I needed some black & white photos for an art show, so I went to the Walmart in the valley. Tammy printed the 2 photos that I needed. 1 was black & white and the other one had a blue tint. Walmart only offers a gloss finish; however, I wanted matte. Therefore, I went to Walgreen's on the northside for a matte finish. Unfortunately, their photo printer only printed with a blue tint vs just black & white. Therefore, they refunded me my $. I then went to the Walmart on the northside because I got 1 black & white from them earlier. When I arrived, I told Nick in the photo dept what I had dealt with and that I wanted black & white "without" a blue tint. He printed my photos, put them in an envelope and rang them up. I paid and then pulled them out with the assumption that they would be black & white. They had the blue tint that I didn't want, nor did I see it on the computer screen. I told Nick that they had the blue tint that I didn't want, and he said; 'You much have chosen a filter." I told him that I didn't. He then offered to have me redo them with his help. While waiting forever for him I began the printing process again. I found where there are filters and 1 of the options is black & white which is what I then chose. I told him what I did. I then had to wait another 20 minutes because someone was printing over 700 pictures. When I got my second set of pictures, they were correct. He then charged me once again. Therefore, I paid twice and it took more than an hour. Neither of us were aware that even though you see a black & white picture on the screen you MUST chose the black & white filter for a fully black & white photo. I told the manager what occurred and that they should inform their customers and train their employees better. read more

There should be a flyer or cheat sheet showing how Scan & Go works once shopper gets to checkout area. I order from Walmart a lot. I've recently been having issues with them and their customer service due to a refund dispute of never receiving my refund after returning an item. I keep telling customer service reps that they initiated my refund BUT that it hasn't completely gone through and been received to my bank. I had TWO 3 - way calls with Walmart customer service and BECU to try to resolve this matter but got nowhere. BECU keeps telling them they need to figure out on their end what happened by doing a research request but Walmart is insistent on telling us that there's nothing they can do since the return was initiated. However this does NOT mean it was completed. Walmart basically stole my money and won't do anything about it since they see it as going through partially but not completely. Ignorant and RUDE customer service reps every time I tried to explain the situation and tried to resolve the problem I was having. On my last phone call with them today, THEY HUNG UP while on the three-way call. Her name was Geraldin and she was no help at all. I would like my money back but that most likely won't happen. Went for grocery pick up tonight like I have multiple times In the past, I've always figured there will be a little wait, but not like tonight! I arrived a little before 6 & was shocked at the line of cars waiting just to pull into a pick up spot! I sat in that line for 1/2 hour & cars were lined up into the parking lot. Finally after that 1/2 hour I got a spot to pull Into. Another 20 minutes or so of waiting & only seeing 1 person bringing groceries out to the cars I called& the lady was like "there's no way there's only 1 person out there..." b**** I'm watching this with my own eyes for 45 minutes now!!! Apparently this is a nightly occurrence? She blamed it on corporate because they allow more pick up slots than they can handle. I dunno, pretty sure in the hour I spent waiting for my groceries I could've done my own shopping & checked myself out! What a waste of time! read more

Honestly, I've NEVER shopped a friendlier super centre at 2am!! Every *single* shelf stocking staff who saw us either greeted us or asked (genuinely!) if we found what we were looking for. If we needed help, were MORE than happy to provide it. Nice produce selection, even a (small) gluten-free section. My largest surprise was the gluten free items in the frozen department! Teeny RV freezer so I couldn't buy everything I wanted to try, but! Will keep in mind for the rest of our trip. On the negative side, this Walmart (1 of the 900 stores that do not, 23% of all stores!!) does not allow overnight parking, and hence in the RV after spending $120 USD we were in the position of having to find somewhere to park at 3am. We did note that there were some... damaged cars (homes?) with people sleeping in them on the lot, so they may have had a situation they were trying to counter. A new fun fact I did not know for a city of 48,000 people. Such a shame for an enormous lot to go unused. -1 star but next morning cranky fatigue wants to -2. read more

