I truly never thought I would be here giving a tire shop 5 stars, but here I am! I have been to a few different places to get my car fixed in the past, but this was the location closest to my house with the soonest availability, so I went here. My back right tire was continuing to lose air and I was filling it every few weeks. I finally brought it in after it got lower than usual. The mechanic was great at dumbing things down for me and giving me all the options. He said they could fix it, but that my tires were in really bad shape and it might be better to replace them all instead. I wasn't sure if this was just sales, but he took me to look at my tires compared to new ones and WOW. Whoops, my bad for never replacing them. I told him that I work from home and really only drive to see friends or go to appointments and hardly ever go over the pass, and he showed me some discount tires that would work for my needs without any extras. I liked that he gave me several quotes and options but still recommended the least expensive based on my needs, felt very genuine. He also didn't judge me when I asked what "fixing my alignment means" and showed me how my alignment would affect my driving. This also felt like a genuine add on. For a full set of new tires and alignment repair, I was there an hour and a half. The waiting room is HUGE! Tons of seating and plugs, plus they had popcorn and water. Really clean too. I brought my airpods, laptop, and ipad so I could work and watch tv while I was there. Free fast wifi too! It was a wonderful, quiet, clean place to wait. When I was checking out, the sales associate said that the would send me reminders to get my tires rotated so these would last me as long as possible. This was awesome, because I know I would forget. Within 20 seconds of driving off I FELT the difference in my car. I regret waiting so long to go in and get everything checked out! read more

This is the best Les Schwab there is. Last year, my cars tires got punctured 4 times! Yes 4 times, I think it was because all the construction in the area. But it was free every time. Free. In the last year, I have brought my car there about 6, the 4 punctures. 1 flat tire where they fixed the valve stem, and a tire balancing. I paid $30 for all of it. The only thing that costed money was the balancing. And it was something like $7.50 a tire. Love this place. Best tire shop in Kirkland by a mile. read more

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. First time fooled: Les Schwab recommended an $1,100 sway bar to remedy an incessant squeak coming from the wheel area of my vehicle. I paid the $1,100, but the squeak persisted. A few months later, a second auto mechanics shop with which I consulted diagnosed and fixed the problem for $200. (It wasn't the sway bar). But hey, it's a guess and no one gets it right every time. No hard feelings. Second time fooled: One of my run-flat tires was flat. I incorrectly remembered purchasing them from Les Schwab. So that's where I went. They told me I had to replace all four because they were run-flat. They recommended an out-of-stock tire that totaled more than $1,500. Regretfully, I said 'okay.' They ordered it. A few hours later, I realized that I had actually purchased the tires from Costco and that Costco has a similar tire repair policy. I called Les Schwab immediately to cancel the order. But they told me I would have to pay an $80 re-stock fee. When I went to pick up my vehicle the next morning, I asked why I wasn't informed of the re-stock fee before I agreed to the order. We discussed the issue quietly for a few minutes. But the manager would not concede that, perhaps, Les Schwab should inform their customers of the re-stock fee before they encourage (and yes, they do encourage) their customers to agree to the order. (Every company with which I have dealt that charges a re-stock fee has clearly notified me of that fee before I close the transaction.) I called back the following day and told the manager that the transaction didn't sit well with me; and that Les Schwab should notify customers of a re-stock fee before they obligate them to one. The manager was argumentative and defensive and insisted customers should assume Les Schwab charges them re-stock fees for out-of-stock purchases. Well, I will now. But, I also won't be going back there. Turns out, Costco recommended replacing just one tire for $36 after measuring the tread of the three existing tires and finding they had plenty of tread to support the vehicle's All-Wheel Drive system. So even with the re-stock fee, I paid $116 ($80 to Les Schwab; $36 to Costco) to remedy a problem for which Les Schwab was going to charge me more than $1,500. read more

The dealership refused to patch my tire and asked me to pay $230 for a new one. I called around and at Les Schwab it was only $190. They could have easily sold me the tire since I had already been told the nail was too close to the sidewall for repair. However, after they inspected it, they told me that they could patch it instead!! I really appreciate the honesty. Ethan and Austin worked on my car. Whenever I get that "low air" warning on my tires, I just drive up, they quickly fill my tire with air, and I'm on my way, no charge. At my most recent experience, they found a screw in my less-than-a-week-old tire. Not only did they start fixing it right away, the job took less time than they predicted, and it was also no charge! We paid over $2,000 for new tires on our Porsche Cayenne. At some point they removed the keyhole cover to lock the car but failed to put it back correctly. It popped off somewhere along the road in the first 10 minutes of leaving Les Schwab. I've called and the refuse to replace the part and claim it is not their fault. I brought my car into Les Schwab as it was making a metal on metal noise. It had been suggested to me that it may be my brakes or a loose lug nut. I figured it was worth taking to Les as they would check both those things to determine if that was indeed the problem and if it was, they would be able to remedy it for me. This would save me the $300 the Ford dealership wanted to charge me just to look at it. I explained all of this to them and they agreed to check if the source of the noise was either thing. It took an hour for them to get my car into the garage, that was fine, they were sort of busy. I saw them drive my car around, so I knew they were wanting to hear the noise. Good sign! Then I was called up to the desk and told that indeed my brakes needed to be changed and my brake pads were really low. Great! I agreed to the assessment. I was told it would take another 2 hours to have the service done. I waited. I was called up to the desk upon completion. At which time I was informed of the cost- which matched the quoted estimate and then...,,HERES THE KICKER....."we determined that the source of the noise was not your brakes". Excuse me? What's that now? Come again? "Yes, ma'am, you needed new brakes but you will still have the noise." This is such unacceptable business practice. Such a bait and switch. I am so upset. I NEVER would have paid $400 for new brakes as I am going to trade this car in in a matter of weeks. I may have needed brakes but they took that choice from me and represented the brakes as the source of the noise- THE REASON I BROUGHT MY CAR IN! Furthermore, the mechanic said he didnt have my work order before changing the brakes, so he didn't know. What? Why would you ever touch a car without a work order?? My car still makes the wretched sound and my tire pressure low light came on, on my way home! So I'm not even sure they checked my tires or lug nuts. I guess I have new brakes...at least that's what they say. I feel swindled. It's a man's world at Les Schwab Boys Club. I'm so upset. 3.5 hours, $400 and I was lied to. read more

