Needed to stop in for some goodies to send off to my friend on the mainland. This Wholesale Unlimited Express shop im Kaneohe is a little store in the corner in the strip mall behind Zippys. Although they are small, they do carry many of the snacks that you would find at their main store in Waipahu. They have a wide array of mochi crunch and iso peanuts as well as seeds, gummies, cookies, beef jerkey, and other local treats. The variety is so big that it was a little hard to decide what to get. I love that most of their goodies come in different sizes so you could get smaller amounts or bigger amounts if you wish. The employee that assisted me was very friendly and helpful. She offered assistance and answered all of my questions. This is a great to shop visit for your local goodies on the windward side. read more

Seed selection seemed to be limited compared to that of. the Moanalua location. They had a good cookie selection (Betty's Best). Their kakimochi (arare) selection takes up a whole wall. Waited in line while the clerk tried to process a gift card for a. customer in front of me. After a number of tries the customer ended up paying with a credit card. We were on a mission to go Christmas shopping for gifts so we decided to go to the Windward side. It was marathon day and when you live in Hawaii Kai, going to town is a no- go for sure. We stopped by Wholesale Unlimited to pick up some gifts and some snacks for our airplane ride. Although the store may seem small from the outside, they had a lot of supply inside. They had gift baskets of different price ranges, crack seed, cookies, gummies, etc. We ended picking up a basket and some chocolate strawberries, sour patch li hing gummies, kimi balls, and dehydrated skittles. It was hard to narrow down what to get since they had so many choices. Some of the things we bought for our trip were gone in one day. I really liked the chocolate strawberries. It's like dehydrated strawberry covered with chocolate. I'm gonna hide these from my husband so he doesn't eat the rest. A lei for the Guest of Honor is hands-free and is visible to everyone! There's free parking, good lighting and great air conditioning in this tidy shop. The service is satisfactory and helpful! Not sure why they have the name that they do since it doesn't appear that you can purchase anything wholesale - items are placed in small packages (maybe because the owner got the items wholesale)? Unfortunately any discount that the owner received for buying wholesale isn't passed on to customers since everything is pretty pricey. It is a good one stop shop for unique snacks from Asia (especially Japan) and hawaiian treats, they do offer gift baskets, shipping assistance (so tailored for folks purchasing gifts of snacks to share with others). read more

A great place to buy snacks! I used to always buy from the Kahala location which is gone to make way for the new additional stores of the Kahala Mall Shopping Center across the street. I live right up the street. Oh, wells. Now, I just buy from any of their other locations that they have. So, far I went to the one in Waipahu and this one in Kaneohe. When I am in the area I drop by and pick up some snacks! I like that they have the bigger 14 ounce packages and the snacks last a little longer. The smaller 7 ounce packages is good for when you want to try something different. They have pretty much anything that you can imagine in snacks! This place is easy to get to, plenty parking, a quick in and out and you are on your way. I like this location and I will continue to come back for my snacks or for presents(care packages) to give away to friends that don't live here anymore and they miss Hawaii. read more

Very very rude sales clerk at this location. We've been buying snacks to give out at Christmas from Wholesale Unlimited FOREVER.....until this year. We just went to the Kaneohe location (as we've done since they stood up) and were met with THE RUDEST salesperson ever. We couldn't find something we normally buy and looked over to the register and asked if they had any, thinking we just weren't seeing it hanging on the wall. Without even making eye contact, she tersely said, "no!". She didn't even look up. She could've said something like, "oh, sorry, we ran out but we have something very similar". Anything would've been better than just a rude "no!". We were just there a few weeks ago buying stuff for a Christmas party and the item was there. We bought like 3 bags of it. I guess they just ran out, which is fine and to be expected, especially at this time of the year. I just couldn't believe the rudeness of the worker and was taken by surprise with her attitude. I looked at my husband and said, "we're out of here". I proceeded to put everything that I had in my baskets (which was a lot) back onto the shelves. Best place to find a wide selection of Hawaiian/Japanese rice cracker snacks! They also have delicious cookies and candies. You can't go wrong with anything that you pick out. Best part is, they can also help you pack a box to ship back to the mainland at the standard USPS flat rate box prices. Wholesale Unlimited is my favorite place to go to stock up on local goodies to bring back to Portland. I love the larger packages of crackseed and island candies. They have a huge selection of my favorite li hing mui flavored snacks, such as li hing gummy bears, sour patch kids, and li hing dried mango. They also have dried seafood snacks (cuttlefish, etc.), and lots of different rice crackers...arare, kakimochi, beef jerkey and other goodies. Wholesale Unlimited also has the famous Betty's Best Cookies. I am not usually a cookie person, but I love Betty's cookies...with the all butter shortbread and cornflake cookies being my favorites. I find that the quality of the snacks here is much fresher than when purchased from other stores on the island. Convenient Location. I was craving some li hint at 8am after shopping on Black Friday and was bummed they were closed. Ended up going there the following day and got my li hing fix. I've been coming here for years. Whenever I'm back home in the islands I have to make a pit stop. They seem to have the best selection of Hawaiian snacks like Baby Li Hing Mui, Crackseed, Kakimochi, Arare and even a pretty good selection of Japanese candy. Quality is always great and the products stay fresher longer since they started using the resealable zip lock packages a while back. Recently I discovered their online store at http://www.cybersnacks.net so I can get my Hawaiian snack fix anyplace and time.