Typical Walmart. several times recently the customer service was atrocious. they crushed ice cream cones when packing a pickup order and then wouldn't return it at customer service, even to exchange because it's a food item. I interrupted a group of employees just standing around and chatting a couple of weeks ago to get a phone charger out of a locked case after help was called for me in electronics 3 times over the previous 15 min. the whole group concluded they couldn't help me because management was in a meeting. .This Walmart location sucks. We went this morning, spent well over $300.00, got up to the registers, there were no regular check stands open only the self check lanes. When I asked if there was a cashier available I was told no, and given the excuse that no one wants to work. Meanwhile as we are scanning and bagging our own purchases; 3 employees were standing around in the self check area. Does it really take 3 people to monitor that area. There were 2 workers at the entrance, both when we came in and when we left. Had we not needed the items, and my husband had not just finished an over night shift at his work, we would have left the cart full of stuff and gone else where. This is a typical Walmart and generally has everything you need. In some cases they are the only store in town to carry certain items. Otherwise I always wonder if I am going to come out to the parking lot to find my windows broken or find needles laying around. There is generally lots of riff-raff hanging around the parking area and in front of the store. I never have a super strong feeling of security, especially at night. read more

Very disappointed with the curbside ordering. I live an hour away, this being the closest Walmart to me, so I called the store phone prior to ordering and got a recording asking not to bother staff with inventory questions but instead refer to online for most up to date inventory. I hung up as the recording asked, checked online and it said there was a kiddie pool in stock, so I ordered it plus other stuff to get over the $35 minimum for pick up, scheduling pick up for 3 days later. Today I got an email less than 2 hours before pick up saying that the only item not available was the pool, being the only item I actually needed to go to Walmart for... So I called to speak to someone who then told me website is actually NOT the most accurate and that all stores in Spokane are sold out of kiddie pools. It would have been nice to either have the recording not send you to where the inventory is actually incorrect, OR have had communication more than 2 hours prior so I could attempt to find what I need elsewhere and cancel my order. Now, instead, I have driven an houe into town for everything I didnt actually need to drive into town for and am leaving without the one thing I did actually need in town. Overall very disappointed in the lack of accurate information pertaining to inventory and the lack of communication when inventory wasn't there, I will not be using Walmarts curbside anymore, as it is too much of a gamble to drive so far to possibly not get what I need and not be notified I won't be getting it until I'm already almost there. read more

To say the least I'm very disappointed in Walmart's automotive center. The card readers were down, they told my son that he needed to get cash to get his car since he had an oil change. My son called me to inform me of this, so I called the automotive manager Jason and explained that they should allow my son to leave his driver's license and go get cash as I didn't have time to bring cash. Jason was very rude, says "Bite me" and hangs up on me. Completely unprofessional. I then call and speak to the assistant store manager and the store manager Rob said he would look into it as there are "two sides to a story". I insisted he pull up the phone record and listen to it, as a recorded voice call is clear as day. In the 30 minutes phone call I made to the assistant store manager and the store manager, my son had been able to pay and leave. I spend over $300 a week on grocery pickup, they know my husband and I by name, and we have NEVER had an issue with them like we did with the automotive manager Jason. Jason needs to be fired or have extensive customer service training. I'm disappointed that Walmart would have management that is rude and unprofessional. read more

Walmart's awful Pick-Up system and unreliable products and why I'll never use it ever again. I ordered a $400 VR Console and waited a week for Pick-Up. It was delivered and I came to the store to pick it up. 10 minutes goes by after I check into their pick-up stall. I ask an employee how long I should expect my wait to be. She redirects me to someone who can help at an area she calls the 'Bull Pin' or what I call 'Self-Checkout.' I asked the lady their. She proceeds to continue on like she has better things to do and is reluctant to speak to me. But I get my answer. She said and I'll quote. "How long have you been waiting?" Me: "about 10 minutes." "Okay. Well if they take much longer I'll call someone to come help you." Me "Thank you." Now. 10 minutes pass. No one. I go to their stall and tap on their help icon and it claims someone is on their way to help me. 10 MORE minutes pass and someone shows up with my package. I waited 30 minutes for what's supposed to be an instant process. I get home. I plug it in and set it up. Guess what? The console doesn't hold a charge and I have to return it now. They also don't have the console in stock so I can't exchange it. Not pleased. I will never use this Pick-Up system ever again. And I recommend no one else use it either. P.S. I tried everything I could before having to return it. Exchanged chargers, factory reset. Everything. Consoles battery just doesn't hold the charge. Here I come Best-Buy. read more

