a cool gift. During 20+ years as a purchasing customer, haven't needed anything like this so thought it was a reasonable ask. It was suggested that I could go to customer service, maybe they could provide one, but were not sure? I would've preferred a simple no thank you, that's not available rather than the snarky, condescending remark. No aches nor pain. In fact for seven dollars extra they cost the shoe with some sort of protective spray to make it look more shiny and appealing . After wearing the sparkling sneakers from Betsy Johnson to "When we are Young," no issues came to be . No blisters of any sort . The cashier assured us that his wife loves Betsy too and they are not just glitz and glam but practical for every day if needed . You can find it at Dillards . We were just out looking and found a new bag. Or a new bag found me . And those sparkly shoes. They are just too cute. DIllard's is my store! I have been shopping at Dillard's since I was in elementary school! They have high quality clothing and I enjoy shopping the clearance racks where you get an additional percentage off of the ticketed price. I love the convenience of having many employees working in each department so that they can answer any questions that I may have. On a side note, the bathrooms are really nice, and have been the same since I can remember! Any time I need to use the restroom while I am in the mall, I use the one in Dillard's. I have not been in a Dillards for quite some time, but my son wanted to look for a new cologne, so I thought this would be a good place to try some out. The staff was so patient and helpful, and he ended up choosing a Prada scent. They offer a $15 sample size so you can wear it for a few weeks to see if you really like it, and it also works great for holiday travel. My son was very happy with the whole experience. My family and I had an uncomfortable and disappointing experience during our recent visit to this store. We went in simply to look around and pick up a few items. As we were comparing the quality of certain products with similar items we had seen at Macy's, an employee suddenly walked toward us and asked if we were "finding everything alright." Normally, this would be a standard greeting, but the way she approached us did not feel welcoming. Instead of sounding like an offer to help, it felt more like, "What are you people doing here?" The interaction had an underlying tone of suspicion, as if we needed to be monitored rather than assisted. That alone made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the employee seemed unfamiliar with the very products we were looking at. She attempted to explain and talk about the items, but it was clear she didn't know much about them. It honestly felt as though she approached us not to provide genuine assistance but to keep an eye on us. Being treated as though we might steal something is extremely upsetting and unprofessional. A customer with $10,000 in their pocket who chooses to spend $1,000, and a wealthy customer who spends the same amount, are still equal customers. Every person who walks into your store deserves the same level of respect and should never be judged by their looks, appearance, or background. It is disappointing that an employee at Dillard's made us feel otherwise. I also want to express that age should come with experience, professionalism, and a certain level of kindness. The employee we encountered was an older lady, and it was surprising to be treated in such a dismissive and uncomfortable manner by someone who should understand how important respect and proper customer service are. This experience left a very negative impression on my family. We visit department stores often, and customer service plays a major role in where we choose to shop. Being watched, judged, or approached with suspicion is unacceptable, and it completely ruins the shopping experience. I hope this issue can be addressed with the staff at this location. Customers should feel welcomed, not monitored. I wouldn't recommend Asian families coming here. read more

I came in here looking for clothes to wear to job interviews. I'm graduating from college, and it is time for me to upgrade my wardrobe. I thought Dillard's would be a nice place to shop. There is a grumpy man working in the suit area. He looked like he was going to throw up. I'm not sure if he is sick. Maybe he is battling an illness? Whatever the case, he was trying to sell me sports coats that were not my size (I know my measurements), and I feel like he was trying to get me to buy something and get out. We have shopped Dillards in may locations across the US. By far this is the worst. 12/10/21 6pm. We went into this location to purchase men's shoes and possibly some other items. Guaranteed sales mind you. 1) Waited and waited and waited for 20min in the men's shoes for a sales associate. Asked at the perfume counter for help and they were too busy talking amongst them selves to be bothered to call someone. 2) When the gentleman finally showed up 30min later and with no help from other associates, he walked right past me standing in his path and spoke around me to another customer behind me said "Are you being helped miss?" Humm I didn't think I had my cloking device turned on or was wearing my shoes camouflage outfit. 3) When I then spoke up and said umm we were here first this person ignored me again and continue right on his way. I went to Dillard's aboit 2 weeks ago and bought a bra . It was a little big bit was told it would work. I got home took the tags (they kept poking me ) and wore it with my dress The bra was to big. When I went to return it at 10 am the next day as soon as they opened. I was told no . The sales manager told me I was told so . I said no one told me and if they did I am partially deaf and did not hear. I asked, can I exchange it , I have the tags and receipt both in mint condition. No beicase of Covid I asked what do you do with thr bras people try on , she said they spray them . I asked why can't you spray mine and reattach the tags. (Because I am sure you have machine to attach the tags) I got no answer. WILL NEVER SHOP AT DILLARDS again after always getting my bras there. I came to return clearance pants that didn't fit my boyfriend, and these were purchased at another Dillards. If you see a store associate named Belinda, do not approach her. I went to her counter while she was folding clothes and asked if I could process a return. She turned the bag upside down to empty it quickly, ran her fingers over the pant creases for a couple minutes, and had a judgmental look in her eyes. Then she said, "These were worn... can't take them back... see look at these creases". I told her that he tried them on, they didn't fit right, and that he never wore them... Then she kept repeating herself and said, "You can go back to the other Dillard's or try another counter" in an annoyed tone. I then approached the middle counter, and Valeria assisted me. She simply asked me for the items, scanned them, and gave me a return receipt. She was kind, fast, and helpful. I don't understand why Belinda had to speak in a rude tone, be judgmental, and spend minutes assessing the pants- especially because the clothes were a clearance buy and not worn. It also seemed like she didn't want to go through the process of returning the items and just continue folding. read more

