There is never parking here when I go anymore, other than sometimes the farthest corners the vibe here is also a little off, can't speak to why, maybe a little dim? I do appreciate that their food court is separate but sheltered for when it's cold out and also to separate the crowds by the doors when there is a line, from the people going to grab a bite. read more

Take this with a grain of salt as I am running on 2 hours of sleep and have been awake since 4am for work. I also used to work at Costco and their customer service is usually really good! I was looking for a specific product. Asked if someone could check the stock. They had 10, but suggested I should go to Evertte or Marysville Costco because they had more. Not even attempting to help me look for it. I understand it would have been difficult to find within the stock pile but some more effort would have been appreciated. Then it's time to check out and they were doing a buddy system, cashier is ringing items, another person is using a hand scanner to get the next persons order pre-scanned. I make sure all the codes are flipped up to make it easy. Get to the actual register and get told my membership expire at the beginning of the month and would need to pay $130. No other point in my journey had I been told this. I didn't have the amount to cover this surprise annual. Had to step out of line. Go down to membership downgrade my account and pull out cash as I have a max daily limit on my card. Get back with my reinstated membership and then have to rescan all the items I had already packed nicely. I get they needed to rush but during this process they crumpled my chips and tossed my packaged fruit around. RIP to my delicate groceries. I was fine with having to get into line again but I was told they could hold my order and just pull it up again. Given I didn't respond the best in this situation and let the stress get to me. This is a review for the food court, specifically the new mint ice cream. I just got the plain mint and asked them to split the soft serve into two cups because I was sharing with someone. It was $1.99 which wasn't bad price wise and portion size is hugeeee. So definitely split it. Maybe I should've gotten the chocolate syrup on top and the chocolate bits... but that mint ice cream I'm sorry it tastes like crest toothpaste that's been in the fridge for way too long. I was sooo disappointed by the mint flavor. Mint is one of my favorite flavors but this was quite a turn off. I'm willing to give the chocolate syrupy one a try though! read more

This Costco is busy, but aren't they all? We arrived early in the morning, so parking was easy to find, but by the time we were leaving, there were car lines wrapped around waiting for a spot. There is parking in front of the store and across the street on the side, but it fills up fast. I really liked that the eating area had heaters and was enclosed. Inside, it felt like your typical Costco, fully stocked with everything I was looking for and then some. My only complaint is that this area gets really congested, so depending on when you arrive, traffic and parking can be a hassle. read more

I only go to this Costco for the gas station, food court, or return line. I avoid this location now. Interesting Costco. People fight over and steal parking spaces. Even the reserved spots are fought over...very weird behavior and situations I've seen. Literally a man getting out of his vehicle to yell at a couple in another vehicle. I'm sure the cart return employees have stories to tell! The employees at the register can be pushy trying to persuade you to buy more product. I had an employee ask me to add steaks onto my purchase?... One of my last visits a male employee entered the women's bathroom even after we stated clearly and loudly we were using the bathroom more than twice...Very uncomfortable experience. It gets busy at this location and the hassle isn't worth it to me. I prefer the Issaquah or Redmond location. I still enjoy my experience at the gas station here and have had easy and quick experience when returning. read more

Costco's gas stations are open different hours than the warehouse clubs so they deserve to be a separate business. This gas station is open 6am to 9:30pm Monday to Friday and then 7am to 7pm on weekends. On this rainy Monday morning, there was almost no wait and I was able to fill up very quickly. At peak times on weekends, you could be waiting a half hour. Is 30 minutes of your time really worth the $2 you might save on 20 gallons of fuel? Use either side! Yes, you can use the pumps with the fuel on either side regardless of where the fuel filler is on your car as they have extra long hoses that will fit over just about every car. Not my Sprinter van though! They do not have squeegees and do not sell any of the usual gas station / convenience store merchandise. This is fuel only. You do need to be a member of Costco to use the gas station. Your lower prices are sometimes more than 10c better here than at local gas stations because your annual membership is subsidizing the price. Wow, I was definitely impressed. Clean, neat, very organized. Staff was folding clothes at the tables. WOW . Very good selection of tops pants for men and women. They even had children and baby clothes. Cute stuff. Priced very reasonable (pic to follow) great selection of new items. Lots of gluten free options. Great samples. Good experience. They also had a visit from corporate while shopping. They stayed together and observed. Parking was good, lots of space and the food court was busy selling lots of whole pizza and hot dogs. UPDATE FEBRUARY 16, 2024: I came into the Kirkland Costco one week ago on February 7 to return a hair shaving kit that did not work out well for me. I lost the receipt. Nevertheless, I was able to get an instant no hassle refund! This, despite the fact that I bought the hair shaver on October 27, 2023, which was more than 90 days earlier. (I had to ask the nice lady at the service desk for the day that I originally bought it) That, and the fact that Costco accepts Apple Pay, have caused me to bump up the rating from four stars to five stars. read more