A few weeks ago I was double charged for a $15 ham, two weeks ago I was charged for garlic bulbs and today we were charged for a 5 gallon container of water that cost 13.44! Its a Super store, so has groceries, deli, bakery, clothes, electronics, crafts plus car center, hair salon, nail salon, eye doctor, Subway and H&R Block during tax season. If you're in need of birthday cake, the bakery does a pretty good job for cheap and they have lots of cool designs. Reasonably clean and organized. My problem is with the people that shop here. Always an experience because of the people. Yeah so that little 5 foot something chick that seems to be a middle manager for customer service handling returns she's about 250 lb with a general look of displeasure is honestly the worst person that you could have in management . So I was returning an item and from the time it took me to get one place from the front spot to put him on the table I saw her completely dismiss one employee with not a word as if she was not even seen her next she had told that same employee to go have somebody take lunch and take their spot. Literally under 10 seconds from the time she told that employee that Steve then got on her radio and said you need to tell so and so that they need to take lunch and not stand there and talk . There's a little something called a change of shift maybe the cashier's not working properly maybe there is somebody that has been trying to steal items . Maybe they just want to have a human interaction for 2 seconds . But you should not make an administrative call like that over a walkie-talkie which is monitored by laughter or really should be and heard by other employees . Unless you want to run I concentration camp and that case you missed your chance by about 80 years and you should have been in East Germany . You honestly need to talk to that manager and have them retrain and humility and compassion for the Republic . She obviously has never had any type of authority or physician in her life or she would not take her job sisters . read more

If I could rate this a zero, I would. The tire center has horrible customer service. They were open at 7 am but did not unlock the front door. Went to the service bay to enter and was yelled at by the technician to not enter and go to the door. Employees inside the lobby literally stood there talking and looking at me in the cold for 10 minutes. I knocked and knocked as they continued to chat and look at me in the cold. I finally left and went Tireroma and received great service. Walmart was horrible. Tireroma was awesome. Demand better service. I will never use walmart tire center again. Location is good if you are in North Spokane. I know it's Wal Mart and I have low expectations but the clientele at this specific location is lower than Wal Mart average. I am really conflicted about this review. I purchased a toy for my son that was a great price, it arrived in a very timely manner, it was exactly as described. All in all it was a GOOD purchase and did Walmart proud. That said, my other son was given 3 things from his relatives for Christmas. Three separate relatives gave him the same board game and one gave him a small pool table, ALL from a Walmart located near them. I took them to the local Walmart and was told that they could not accept the return because it had been purchased at a "SUPERSTORE" Walmart. I then got to drive to a "SUPERSTORE" Walmart and after waiting in line for 20+ minutes I was told that I could not return the board games because they were not purchased at THAT Superstore. I SHOWED them that Walmart sells the product on-line but their "Manager" did not care. I asked him what I was supposed to do... Return it to the "SUPERSTORE" in another town (where it was purchases), return it to China (where it was made), burn it and never buy presents at a Walmart????. His comment was "What do you want me to do sir, it is not in my computer system?" I told him that since it WAS on the Walmart website and in an unopened box I would like him to act like a "manager" and fix the problem. He declined. He did however offer my son $5 for his $30 pool table set (IN AN UNOPENED BOX) because that is what his store was selling it for a month ago. AGAIN, it was on sale on Walmart's website for $30. It ended up we went to Target and returned the board games for in store credit. They could not take the pool table because they don't sell it. THE WHOLE experience at Target took 5 minutes and we dealt with a SMILING and FRIENDLY employee who made the experience pleasant. So all said, THIS product was a good purchase, but in the future if you are buying presents for someone.... GO ANYWHERE ELSE, they will treat you better. read more