WOW!! I have never been to a department store with such amazing employees. My husband and I needed clothing for our daughter's upcoming wedding. Stan is fantastic in men's suit department. We had help in men's shoes, women's formal wear, and women's intimates. These people made us feel like the most important people in the store. I wish I had the names of the other employees. We were there today, 12/16/23 between 1-4pm. The man in shoes may have been Ken. The woman in women's formal wear had brown hair and an accent. In intimates, her name was possibly Julia. I hope management sees this and recognizes how great their employees are. The buttons to call for assistance they have in the dressing rooms are something I've never seen anywhere else - very cool. Not to many Dillard's left in Vegas but this is definitely my go to one. We always tend to come just to see what's new or what sales are going on ,well we we're near the perfume area and we were greeted by a lovely sales associate Lorena. Well she simply asked how are day was and we went from there she showed us a new fragrance without knowing my favorites she picked out Burberry and its like she knew my tastes. The fragrance was so soft and beautiful and just from a wonderful conversation I couldnt say know so without being in there for perfume i walked away with a new set of "HER" by Burberry. Thank you Lorena for adding to my favorites and for simply taking the time to show us and speak with us the way you did you made us feel welcomed and valued. She was laughing with another employee and when I showed her the problem with my coach bag she immediately said that there was nothing she could do. I said to her to please get a manager. I had never been to a Dillard's before, and even after living in Henderson for about four years now, this was the first time I set foot inside one. I was looking for a specific pair of jeans for my fiance to wear for our engagement photos. I had been to Macy's, JCPenney, and Kohl's with no luck, and my last stop was Dillard's. I was ecstatic because they had one pair left in the size that I needed. I went to look for somewhere to checkout, and. not one but two employees saw me looking around, and came to my help right away. I was able to check out quickly, and the person who checked me out was so sweet. While I was looking for the jeans, I had overheard an announcement made saying that the lingerie section had sizing experts that could help find the appropriate size for you. I decided to go over there because I had recently lost a lot of weight, and definitely needed some new bras. When I arrived in the lingerie section, Amanda was the one who came to help me. She asked me a few questions, and then took me to a dressing room to try on the bras. She literally spent an hour with me trying to find the perfect bra that I was looking for in the right size. She brought over many different bras in different styles for me to try on, and explained to me why certain ones didn't fit right. I was amazing by how professional, patient, and kind she was. I never had anyone spend so much time with me to make sure I found the right product. I will definitely come back to Dillard's because of Amanda and her wonderful customer service! read more

