I truly love TJ Max. It is a fun store to find a variety of treasures. The location is great because there are many other stores to visit in the center as well as such a large community nearby. Parking is good and the value/prices are phenomenal. I also like that there is a Home Goods next door. I have been very loyal to this particular TJ Max. Today I went in to check things out and I felt disappointed to see so few clothing racks. The handbag racks were reduced significantly and so were the clothing racks. When I compare it to Factoria TJ it has 30% of the clothing at Woodinville location. I'm hoping this changes because this particular store is really needed. There is limited clothing options in the area so TJ is truly a go to and with more housing coming in, the business will continue. read more

This is the location closest to my house and I love going here! I find their clothing section to be very small. The women's section was only about 5 racks last time I went and 3 were clearance. I wanted to look at sweaters and didn't even see any. The home, accessory, and beauty sections are great! They have so many cute bags at this location. I also love the K-Beauty they carry. The home decor is so cute, but very seasonal, so be sure to look for what you want about a month early. I went Sept 1 and they had their full display of Halloween candles, but I imagine as mid-October approaches they may be in shorter supply. I find somedays I totally score with deals here and sometimes I leave empty handed. Sometimes the line is SUPER long, and sometimes it is short. They do have a great line system and move people through quickly, other than the employees being required to try to get you to sign up for a credit card. read more

I just want to take a moment to recognize Rida at the TJ Maxx in Woodinville. She is always so kind, professional, and genuinely helpful every time I visit. You can tell she truly enjoys her job, and it shows in the way she treats customers. This location has become my favorite store -- not just because of the beautiful merchandise, but because of the warm, friendly, and helpful staff like Rida. There are a lot of the same brands as Nordstrom's Rack and the value for the price is great!!I probably stop in almost every day so most of the salespeople know my name, and it's always a pleasure. I've always liked this store and usually find clothes here, but my last 2 visits highly disappointing! Very little inventory for clothing, seems to be less than half of what they used to have, and what there was pretty bad. Worse TJ Maxx I have ever been to. Selection was very sparse. I was impressed at first there were sales people around to ask for help. I came in for reading glasses, broke a pair in this trip. Unfortunately, didn't have the strength I needed but grabbed something close. When it came to checking out, there were only two checkouts and both were hung up with price checks. The one was helping the other to check, but insisted she had to finish up her check first. The line (originally one person in front of me and no one behind) just kept growing. One call for help to the register that finally came 10 minutes later. By the time I reached the register there were 15 or more behind me. The store had just opened. Those early shoppers want in and out quick. Definitely don't recommend coming here Sparse Selection and the staff seems unaware of how to prioritize the check out line. read more

I've been going to this TJMAXX for years.... Today was a good shopping experience other than checkout time when the cashier was PUSHING the credit card. 3 times repeating her self and why I needed to open one up. 1 time is understandable as she is doing her no . 3 times is unacceptable and starting to sound like a used car salesman. I probably will avoid this cashier again because next time I won't be with my mother and l would hate to have to tell her to knock it off in front of her peers. read more

This is a fun store to check out if you need items for your home, travel luggage, clothing, and even cookware and make up. If you have teens, it's great place to get them clothing and even some cheaper but good quality make up and skin care products. I feel bad for leaving such a bad review because I truly enjoy shopping at TJ Maxx but today's experience was just awful. I came to return a couple of items and have a sensor removed from a dress I had purchased previously. I had my receipt to show proof of purchase (from 5/17) and the customer service staff thought I had either brought in the wrong receipt or had purchased the dress from another store, or purchased the dress from their store months ago because they no longer tagged their clothing with this specific type of sensor. In short, they no longer had the equipment to remove this particular sensor. I waited around 30 minutes and stayed pretty calm and kept my cool but I could tell the staff were annoyed. During this waiting period, none of the staff would make eye contact with me or even speak to me. After waiting, I asked if I could just return the dress in its entirety and get my money back because 30 minutes had already lapsed. They obliged to do so. I just wish the staff were a little more respectful. read more