Really had bad experience in this location was not greeted and associate named Grace on the door tried to lecture me that there is a limit per member but i was never told because i usually go to Lynnwood, i asked her so i have to sign up membership for my kids and my parents then she said she didnt know that they are my kids because my kids look older than us. I think this is my favorite Costco location in the area. It doesn't feel much bigger than Lynnwood, but it tends to have more of what I'm looking for. From little things like the chocolate covered dried mangoes to getting the pre-made meals I'm looking for, I've had the best luck finding it in Kirkland. They also just tend to have more samples which is always fun. Important to note for non-members, the hot food is located on the outskirts, where you don't have to flash your ID to get in or order. This particular Costco has a different layout than I've seen. This is both good and bad of course. The entrance is all the way to the left of the building which is kind of good because it keeps the crowd from being all over the place. This is the first Costco I've seen where the food court is outside, I guess it's shuttered in the wintertime? The first main aisle sort of leads to a dead end. Maybe it wasn't just me either, another couple people walked to it too. There was paper products back there but there was also like the employee lounge or something and it's weird it doesn't loop around like other Costcos. The layout is OK overall, I like how how it's kind of reversed here or than I'm used to where everything is back left food wise. This isn't really against Costco but what was annoying was more people than I've seen before would just be sitting in the middle of aisle or would take their time crossing into another. It was like 3 times this happened in my one visit. Are they slipping slow pills into the free samples? Other than that. A decent enough Costco. read more

1. Avoid Costco suppliers for Washer Dryer GE & Countertops. 2. Washer Dryer delivery is by Ritchie Trucking. They have now cancelled 2x day of saying they dropped a route or truck issue. Today, they say they cant find a place to park for their very large truck. 3. They could have still pulled up and easily delivered it via the alley as most people do. We have elevator for them too thru the garage. 4. Now they say they will see about a smaller truck another day. They could have looked on google to plan their route or asked more questions. Never had such an issue at this condo for any of the deliveries or remodels. This is 4 days of blocking off the ENTIRE day for them. On top of that, i had to pay someone to be on site to receive delivery as we are not on site and need to get this sorted. This has lead us to spending over $432 for just these three days to pay the person to be on site, as we had to contract for the entire day. 5. Waiting for Costco.com to see what they might do. 6. still don't have the appliance. 7. Go to ARNOLDs. (see my review) as they are great & would never have let us down. My family has been coming to the Kirkland, WA location for over 20 years and have always had positive customer service experiences, but a cashier named Amy was extremely rude to my father for no reason at all. We had a large bag of soil on the bottom of our cart at checkout and it appeared Amy was struggling to lift the bag in order to scan it. My dad went around the counter and asked if he could help her and all she responded with was "Get out of the work area". She did not say please or even look at my dad saying this. The reply was so unexpected it took a second to register and when I asked her to confirm it she said "Well he shouldn't be back here, I had it so he really didn't have to do that". I told Amy what she said was rude as my dad was just offering to help and all she had to say was "Oh, sorry" in a rather sarcastic tone and carried on ringing up our items. It seemed she couldn't have cared less and that was the end of the conversation. I understand it may get frustrating if people are constantly walking through this area, but there is no reason to snap at a customer who just wanted to help. I also understand Amy was probably near the end of her shift and could've been tired but she was incredibly rude towards us and when I calmly raised my concern to her about the way she spoke I felt dismissed. We have always experienced professional service here, so this interaction came as a shock to us. I get 95% of our fuel here. The prices are usually the best in the neighborhood. The pumps are usually in good working order and the attendants do a great job keeping the area nice and tidy. You have to be a Costco member to gas up here. read more