I came in to return shoes I bought a little over 30 days ago, unworn with the return label. They said it wasn't in the system any longer so they would have to call a manager, which was fine the girls working were really helpful however the manager stormed over clearly with her mind already made that she wasn't going to accept the return, very short not at all helpful. The shoes were purchased at 89.00 and were now being sold at $31.00 the previous employee told me and that she could do that. I have been going to the Dillard's in Summerlin for years and was hoping for the same product variety and customer service quality out of the Henderson location. I only had to wait seconds in the men's suit department before I was asked if I needed help. I'm not one to leave distasteful reviews, but the interaction I had with Denean earlier today is STILL bothering me. I began the checkout process with Pam. So sweet, helpful but unable to provide clarity. Sent over to Denean...oh, Denean... I simply asked if you would honor your sale price on a pair of pants as they rang up more than expected. A simple, "unfortunately we cannot, would you still like to purchase?" would've sufficed. HOWEVER, one thing lead to another and here we are. These are the numerous statements made: "That was an old sale sign" "These pants were accidentally placed there by another customer" "We price match online...well no we can't do that" "You're being extra for a pair of polyester pants" "I don't even care to talk about this anymore" after cutting me off, berating a product I chose to buy. Earlier looking me up and down as if I am out of place. The sale sign was removed well after I inquired, the product was with ALL the other inventory on the same rack AND is the same price online, which again I was confused. I wasn't rude, I asked a simple question. It's not about the money, would I have paid for it...yes.. why was it so difficult for you to provide customer service to someone who wanted a pair of "polyester pants" at the advertised price both online AND in-store is beyond me. I appreciate you for reluctantly doing so in the end, however your nasty comments and attitude could've been kept to yourself. You stated to a coworker earlier that it was "so slow in here" and I wonder if your demeanor towards customers has anything to do with that. "If I get in trouble for this" will be solely based on your performance as a worker and not because you honored a price that was clearly advertised. Older woman working the men's fragrance counter was incredibly rude. Asked to test one cologne- she takes one look at us and says condescendingly, "It's $220." Then proceeds to say, "So are you actually going to buy anything?" Absurd that this individual would assume we could not afford this cologne based on our appearance. She allowed us to sample 4 or 5 colognes in total, but refused to allow us to smell any testers in which the fragrance was not in stock at the store. Had an attitude and acted disinterested the entire time. We were respectful and were not trying to waste anyone's time; however, I will NOT be giving commission to an employee who judges and treats customers this way. Instead, we chose to get assistance from a very pleasant employee working the women's fragrance counter, as she had been extremely helpful previously. As we approach the men's fragrance counter again, this older woman says, "Oh really, so you go and get her. Not like I just spent 30 minutes with them." She spent maybe 3 minutes with us in total- spraying a tester and then immediately walking away after handing us the card. The entire time we were being helped, she stared at us with the dirtiest look on her face. And yes, we did purchase the $220 cologne. Really disappointing that Dillard's employs an individual who speaks to customers in this manner. And thank you to the lovely woman and vendor working in the women's fragrance area. read more

My husband and I have shopped in Dillard's for at least 22 years. We always had a good experience and usually would find what we were looking for. Staff usually very helpful and pleasant. But I went to the Galleria Mall In Henderson NV. Needed sneakers but in Wide Width, they always carried Wide before and I could count on Dillards for shoes. I asked a sales person if the shoe I had in my hand came in Wide Width? She abruptly said NO! Did not offer any information at all, did not offer any other shoe. I asked if they carried Taos in the store because I have bought them there before and didn't see them, again an abrupt NO! That's what I got out of their sales person. We are in our 60's and Customer Service is definitely not what it used to be, they don't care how they speak to you or treat you. The other thing is it's Christmas time and the store didn't open until 11:00 a.m. on a Friday! I truly don't understand. read more

Departments are not fully staffed. Employees enjoy talking amongst themselves rather than looking to make sales or help customers. The service has went completely down hill. I went to Dillards to buy perfume at Chanel. I just wanted to buy it and go. Lee (associate ) and Alan (Manager)were working that night they had to help me figure what type of perfume I needed cause I didn't bring a picture. I'm Reposting this Honest Review not sure why it was taken down, idk maybe because what I've said is true. As a Person who Used to work here, I've seen how the management team they have now Works. Managers here couldn't care less about their customers or their associates. The Store Manager has no Sympathy for their Employees, he doesn't keep promises based on their accomplishments, instead diverts the goal they recently made and pushed them to do more. This location disposes of their Employees as if they're Trash. They don't even bother to revise ways to help their current employees with their first mistakes, they tore and work you to the bone, and if an opportunity to better the companies work ethics come to their door step on a silver platter the management team will clean their shoes with it. Associates working here longer than I have mentioned if they worked as a team more instead of against each other the work environment would improve, but no one says anything because they are afraid what little they have. Edit* I've tried contacting the district manager and HR but Still I haven't Heard ANYTHING back from them since they said they would contact me in two days 2 weeks ago.