If you are a makeup junkie‍ this location is great compared to Everett's store which rarely has anything good in stock. The Woodinville store regularly has Too Faced, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Nars and other brands I cannot think of at the moment. Much bigger makeup section and selection and the store is much cleaner and better organized than Everett's and the makeup isn't all ruined. It's what you would expect from these stores in general. It was an organized mess per usual. You can see the employees actively trying to excoriate recovery. It's never ending. You have to be in the mood to this. It's similar to being sucked into a time tunnel. Time flies. My reason for stopping is was because I was specifically looking for slacks. So disappointed y the selection. I think I'm average or common in size 2 (26/27) . There were NO pants for me in women's & even the ones labeled small with a cinched high waist didn't fit. So the best I needed up with were gap chino pants in decorative designs - I didn't end up keeping them. I did have luck finding nice tops, coats especially a fierce leather tailored motorcycle jacket with flowers stitched into the arms. It's gorg I also found some gems like gold slip on loafers and greats deals on OPI nailpolish in get colors. Had a wide range of experience with the staff some bland other personable and chatty , depends on who you talking too. Great location! Lots of variety of gifts and name brands as well. Love there jewelry section the most as they have amazing jewelry finds from sterling silver to gold plated and great gift boxes too from necklaces, bracelets and earnings. Lines were long but that's expected for the holidays and it was going pretty fast. Also had a stocked shoe section compared to other stores. I was able to find a few a few good deals! read more

I love this location of TJM! They have a great selection of items and don't seem to get quite as crowded as some of the other locations in the Seattle area. The employees here are really friendly and checkout is always quick and easy. The parking lot can be a challenge as it is designed to benefit the stores to the right of TJ Maxx and then there is a big driveway that takes away potential parking spaces. That being said, once you park you can just stay here for hours as there's a Homegoods right next door. If you get tired and need a pick me up, Starbucks is just at the other end of the shopping center. I've been here a couple of times for their member events on Saturday mornings and that has been a fun way to shop early before it's busy and get a good selection of products. read more

This is probably my least favorite T.J Maxx store... They don't seem to have as large of a selection of the Northgate location. However, this place seemed rather clean and tidy to me, not a big cluster mess like Ross (I rarely have the patience for that place!) I always enjoy shopping their home section, they have some great deals on wall art, kitchen goods... etc. The clearance area is a big hodge-podge of every random thing you can find, and no sort of order. I hate clothes shopping. I really do. But I have no plans on joining a nudist colony, so once in a while I am forced to step foot in a dreaded clothing store and attempt to find something that fits and flatters. I almost always choose TJ Maxx, and specifically their Woodinville location for several reasons: 1. There is always a dressing room available. 2. It's never very crowded. 3. I can find parking easily. 4. The perceived cost savings of shopping at a discount clothing store makes me feel better about the overall experience. 5. I like adding 'extras' on to my shopping experience, like today when I found the cutest wrapping paper and a delicious-smelling soy candle. 6. Check out is efficient and friendly. read more

Everything is very affordable and you never know what you might find here. It is fun to look around and see what is new. Whether you are looking for clothes, home items, pet gear, gifts, even snacks, they have just about everything! I also like that they have lots of dressing rooms available so there usually isn't a wait. The check out line also usually moves pretty quickly, the cashiers are friendly and efficient. I had a very uncomfortable experience in this store. Basically I was told the dressing rooms don't open until 11am (and it was 10:30am) so I was like "ok, that's fine I'll just put the items back and come another time" but the manager said she'd open the dressing rooms just to let me quickly try on the two items, HOWEVER, she made a point of telling me repeatedly how inconvenient it was and told me "I'm the manager and now I have to be on the floor because you want to try these items on." I again said it's fine, I'll come back a different time but then she called someone over from jewelry to cover the dressing room and told me "look, she works in jewelry but now she has to cover the dressing rooms" making me feel even worse. I was so uncomfortable I went in the dressing room and tried on one of the two items because I just wanted to get out of that store. Needless to say, I won't be returning. read more