Came in during a hectic day with a screw in my tire. Really nice guy came out to my car and checked and filled my tires. Within an hour and a half, I was out with no charge. I couldn't believe it-I was so shocked. I would have bought a new tire or paid pretty much anything to get back on the road the day before Christmas. Still, they charged me nothing! I couldn't just walk out of there without giving those professional and informative people a tip (20$). I almost feel like driving back and giving them more money because they were so cool. While I waited, I asked another person working there about my snow chains, and he was beyond happy to help! There was zero sales pitch or anyone pushing any of the people who walked in to buy anything during the hour and a half I was there. I have been to four Les Schwaab's in Seattle, and i would never go anywhere else for tire assistance. Two other things I loved about this place: it is Mormon family-owned, and it is walking-distance to a lot of great food and stores where you can waste time (Denny's Pet World). I needed to lift my 4 Runner after going a size up on my tires and had some rub. I reached out to Les Schwab and talked to Chris. He is SO knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was talking about. When talking through a game plan, he mentioned standard kits aren't compatible with KDSS, and of course I have KDSS. He wasn't deterred and made a bunch of calls to find a kit that would work. I was blown away at his willingness to do all of the footwork to help me out. The kit arrived sooner than expected, and Chris called me as soon as it arrived to get me scheduled as soon as possible. He is truly an asset to Les Schwab. I just picked up my car a few hours ago, and it looks SO GOOD! I'm very happy with how it turned out! Recommend Les Schwab Tires for being a truly exceptional business. My SUV tire had a screw in it and the "local" Kirkland tire shop didn't want to fix it and instead sell me new tires. My tires still had 5/32 thread. I understand few businesses can compete with Costco on tire pricing, but they were quoting a price which was roughly 35% higher. Enter Les Schwab (Bellevue), who not only fixed my tire (they fix it down to 2/32 thread depth), they also rotated all four tires on request. NO CHARGE! read more

Went here for a brake check since i couldn't get in with a mechanic i knew quick enough. When they told me it would be nearly $1000 to fix everything i was immediately suspicious. Looking at their quote there was replacing parts that don't even exist on my car, and the person working on it said my tires could fall apart at any minute and it was dangerous to drive it. I thanked him for his time and went for a second opinion i trust more. Only half the work they pitched was necessary, and my mechanic said my tires were fine, and had plenty of life. They sell tires, and thats what they want to do. I would only come here if i know exactly what i need from them as i no longer trust their diagnostics. read more

The warning light for tire pressure came on suddenly so I went to another business nearby to check all four tires, it turned out that one had a slow leak but the place nearby could not get me in and I was in a rush trying to get to Olympia which is over an hour away. I called Costco since that's where I got the tires but they could not get me in at all that day. Luckily I found Les Schwab and they were super helpful, took my car right in, and fixed the tire at no cost. I was with my dog, so while they worked we went on a walk and then came to sit comfortably inside their shop where they have complementary Wi-Fi, comfy seats and a TV. After they finished, Alisha (sp?) checked me out and let me know the fix was done and it was complementary. I was in disbelief and told her the tires were not purchased ay their location to which she responded "that's OK, just think about us whenever you need anything else". Love it, and I will! I had a screw in my front tire and took it to three places and no one wanted to repair and only wanted to sell me a tire for $498 for one tire. I got a call from the folks I purchased the car and they referred me to Les Schwab in Totem Lake and spoke with Chris the manager. He looked at it and said we can fix this. They not only fixed it on the spot and they did not charge me for the labor or fix!! I even offered a tip and they would not take one. Incredible service and nice folks there. I went in to get a low tire light checked out and there were signs in the store letting customers know of a funeral procession for a Bothell Fire Department Lieutenant, who lost his battle from cancer, passing the store along 124th and while the procession is passing by, the workers and staff would be stopping work to pay their respects. This is something I have not seen since I was in a procession for a fallen police officer in Des Moines in 2001. My hats off to them for honoring local heroes. read more