Like many Costco these days, there's a separate gas station off to one side. This is an older Costco, and this gasoline station was added a few years ago. Because of the tight quarters and this gas station was basically squeezed into this land, there is usually a line, and once in a while, I'll see a confused driver. We always go after hours or off-hours on a weekday for minimum or no lines. Today, we came on a Monday, about 5:30pm, zero line! Drove right up to the pumps! Cost is always, always cheaper than other gas stations. I think there is generally one attendant. We never need help so don't look around for him/her, either. The only "ding", there's no windshield squeegee. I miss those, since this is the only gas station I use now. LOL. read more

I wasted my time when your website says you close at 7 pm weekends when in fact you close early at 6 pm. Why you close early on the weekends is beyond me as the parking lot is packed with customers looking to shop (who were beyond annoyed when they realized you were closing early) but at the very least please be clear about what your hours are by updating your hours online and stop pissing people off. read more

I like coming to the Kirkland location because it has more items than some others. BUT I came to return an item, and the lady working the desk, her name is Kristie, was so rude. The return I made was an item purchased under my partner's membership (who was not present with me at the time of return). I had my Costco card out and when she asked to scan the card, I did let her know that the purchase was made under his membership (since I also didn't have a receipt). When I asked if this was okay, she replied "No, but I'll do it anyways." Which I thought was accommodating given their new policies, but I also felt that it was said with an attitude. She then said that she can give me store credit or put it back on a Visa, when I was going through my purse looking for my Visa, I simply pulled out a few of my cards to check which were Visa and which were MC. When she saw the MC, she probably assumed I was going to use it because she continued to say, "I can only put it on a Visa." (Again, with a tone). I am never one to write a review, mostly because I know everyone has their days and I have been there before. I like this location and I am generally happy with my experiences. It tends to get busy on the weekends especially Sundays, so I personally avoid these days. It's not bad if you go on weekday evenings. Also the gas station opens at 7am and closes a hour or so after the store closes so and it's convenient to fill your tank on the way to work in the morning when it's a lot more quiet. I love Costco. It's a place where you can buy all your favorite things in bulk and get your steps in. We get almost all our groceries and gas here, and it's really worth it when you have the executive membership. We haven't experienced anything we need to be out of stock, and all the employees are super nice. The only downside is that lines to the register and the gas station can be long during rush hours, but they move quickly. We recently started self-checkout, which is great when you don't have too many heavy items. Overall, this Costco location is really great! read more

Let me start by saying I love Costco. I've been a Costco member for years. I am so disappointed by this location. It's convenient and close to home but I will not be coming back. I will be making the drive to any of the other locations. I don't normally come to the Kirkland location, and my last two visits have given me more reason to stay away. The first, was a very cranky cashier. They tried to help unload my cart, which I always appreciate, but I told them I had two separate orders in the same cart so I could keep them separate. After an eye roll and rudely dropping the item back into the cart, they went back to scanning. I can understand how it may be annoying to have to slow down for someone with two separate orders, but working as a cashier at a wholesale store, I'd think they'd be used to a variety of orders. As I was waiting for the rest of my items to scan, I forgot to tap my card and the cashier waved their hand in my face and towards the pay pad. I guess words were lost on them. Second time, I was told to be patient "like a lady" by the cashier when I asked for a second box since the first one was full and my items were staring to pile up. I was asked if I wanted a second cart, I said no since I was already pushing the store cart and a baby stroller. After I said no to both the cashier and the person boxing my items, they continued to look around for an empty cart and load it with the rest of my items. After paying, as I struggled to maneuver two store carts and a stroller (thankfully I had some help), the cashier then decided to ask if I need help out, as they already start scanning the next customers things. To top it all off, the gas station was closed for some reason (it wasn't closing time), big bummer. After years of being a member and shopping at Costco, the worst Costco experiences happen at the same location. I'm very disappointed in the Kirkland Costco and do not plan on returning. read more