I'm not too big of a fan of this store, in all honesty. The selection of clothing, at least for men, is lacking. I didn't find much that I'd really want to buy, the only thing interesting to me was a blue shirt. Even if I did find something, I found most of their clothing overpriced. I'm not paying $30 for a pair of board shorts, even if they're Volcom. I'm sorry, it's just not happening. The store itself is clean, albeit dry. Also, the fitting rooms aren't. They're fitting stalls. They're built in this weird way, in that your head's visible above the door, and your legs are visible below it. It's just weird, and I felt super uncomfortable changing in there. Also, I felt uncomfortable shopping, with the security tags on everything. Everything. It's one of my biggest pet peeves to feel untrusted, and if a store treats me like this, I'm definitely not patronizing them. The Ross that was formerly in this brick and mortar location was garbage in comparison to this T.J. Maxx replacement. Everything is well-stocked, the aisles are clean, and the aisles don't have product tossed around. Clearly product is kept up-to-date, stocked, and perhaps rotated. Each department has a great variety of name brand products at prices lower than in other stores. All in all, I'm super pleased that this T.J. Maxx provides a pleasant shopping experience. read more

Deal snaggin' at T.J. Maxx is like a scavenger hunt. But if you find somethin' good, chances are the price is great! Women & children luck out here; Large department for both with rows and rows of interesting finds. Jewelry/ watch department is lacking. Shoes are limited compared to other stores and competitors like Ross. Men's clothing seems to be mostly polo type shirts and short sleeved dress shirts. Housewares and Baggage was surprisingly delightful with steals in all sizes and colors. Let's be honest here- the dressing rooms and staff are not the reasons to shop at T.J. Maxx ya'll. I work literally minutes from this store and yet I rarely go in there. I just hate the idea of riffling around unmarked items to find a gem. It's just not my thing...but that's not TJ Maxx's fault. However, their overpricing (based on neighborhood) is. I have been to other TJs and found the same purse (Michael Kors) for $100 less....think, it's a fluke? It's not and that is a shame. **Update 3/15/2015** This store keeps getting better and better. I've been coming here nearly weekly for a while (I've lost weight and have no clothes that fit). As I wrote last year, the store is clean and well laid out, and all departments are clearly marked. I can always find clothing here that fits, looks great and is super reasonably priced. Here are additional cool things about this store I have discovered: -they get new shipments of new clothes weekly. In the past 4 weeks, I've visited here 4 times and there was new inventory each time. And I found clothes that worked for me each time I came here. -you can take as many clothes as you want into the dressing rooms. You heard me right. No limit to how many clothes you bring in to try on! -if you ask the dressing room attendant for a wheeled rack, he or she will give you one to put all your clothes on, to wheel to your dressing room. This comes in really handy if you have more than 15 or 20 items to try on. -the dressing rooms are roomy, with good lighting, a full-size mirror, and an ottoman seat in each. Every time I've come here, every dressing room has been clean, with no clothing left behind from other store patrons. -There is a large tri-fold mirror outside the dressing rooms to better see your clothing from different angles. And, again, good lighting (SO helpful). -there are a lot of designer brands here, with big name labels (Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, etc., and a bunch of trendy labels I've never heard of but my teenage daughters have). -today was the first day I checked out the jewelry section. I was impressed! They had some name brands, like Lucky, at 50% off department store prices (sometimes more). They had some really nice pieces. -Today I asked about their return policy (just in case. So far, I've not had the inclination to return anything). You have 30 days to bring anything back to get reimbursed. Seems reasonable to me. read more

This store is lives up to it's intentions. It's a discount "fashion" store. My daughter and I like it because there are truly semi-designer selections (maybe a season old, but who cares!), the floors are clean, and my most favorite part-their is a proper line! No fighting going on here. Nothing like that other R store. Great customer service, the employees actually apear to like working here, and the haven't had a problem with returns. I'm a bulk buyer for my company and I travel to many TJ Maxx's and Marshalls and every Marshalls I've ever been to has been absolutely horrid and I will never go back (even though they are owned by the same company I find better experiences with TJ Maxx) but the Woodinville TJ Maxx is by far my favorite one that I have been to in Western Washington. Really nice and lots of great things to pick from. They have some really nice brands, too. I found a $108 Dolce Vita blouse for $9.99! The store is nice...wood floors, nice lighting, organized, and clean. It's very similar to the Factoria/Bellevue location. Prices are pretty reasonable the dressing rooms are clean. read more

What's not to like? Cheaper name brand clothes! Great selection on activewear and also housewares. Not a fan of the shoes here, a bit to ghetto for my liking. Not as messy as Ross can sometimes be. TJ Maxx is pretty organized overall and the lines don't get too long as they have a lot of checkers and an efficient numbering system. Always easy to return stuff too. I haven't ever used the restroom or changing rooms so I can't comment there. read more
